For years I have defended Walmart against other people, but this week I was appalled at the poor customer service I experienced at the Exton location. After researching a GPS unit on their website, I went to the store to purchase. The electronics person informed me that the store would NOT match their own website price. Let me state that again. The Walmart store would NOT HONOR THEIR OWN WEBSITE PRICES. They said I could order it from the website and have it shipped to the store. Okay, fine. Since the store ALREADY had many in stock, I asked "could I order from the website and walk away with one of the units that are already at the store?". I was told no and that I would actually have to have one shipped to the store, despite the fact that store had plenty of the exact unit. To make matter worse, the employee and the manager acted like this was a completely rational policy and that I was crazy to expect such convenience. Im sorry, but I can go to almost any other electronics store and they will price match just about ANYTHING and will do whatever they can do let you walk away with an item in hand. Walmart is truly a second rate business.

We live in Philadelphia and on 2 occasions when visiting family in this area, have gotten flat tires. Both times were on a Sunday evening when there are not many reputable places open. We took the car to the Exton Walmart figuring that it would be unusual for someone who was employed by an auto repair center, and presumably trained to fix tires, to screw up a small patch job. As luck would have it, we encountered such a person on both occasions. To keep a long story short, after 2 separate instances of patch jobs on three tires, the employees here managed to put all three of the tires on backwards, and broke off the tire pressure monitoring sensor. $200 and a good deal of time has been eaten up getting these issues fixed. The kicker of this situation is that Nancy, the Assistant Manager, is making it EXTREMELY difficult to get reimbursed for the bills that weve incurred throughout this process-repair bills, mind you- not anything unreasonable.

I used to like going to Walmart. One stop shopping, fast, cheap and easy! Not the Walmart of Exton. Unfortunately Ive continued to go to the Exton Walmart despite its outrageous lack of organization, horrible customer service and lack of product. As usual they were out of stock of many, many items. The paint machine was "broken", after I took 5 mins to track an employee down, wait over 20 minutes to have to track down the same employee again just to have him say "oh, yeah its broken..sorry". Wasted a half hour to get nothing in return. Dirty would be a compliment. I swore never to return to this Walmart again. Close this store, retrain or rehire and start fresh! Horrible!

This was the absolute worst service I have ever tried to use. I called 3 times, they took 5 minutes to pick up the phone call each time. When the lady answers the phone she was rude and sloppy and told me to call back again to transfer my call when I asked if they repair flat tires. Then I called again and she tells me the same thing after another 5 minutes of waiting. I told her I just called and she said she couldnt transfer me unless I call again so I did and after another 5 minutes, she picks up the phone and hangs up. Extremely rude, dont ever go here!

People, its WALMART!!! The majority of their employees are either "slow" or borderline retarded. Go there for their cheap/discount prices and leave. Dont speak/ask questions to any employees because they wont know the answer or give you the wrong answer. And dont use their automotive services because theyll screw it up. I doubt many (any) of them are real mechanics. If you were a "real" mechanic would you work at Walmart? Hell no!

I just had four tires mounted and balanced in Exton. A young man by the name of Lu waited on me and in fact was the same guy who did my tires. He was polite and professional and had the car done in 1 1/2 hours when promised and my car rides like new again. I cant speak to the people that had bad experiences here but I can tell you my wifes car needs tires soon and I will be back.

The auto department is really bad. They did an oil change for me, added too much oil, put the wrong filter on, and left their tools under my hood. I got home and realized it all. I had to do the work to fix it myself. Also, theyll never answer the phone or are very unhelpful when they do. Their store hours listed are 7am - 1159pm? What?... A horible place for vehicles.

I went to Walmart for an oil change that took over 1 hour and the mechanic forgot to change my oil filter. I went back the following day and another person took care of me right away. I probably wont go back for an oil change again but I would go back to the store for grocery or other stuff. The prices tend to be lower than the competitors.

Brought my tires there to be installed. They charge you an extra $10.00 per tire to install if you didnt buy them there. Great business practice. They gouge you for the tires and then pretend they are reasonable for the install. No thanks. Big box service and quality.

I have never done anything more than oil changes here but Ive gotten good or the same customer service as anywhere else Ive gone in the past. A few times (2 vehicles over a couple years) they even clearely vacuumed out the car.

Very bad experience. I tried to buy a ping pong table using the "site-to-store" feature. Long story short - they LOST the ping pong table. Wasted my lunch break walking around the store looking for a 5 by 5 175lb box.
