Saw a nice deal online for new tires, never been there before so i decided to get my tires here. Had a 8:00am appointment today to have 4 brand new tires installed on my 2003 dodge neon. I was there on time and they told me that itll be done in an hour so i waited for them to finish. As im waiting, a few other people come in for their appointments for getting new tires installed and they get their car back within the hour slot. It took them about 2 hours to get the tires installed, when my car was done one of the employees began ringing me up. He told me that my car needed an alignment pretty badly because my car seemed to be leaning more to the back of the car. He insisted that the new tires would wear off very fast if i didnt get the alignment so he recommend me to pay them $84 for them to fix that. The only problem with that is that I bought my car less then a week ago and had 2 seperate mechanics look at the car inside and out and even though I bought a used car there was no need for mechanical repairs or any alignments what so ever to my car. The last time it was checked was 2 days ago, so i told them that its not possible and that i dont want to pay for an alignment when it took them already 2 hours just to put my 4 new tires on. When I told him this he kept persisting me to getting the alignment done, I kept telling him no. So when he finally let go of his attempt to persuade me into getting the alignment, he called over a mechcanic who was working on my car and he came into the room where i was being checked out. He seemed to not like the fact that i didnt want to pay for an alignment and pretty much said that my car was a crappy car and that I sucked and was very stupid for being the owner of the car and that if i wanted to try and make it suck less that i should pay for the alignment and stop wasting his time. After all that i finally got my keys to my car and i look at my tires, tires looked good but all my alloy rims looked so dirty and gross. I had to clean them as soon as I got home. Look its honestly not worth dealing with them, maybe not all Tire Plus stores but the Flourtown shop is just horrible. I had one of the worst experiences there and plan on never doing business with them ever again!!

I have used this shop for tire installations and oil changes. First, the oil changes are $20 with online coupon. The filter they use is a Firestone Mid-range product so not that bad and if you upgrade to full synthetic, they use premium filter material. Their tire prices are better than most retailers and they are willing to work with you if you find better prices elsewhere. I always purchase my tires at TireBuyer, which is usually at least $100 cheaper than any shop quote, and they ship to the installer for free. This Tires Plus location was always supportive and accepting of my online tire purchase prior to them installing. Brian even offered to install them for less than the online agreement price through Tire Buyer for $68. They even give you free rotations for life even if you didnt purchase from them! Ive never had major repairs done at this shop, but their labor rate is much lower than the $158/hr at the Toyota Stealership. Get to know the staff, they will work with your budget. I also have watched them complete the standard oil change and they also inspect your exterior lights and tires as advertised. I usually am a walk-in with no appointment and they can usually accommodate me within an hr or so. Also, for and extra $5 they will rotate your tires with the purchase of an oil change! Im not sure about all the negative reviews posted, but my experience has been positive with this shop. 7-14-16: Update.... I had an appointment for state inspection and tire repair. After waiting for ~1.5hrs they were unable to complete the service prior to shop close. I was told to reschedule for a different day. I e-mailed the store manager Brian due to the inconvenience. The shop also has a sign in the waiting area requesting you do so if any issues arise with your service experience. Brian worked with me to have my car serviced a day later first thing in the morning and provided a substantial service discount due to the oversight. The staff at this location is friendly and willing to work with you as long as you express your questions and concerns to them. Give them a try! Great alternative to the Stealerships.

I contacted them on Mon to get pricing on a State and Emmisions Inspection. They were cheaper or equally as much than most. Since it was across the street from my husbands job, it made sense to go there where he could drop it off and pick it up afterwards. Around noon, they contacted my husband and told him, we need front ball bearings in order to pass the Safety Inspection ($548). My husband knew something was shady because we just got brand new front ball bearings and axle shaft 3 weeks prior (5/15/17). They obviously charged us for both inspections ($53), cool...so my husband leaves. I contacted my mechanic (who just did the work needed done 3 weeks ago) and he told us to bring it in. I should let you know, he also does state inspections. We get to his shop the next day, he does the inspection...NOTHING WRONG with the ball bearings. He actually said, for it to be a Tire Plus, they should have told us that our tires tread was low. Nonetheless, we paid another $45 for the state insprction and was done. Needless to say, we paid twice as much for an inspection thanks to this Tire Plus location trying to get over. I can not say I will never give Tire Plus my business again, but I can promise, as long as I am in the Philadelphia Area, I will not be giving Tire Plus my money again.

A few years back I received a coupon in the mail for a free oil change with the purchase of a state inspection. As I was due for both, I set up an appointment. Somehow theyput the oil filter on incorrectly. The oil leaked, warning lights came on, so I took the car immediately to a dealer. The dealer informed me what the issue was and replaced the pull and filter but cautioned I may have issues layer on with sticking valves and engine sludge. Tires Plus did compensate me for my dealer bill, but now that miles have built up the awful sticking valve noise comes back in the cold weather. When I contacted them to ask what they would do, they told me there is no definitive way to connect their mistake with the current issues of my car. Looks like Im out off luck. My advice is to stay far far away. No excuse for mistakes like this.

The attitude in this location is pretty un-friendly. I obtained a quote from the website, called to make an appointment, and was told they would not honor the quote (they could not get the tires). I asked if there were other tires price / quality compatible to the ones they quoted, and they just kept pushing more expensive tires on me. Im actually getting better tires from a dealership as a result (and Im probably paying too much for them). I get the impression that if this store is busy, then they will not service you unless they can gouge you. You can call them and try and get a quote, but its a roll of the dice if youll get an honest deal / good service. There are plenty of other places to get your car serviced, I feel its worth avoiding this place.
