Started out nice, but unit rate went up each year, then would be charged an arbitrary $5 every so often, and was told it was a convenience fee, when I called in payments over the phone. I have been late a few times, so no complaints about late fees, but an issue I had was once I paid for the month, at least on 4 different occasions they had NOT removed their lock for a least 3 or 4 days - each time I was trying to get into my unit and had to go to the office to get the lock removed, very quick to put on their lock, but long lag time removing the lock. The last time it took them 11 days to remove lock. Could not access my unit from 12/23/16 until 1/3/17, which was ridiculous!!!! Also should provide a dumpster on site.

Nice facilities. Shady business people. They do not tell you all the other upfront costs until you go to swipe your card. Im not saying these costs are not legitimate (e.g., renters insurance), but they should lay out everything when they give you a quote, BEFORE move-in day. Although, if they did, they probably wouldnt get as many customers... Also, BEWARE of their "free truck" advertisement. It is not free. They charge you $20 (plus tax) for "insurance/damages," and even though the form says its refundable....its not.

Tim was extremely courteous, explained everything in great detail. Im very glad he was waited on me, his customer service was exemplary. The storage facility is extremely clean. I feel very comfortable with my items being stored at Guardian Storage on the Waterfront. I forgot to add the free truck was necessary it was very convenient and I appreciated it very much.

Reasonable (though not "cheap") pricing, clean premises, and good security, Helpful staff (they provided a place to deliver a very large/heavy shipment and even helped me get it into my car). Hard to "love" a storage unit but Ill give em five stars for that level of service.

John Helms, one of the managers was very friendly and great to deal with over the telephone and in person. We arranged to use the truck and it worked out well.The units and facility are very clean, well-lit and secure. I would highly recommend this as a storage facility.
