I have an occupied rental property in Upper Darby. Had a plumbing problem with a cracked cast iron soil line. Had no personal plumber. I wanted a local plumber in the area to handle the problem. I called McLoughlin Plumbing first and left a voicemail explaining my problem and asked for a response. I am still waiting for the returned call. I guess they did not want my type of plumbing work. Next day I called Walsh plumbing told them my problem. They came to inspect the problem within the hour. They left and returned an estimate of the work an hour later. They said they would do the work the next day. They were waiting for me at 8:30 the next day as agreed when I arrived. They repaired the old cast iron with new cast iron. I was very happy to have the problem solved let alone so quickly. I never seem to have good luck with contractors. Walsh was a pleasant surprise. Thanks guys.

After years of working with Oliver, they had really let me down on my AC. I couldnt get them to spell out why the quote was so high for a part that retailed for a quarter of what they were asking. Long story short: Walsh Brothers were the complete opposite. Tim and Joe Jr. were fast, accommodating, professional and courteous. Right away, they saw a major issue with our outdoor unit that Oliver had missed for six years - namely that it was from 1993 despite the tag on it that read 2007! (Remind me to sue the previous owner of our house...) Instead of repairing a 10-year-old unit, we suddenly had a need to replace a 24 year-old unit. Despite our limited budget, they worked with us to make it happen and gave us a fair price. THESE ARE THE GUYS YOU WANT doing your A/C. Forget the big companies that will only gouge you!

Super thankful for these guys! Our gas furnace went in the middle of the night and left us with no heat on the coldest night of the year. They came out within the hour of the call, made the repair quickly and professionally. They needed to come back the next morning to replace the air pump and called exactly when they said they would ans came immediately following. Price was totally fair too, especially during a super busy time for HVAC. 5 stars b/ after calling multiple places in our area that boasted about how quick and responsive they were during emergencies and 2 days later we havent received a call back from ANY of them!

Just wanted to give a long overdue thanks to Walsh Brothers for their work during the summer!! During the hottest time of the year, our air conditioning system stopped working/broke. Walsh Brothers were there to fix the system within 2 days of communication. Kevin and Tim did an awesome job with everything from disconnecting/removing old system, to installation of new system, and finally the clean up job was perfect! Thanks for everything and my family really appreciates all the work Walsh Brothers did. I highly recommend Walsh Brothers for whatever service is needed.

I scheduled a yearly inspection for my heat and AC. When the man arrived he checked my heat but did not check the AC since it was too cold. They treated me like an idiot for not knowing the AC couldnt be checked when it is cold, yet their own secretary scheduled the appointment! On top of that, they have been invoicing me for 6 months after the appointment. They say I havent paid, even after I sent copies of bank statements, canceled checks, and signatures. I also found the company extremely rude over the phone. I will not do business with them again.

Just used this company for a new HVAC system. Our system broke down when it was 103 degrees out on a Saturday. I called two companies to come look at it. Got the better price and warranty from Walsh Brothers and Joe, the owner, seemed really honest and gave me two different options and prices, I felt bad as they worked in 100 degree weather but they did not seem to mind at all. They worked hard and they worked fast, left no mess behind and I am a happy customer. I am pleased with their work and employees and I will without a doubt use them again.

I called on a Thursday after getting a call that my tenants A/C was out and it was 95 degrees outside. My tenant is in his late 70s and had just suffered a heart attack a month prior. Joe got out there THAT DAY, assessed the situation, put on a Band-Aid, and started getting to work on a real solution the next day. My property manager tried to shoehorn me into using their guy, but once I read Joe their work order, he gave me better products at 20 percent less than the other guy!!! I will use Walsh Brothers going forward and refer to my friends.

I called to have a leaky facet repaired in my bathroom and a dripping bathtub. After about an hour, I got a bill for $300! The technician who serviced explained that the valve cost replacement was the reason for the high bill. When he left, I looked up the part costs and they were between $18-$40. The problem is fixed, but feel like I could have gotten a new sink for that price! Wish they would have told me the cost over the phone before I got hit with this huge bill

Called after hours and the answering service said one of the owners will call me shortly. Within 2 mins Mr. Walsh called me. I explained the issue. Sent a picture to his cell. He gave me a price and they came the next morning. Outstanding service from initial call to completion. I wasnt home when they came, but they cleaned up after themselves and without me seeing the new pipes I wouldve never known they were there. They earned a customer for life. Thanks guys!

Walsh Bros. completed my changeover from oil to gas heat without much disruption. My equipment was 75 years old. They carried the old oil boiler, antique coal burner, hot water heater and old rusted oil tank out. Kevin and Brian were very neat, wearing booties and gloves, and very personable. I now have a new, high efficiency heating system, which will last for years. The price was reasonable, too. Thank you Walsh Bros.

The rate was great and two days later I had a brand new air conditioning system and furnace. The men were on time, professional and worked quickly to get everything done. The whole experience with Walsh brothers was excellent and I highly recommend them. I wont be using anyone else !
