SCAM ARTIST!!! STAY FAR AWAY AT ALL COSTS!!! I called this company to unclog a drain in a shower that my mother and father in law were using. I didnt have time to do it and I looked them up via google (my fault for not using my angies list since they have a grade F!) Mario Martucci (the owner) said the call would be $90.00. I said okay and he would be out that day. They arrived when my husband and mother in law were there. He started explaining to my mother in law (which has no clue about plumbing and he knew this) he has a "special plunger" and he would need to snake it out for an additional 139.98!! I get a call from my husband and I thought the $90 included this. I said well he is already there just have him unclog the drain. About 5 minutes later my husband call me again saying he will need to cut pipes to remove the clog and we have all these cracked pipes. I said get him OUT OF THERE NOW!!! I come home to a mess in my shower and it still clogged. I used a shop vac to suck the water out of the drain, then I poured drain cleaner (which is safe on my pipes) and waited overnight. I then finished it with pouring boiling water down the drain and cleared it myself!!! After talking to my mother in law and husband I find out he only had a six foot snake and he was looking at all of our bathrooms and saying all this work needed to be done on them and said a main sewer line (which is a toilet waste line) was cracked and leaking and should be all replaced with brass plumbing!!! I call this guy the next day and he tries to tell me the same thing! He doesnt know I am a chemical engineer that has remodeled many bathrooms and worked on repairing equipment for over 10 years! I told him he is a scammer and should be embarrassed on the poor job he has done, especially being a master plumber! I then look up his licenses to find them expired and on his contract he brings to you has you agreeing not to exercise the rights afforded you by the UNFAIR TRADE PRACTICES AND CONSUMER PROTECTION LAW! No reputable business would have this in a contract! STAY AWAY!!!!

Not a scam artist. You need to listen to what they are telling you. There is a call fee and yes he tells you about it before they come out. We had roots clogging our drainage pipes to the sewage system, and the water backed up into our house. We called numerous other "plumbers" and even had a a budget "plumber" come out and tell us that they couldnt clear the line because of "bends in pipes". Action Plumbing was recommended by a co-worker, and Mario returned my call immediately. He informed me that there is a service charge for coming out, but he was the only one who was willing to come out on a Saturday night. He cleaned out the pipe and got the drains working again. They charge by the job not by the time, so even if the job takes 5 minutes or 5 hours its still the same price, and its done right. Mario even called the city to have their lines checked, and the restoration company to have my carpeting and walls fixed. Definitely worth a call in an emergency. The above mentioned root totally choked off the pipe a year later because trees grow and no matter how many times you snake the they find the sewer lines. We had them come out and replace the sewer line. Granted it took them a few weeks to get out but they covered the permits ahead of time and covered cost until they came out. Yes my front lawn is ripped to shreds but they had run trenches and dig out the old lines.

RIP OFF ALERT! This company is a rip off. They charged me $361.77 to replace an elbow in the gas pipe that ran DIRECTLY to my stove. It took the technician 15-20 minutes to do the job. I spend more time arguing about the price. They charged me $90 just to walk through my front door. The sad thing is the guy didnt have to diagnose anything. The gas company already did the diagnostics and put a paper on the pipe saying what needed to be done. I do NOT recommend this company. If you call them for anything be ready to pay $90 right off the bat. The $361.77 he charged me was after the "discounted price"; he took $75.00 off the original price of $436.77. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. The guy will look the price to charge you for the job from a book he carries around and will tell you he uses it for all jobs and customers. RIP OFF ALERT!

Mario came to fix my water heater which had broken upper/lower thermostats - I wasnt getting any hot water. Not only did he fix the thermostats but also gave me tips on how to maintain my water heater and what to look out for with my circuit breakers as they related to our water heater (potential fire hazards). Im very happy with his service as he was professional and educated about what he was doing. He discussed what needed to be done and how much it would cost up front. There was no delay and he was able to fix it within his visit. Thanks Mario!

Ive used Action Plumbing several times now. In each case, I have been 100% satisfied. The fees are known up front. The work is paid for by the job, not by the hour. The work is always top notch and any questions I have regarding what was done are answered (and, when possible, I was shown exactly what was done and how to handle it myself next time if needed). After having used other services in the are and paying dearly for work that took longer than expected, I would definitely recommend Action Plumbing.

Have a clogged drain, called Action Plumbing and they were not helpful at all. Very pushy and would not let me finish my sentences. I have a busy schedule and took time off from work to get the issue taken care of. I called another local plumber and they got back to me within the hour and were able to come out same day and provided me with a fixed price for a line cleaning. So simple and easy. Would not recommend these guys bases just on my conversation with them over the phone.

Horrible and just in it to see how much he can scam out of you! Has listed on his contracts expired licenses and does more talking then fixing the problem. 5 minutes in your house will cost you close to $300 without fixing anything and leaving a huge mess in your house. Complained to BBB and he does not respond. Call anybody other then him!!!!

This is the second time we have used Action Plumbing, and would NOT consider ANYONE else! They took the time to do the work RIGHT and were very courteous and patient, answering all questions and explaining what they were doing every step of the way. Did I mention I would not even think about using anyone else? You shouldnt either!

Horrible experience called to get and estimate and I was getting charge $90.00 just to come out to take a look and give me and estimate. When I asked if that price was just for coming out I was told very rudely that " nothing in life is free" and that is why i was having the problems that i was having with my home.
