I dont usually write reviews - but had a suprisingly good experience at Guardian Self Storage in Ross. One of those rare times when things just go right and something simple exceeds your expectations. We were up against a short deadline approaching a holiday and needed to store an apartments worth of stuff...fast. I spoke to the manager Tim W., he was helpful in picking a size that made sense, and he gave me a competitive quote even though they were in a closer, more convenient location right on McKnight Rd. than some of the more remote places I compared them to. What suprised me more than anything was the truck you can use for a nominal cost for move in: it was nicer than anything Ive rented from UHaul - modern, clean, and the perfect size. Moreover, the facility is not only really clean, well lit and laid out inside, but that they keep the exterior grounds so well. Ended up talking to the maintenance guy Mike, he took a lot of pride in that and it showed. Great job guys. Thanks.

Guardian Storage in the North Hills is the best there is. My wife I have used this facility for over 18 months and could not be happier with the location, buildings and staff. Jason and Sean are two of the finest managers I have had the opportunity to work with. Their costumer service skills are outstanding. When my wife I moved back to Pittsburgh and needed a long term storage solution, Guardian came highly recommended and and I see why. With multiple storage unit to select from, climate controlled environment and 24 hour security, who could pass this by. I have will continue to use them for all my storage needs and will always highly recommend them to anyone and everyone who will need outstanding storage solutions.

I have used various storage facilities over the past 20 years. Never have I had such a pleasant experience as I did with Guardian Storage in Ross Twp. Pittsburgh. John (property manager) was very friendly/professional and gave a tour of the entire inside building showing all the options/costs. We had a future date that we needed the unit for and he was very accommodating regarding move in date. We has a few other reasons to contact him and he was always willing to help. The facility is great! Clean, elevator, dollies, Keurig coffee. They even have a truck/van you can borrow if you need it. I will surely use Guardian Storage again.

Neat, very clean, and organized (entry key pad, gate, dock, automatic doors..etc..) facility. The staff helped us quickly and efficiently with our storage needs. I would recommend this site, but the next time Guardian management decides to re-seal the parking lot........especially on a busy Saturday in July, please please please notify tenets by more than one email. (post signs, makes calls, send out pigeons...whatever) That was a stressful experience. :) Thanks :) F J B

I was very impressed that the staff at Guardian Storage actually called me back when a unit in the size that I needed became available. I went in to view the unit and within 20 minutes had all of the paperwork completed. The facility is convenient, clean and lifts/carts make it easy to use; and the staff is very professional, efficient and courteous. This is my second rental unit with Guardian and I will definitely use them again should the need arise in the future.

This is an excellent storage facility with many different options to suit any type of storage needs. John, the property manager, is very helpful and friendly. They were quickly able to accommodate my request for a 2nd unit as soon as I realized I was running out of room in my first unit. The site also has a large moving van that can be rented for very reasonable rates. Will definitely use again if I ever have the need for some additional storage.

I love this place, today i moved my things out. I am sad, I had them there for 2 years. I paid over the phone every month so I got to Know jason and deb. He even canceled a few late fees for me (wink) Great place, cheapest around. I had the smalled unit and I called everywhere and this one was the most affordable, it is really easy to get things in and out too because they have an elevator and many wagons! Thank you, Koller

For storage facilities and management I have to say this one was top notch. I leased an interior unit for a year and within that year making payments was an ease, communicating with the manager was hassle free, and the unit remained completely dry. Moving in and out was a breeze with the large loading dock, freight elevator and numerous carts. If you are looking for interior storage units I dont think you can do better.

Guardian on McKnight Road couldnt have been easier to work with in securing a storage unit for our household. My wife and I were able to quickly reserve a unit over the phone and had no problems once we arrived. The manager John was great and pleasant to work with!

We rented a 10x15 for a little over a month, but we wouldnt hesitate to use Guardian again. Staff were friendly, personable, didnt try to sell us anything we didnt need, and were extremely helpful throughout. Wonderful experience, thanks guys!

Was a customer for 2+ years. Internet payments are not user friendly. Got a few price hikes during my lease. What for? Not happy about that. Some of my items had white dust like particles on them. Honestly not a big deal.

Meet or exceeded all our expectations. Staff couldnt have been more accommodating or helpful. Unit was clean and access was easy. The hill is certainly steep coming and going so make sure your load is always secure.

Cost was significant and they prorated the month upon move in to get our business but not at the end when we moved out resulting in potential double rent for our unit. Seems dishonest. I would not use them again.
