Although the technician who came to repair the outdoor unit of our a/c was courteous and professional and completed his tasks to provide a successful repair, I certainly do NOT appreciate being overly price gouged for the replacement parts that were used to fix the unit. I was charged over $300 for a part that regularly sells for $20. The other part that I needed sells for around $15 and was charged over $100 for this. It would be one thing if I was informed of the ridiculous mark up on these parts as I would have declined to have the work done. When I saw the parts that were needed, I knew that they were reasonably priced items. NOT WITH NAUMAN MECHANICAL! Shame on Nauman Mechanical for such disgraceful business practices. I dont deny anyone the right to earn a profit, but part prices marked up to 10 times their value is criminal! It is July 10, 2017. I would like to add to my review of Nauman Mechanical. I will say this, they work hard at customer service. My initial service call on July 6 resulted in a temporary success. Within 48 hrs problems resurfaced with the unit. I was called by Blaine first thing on Monday morning to schedule a time when a technician would arrive. Again, the tech was courteous and professional. I do appreciate the prompt and detailed service. They followed up their work and did not charge for the service call. I am changing my rating from 1 star to 3 stars because of their well appreciated customer service.

I tried using Nauman Mechanical to add some freon to a heat-pump system at a rental property. I scheduled the appointment over a week out because I was told on that day, it could be the very first appointment of the day, at about 8am. That suited my tenant who would wait for the service to be done, then go to work late. When no-one showed by 9 am, I called for an answer and was told the service guy would be leaving another job soon. They never had any intention of making it the first appointment. The service guy came about an hour later. He was courteous, and professional when he explained that the unit needed freon, but it was obvious that he was following instructions to push for an annual maintenance contract. He pumped 2 lbs of freon without any issue and was out of there in less than an hour. I agree with the other reviewer who says they price gauge. My bill for adding 2 lbs of freon came to $592.76. Thats about double what I paid another vendor for a similar heat-pump unit in the recent past. Its pretty short sighted on their part. Had they just offered a fair price, I would be calling again, with multiple properties to service.

We recently used Nauman Mechanical to replace our HVAC system. Ed R. and Kenny V. were on site for several weeks completing our project. Both men were exceptionally professional at all times. They kept us up to date on their progress as well. We have multiple floors and the men had to physically carry the HVAC units up the stairs, work around all of our items in storage - which is were the systems were - and never did you hear any complaining. Its was truly a pleasure working with them and all of the team at Nauman Mechanical! Thanks for doing such a great job.

Today, Eric came to look at my water-conditioning system, which has not been operating properly for two years. I had been told it was "fine." because the water wasnt hard. In any case, Eric quickly solved the problem. I would heartily recommend Erics services for many of the specialties Nauman Mechanical handles. He was personable, efficient, polite and clearly interested in solving the issue, which the original provider of the equipment was not. I would like Eric to continue servicing our equipment, as needed.

Nauman mechanical did a terrific job installing our central air conditioning. They came on the exact date and time they were supposed to come, and everyone was very professional. We had some complexity with our install with the electrical lines and they did a good job with the issue. The job was completed in 3 consecutive days (it did not extend for weeks), and we were very happy with the installation. The air conditioning works great!

Nauman Mechanical gave me the best pricing and date of my preference to have a new toilet installed at a condominium at Camelback Village in Tannersville. Eric was the installer and he did a fine job, quickly and efficiently. I would definitely use them again for any future needs. ( Eric had lots of outdoor stairs to run up and down multiple times in cold weather and not a grunt or complaint out of him! Haha.) Good man!

The installers were very flexible and understanding when working at our house when our newborn was both awake and sleeping. Awesome work and service!

Made several attempts to schedule an appointment for an estimate on 2 heat pump units. They were very nice on the phone but unfortunately very unreliable. The tech rescheduled twice and at the last minute called to reschedule again. Something about having car problems stated it was an ongoing issue. I cannot hire a company that fails to keep their own vehicles in good shape.
