I got my haircut here today by sylvia and i have to say im very dissatisfied. I came by several photographs of the cut I wanted but she hardly looked at them. I felt as though she was barely listening to what I wanted done. She spent very little time (less than 10 minutes) cutting my hair which is long and curly. I told her that i always part my hair on the right, yet she cut it as though I part it in the middle so all of my short layers are on one side of my head. she did not even attempt to make any conversation with me whatsoever, aside from what was strictly necessary. I will not be going back and would not recommend sylvia to anyone.

WAS getting my hair cut here for a while. Cultivating a new short style with G. After 3 months of growing out I came in for a trim of just the back neckline and around ears. Felt like she was working aggressively on the back, but couldnt see it until she came around to the side and ZIP my hair was shorn off down to the scalp. I made her stop but too late. When you only have 3 and a half inches of hair and you take away 3 of it, its pretty shocking! As a professional 58 year old woman the 12 year old boy look just doesnt work. Guess you get what you pay for. Should be re-named the Chop Shop!

I was getting my highlights done here because they were growing out and my original hairdresser at another salon was booked. You are only supposed to do the roots they did all the whole thing all the way to the bottom. My friend was with me getting hers done too. They did the same thing to her hair. By the time I realized it was too late to say anything. You could literally see it falling out as they were brushing it wet.

Very disappointed, I was treated very disrespectfully, and I got there, waited a half an hour then was told I needed to "sign in" then they told me they werent sure if they could fit me, when there was only me and 1 other person in the waiting room, in as they proceeded to walk into the back for another half an hour, I surely will never return here, betsy was especially rude

Terrible... I asked for a comb over and just got the worst haircut any person could have ever givin in my life... Just terrible place... Your suposed to be stylest... Style... If you just want a hair without any input at all and want the worst experience ever... This is the place to go... Now the hair cuttery in deptford is totally different... Better.

This is a high volume location so if you go during a busy time expect to wait. They do color very well, especially for the price. The stylists have many years experience and are comfortable conversationalists. For a good haircut communication is key. They can and will (unintentionally) mess up your cut if you dont tell them what you want.

Absolutely horrific. I went in to get a few inches off and the last Gabrielle I think it was, completely butchered my head. Cut it way shorter then I asked and just "assumed" I wanted layers so now I have short hair, uneven cut, and layers that I didnt ask for! Never spending a dime there ever again.

Im so upset with mine and my daughters haircut , she didnt listen at all , I asked for a trim and not to touch any of the layers just a shape up needless to say its a horrible haircut.My daughter is 5 and Starts kindergarten in a few days and wanted her hair cut even NOT UNEVEN...

Inconsistent service. I keep getting told they require appointments to be made online. Unfortunately, their website and their app is telling me online appointments cannot be made at this time. On a positive note, Gabby is their most valuable employee.

Had a great cut from sylvia. I didnt know what I wanted and I just described the cut as being fun and manageable. She gave me an angled bob cut and I loved it. I didnt know that my hair could look so great. I look great and I feel great!!!

Stylists did not listen or apply themselves to individual assessments or notes on needs - production environment mentality.. But will not go back for the horrific lighting alone. Who wants to see themselves at their worst?

I brought a picture and asked for a trim. Before I could object, I had the closest cut Ive ever had in my life. I wont be returning to this establishment.

Ashley is friendly, fast, and gives a great haircut. Pricing increased a bit recently, but is still pretty fair.
