Edwin Stripe, Inc. is the best plumbing,heating, and air conditioning company in the Lehigh Valley area guaranteed! We just moved into our first home and with our luck in the middle of July the A/C goes out, not knowing the area I call to have it serviced with another company first who comes out and tells me I need a new motor replaced and possibly some other parts and its going to cost me $700 or better yet I may want to just replace my unit which would be around $5,000, Ouch! So after feeling overwhelmed I told him I needed to talk it over with my husband and wed get back to him. We decided to get a second opinion and Im more than glad we did. I called Edwin Stipe Inc and after speaking to Vicki on the phone about my situation she was more than understanding and sent out one of her techs to take a look even though it was Sunday. Henry was very friendly and upfront and let us know we didnt need to replace our unit and it would be worth having one of their techs come out and take a second look. Feeling good about it I agreed and they sent Jason who diagnosed the problem in no time and was very good at explaining to me the real problem. In the end it was only the capacitor that needed replaced for $200. A lot better turn out for sure! Im so grateful that we got a second opinion and went with Edwin Stripe, Inc. We will definitely be using them in the future for all our service needs! Thanks again Vicki,Henry, and Jason not only for your professionalism but for taking a personal interest in my situation!

2013- First time for Home heating annual service from Edwin Stipe. Nader was very professional and was glad to share his experience and recommendations. Obviously extremely knowledgeable on all aspects of the heating and cooling business. Also Alan has been great on previous plumbing jobs and Vicki is a pleasure to work with on planning and scheduling. 2014- Jason Cooper came out for a service call yesterday and did an excellent job of troubleshooting and repairing my oil burner which turned out to need a new fuel pump. Another very knowledgable technician from Edwin Stipe. April 2015 - John and Bryan installed a ductless heat pump hybrid system with six wall units in my old victorian house. Both technicians were very knowledgeable and professional. Also kudos to Matt the project manager - answered questions, made adjustments - very pleased with the project overall. June 2015 - John C did the annual service on my oil burner, and Bryan B did the plumbing inspection. Both very skilled, answered all questions, and did excellent work. Feb 2016 - Hector came out and replaced the exhaust damper for the oil burner- great job!!!! Feb 2016 - Nadir checked out the heating performance of the heat pump and replaced the fuse very professional!!!

Until recently, we have been impressed with this company. They replaced our heating/central AC system, and have always provided excellent service before and after that work. Unfortunately, we have been unable to obtain a written estimate for a water heater replacement. Despite advertising free estimates (you can "google" it), they wanted $75 (which was not guaranteed to go toward a purchase/installation). After some negotiation, they agreed that the technician servicing the HVAC system would communicate the specs to a WH expert by phone to generate a free estimate; we thought this was a good compromise. However, 6 weeks have since passed, and the informal estimate has not been followed with a formal written estimate, despite assurance that one would be forthcoming. Our most recent followup was two weeks ago, and we can only conclude that the company has decided that we are no longer valued, or even welcome, as customers (perhaps because we have not signed up for an annual service contract?). It is unfortunate, given how positive our prior experience with this company has been.

John and Mike arrived this morning to install a new Mini Split in my sunroom. John asked me a few questions and thankfully he did! In order to put the inside wall unit where it looked best (center of the wall between and above 2 large windows) he needed 2 additional pieces. Im thankful he asked because if it wasnt centered, it wouldve drove me crazy! He called for the parts at a local business, picked them up and continued the install. They worked hard throughout the hottest day yet this year and completed the job within the time frame they quoted. They covered the floor, cleaned up the debris when they were completed and even vacuumed around the windows, where there was dust from drilling. This company was recommended by a friend and they absolutely DID have the BEST price with knowledgable and experienced technicians. I would definitely recommend them to someone looking for a ductless split system or any other service. Im glad I chose Edwin Stipe! Im loving the cool air and looking forward to a comfortable summer!! Thanks guys!!!!

Edwin Stipe is an excellent company. On this job, they replaced my old central air conditioning unit with a new unit, both indoor and outdoor components. Most of this work took place in my attic, which is difficult to access. Originally, they came out in April to do the annual service on my air conditioning unit, a unit of unknown age. I was very disappointed with the performance of the previous company that was servicing the unit. I knew from past experience the Edwin Stipe people would give me an accurate assessment of the unit. They did, and provided pictures. They suggested I replace the unit, which they estimated at 20 years old. We proceeded with this project, and they did a great job. I now have a service contract with them for my oil furnace as well as my air conditioning. Their skill, trustworthiness, and commitment to customer service makes Edwin Stipe a company that stands high above the rest. I recommend Edwin Stipe for all HVAC services. My HVAC went down Thursday night. I called Edwin Stipe at 7:35AM Friday morning and Sebastian came to diagnose my system by 9:30AM. He determined that I needed a new furnace, coil, and air conditioner, and even though that wasnt the news I was hoping for he was polite, courteous, and explained and showed me everything he was doing. His supervisor Matt came out after he left to quote me a new system and was just as polite and professional as the tech. Would highly recommend. Update 2 weeks later: System has been installed and works better than my old one. It took them 5 hours to install everything and get it up and running. They have me a year of free service where they will come out and service the entire system for free 3 times for the first year. Great experience. Would absolutely 100% recommend!

In short Brian B & Nader H. rock in my book!!!! 1st - I had my furnace cleaned by Nader, he was very clean, very professional but most of all very nice. He was on time, quick and efficient. He even made sure my very curious cats didnt get out no matter how many times he was in and out the door. 2nd - About a week after my cleaning I woke up to no hot water and found out my furnace would not run. I called and within a half hour Brian showed up, he was very professional and kept me calm and informed the whole time. Brian knows what hes talking about, and has a real great way of explaining whats happening to the homeowner in real language not technician talk. Nader stopped by too. Problem fixed!!!! QUICK, EASY AND VERY VERY AFFORDABLE!!
