I would give Fox Chapel Dry cleaners a ZERO if it were possible. I took 2 table cloths and 10 sashes to get cleaned. They called me to tell me that they were cleaned and the the total was $164.50. That is outrageous. I called a few other places to get pricing and they were more than $75 more than what their local competitors charge. When I called and asked about it, they said they they are aware they they are more money than other cleaners, but that most people just pay it. I was also told they charge by weight - but the sashes were satin - so Im not sure how a thin satin sash costs $10 to clean and press. I was also told a lady had to stand in the back and hand iron them - so if they dont have the proper equipment, then I should have been informed of that from the start. Awful, awful, awful. When I called to question, I was told I could not have a managers contact infomation. Who doesnt allow their clients to speak with a manager? Terrible customer service. I was then told that I could either pay it or they would donate my items. DO NOT GO HERE unless you want to spend more money for an awful experience.

I do NOT recommend this place. They overcharge for services that you do not request - you are just hit by a higher price when you go to pickup your clothes. Unfortunately I had already left my clothes for alteration when I heard from a friend about her bad experience - only to be faced with a similar situation when I picked up my blouse. I was charged $11 extra for cleaning on a brand new blouse I had never worn - had just dropped it off for hemming. It was a simple cotton blouse that did not require dry cleaning, in fact due to beading around the neckline, was tagged hand wash only. I complained I had not requested cleaning - they had even written the price for alterations only on my pickup slip. But they still wouldnt discount me the extra $11. It was clearly a sham.

Horrible. This place is a dump. The employees are incompetent And rude they couldnt even get a single suit pressed in 24hrs. It was then returned to me wadded up in a plastic bag. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE.

They took forever to complete an order and have worst customer service. There are so many places in fox chapel to have dry cleaning/tailoring service done, choose another over this place.

The employees are gracious and kind. Cleaning $4,000 dollar suits and $15 dollar golf caps...excellent.
