I moved to Palmer township last year and rented a storage bin at this facility.. The manager, Lamar Herod was professional, and helpful, and I would give him a 5 star rating.However, I had one very big issue with the company itself..I did give notice of intent to vacate in a timely manner and as it turned out, the date for moving was the day after my monthly fee was deducted from my credit card as was the agreed upon arrangement for payment. I did ask Lamar if I could have the charge prorated because as it stood, I would be charged a full months rent for not quite one full day of usage.He said he would check with the general manager and after about one month, I called Lamar about this issue. He told me he spoke to the general manager and I could not get any rebate.I told him that this was not a fair arrangement and I was not happy with this. I have no recourse but to accept the outcome of this situation but because of this, I would strongly caution anyone who is considering renting a storage unit there to keep this issue in mind..I have just been charged over $83 for not quite one day of storage.

I called four different storage facilities in my area and after speaking to Lamar on the phone I knew Stowaway would be the place for me. Arriving to the site and meeting Lamar in person was a great pleasure. He knows his job well and most importantly his customer service skills are top notch, which you do not find too often anymore. Everything was explained in detail so no hidden charges later on. He went above and beyond once I realized my original unit was too small and he found the next bigger available unit within a few minutes. The location is secure and well maintained, so with all that said I highly recommend Stowaway! Thank you for the experience Lamar!

Just found hidden gem in Palmer. The manager Kris is so friendly makes you feel right at home. Very personable and really knows how to fit storage needs. I just moved a 4 bedroom house with a lot of aggravation Kris made this the last of my worries, got me in and situated quickly. Thanks!!! I will be passing your name along!!

Excellent and clean. Staff courtesy and helpfulness a plus. Could use a discount when a long term client rents more than one unit for and extended time. I would recommend Stowaway to my family and friends.
