HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH PIAZZA HONDA OF READING. STAFF EXTREMELY RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL TO CUSTOMERS. VLAD SARLAT TOLD ME “I LOST A LOT OF MONEY ON YOU. IT APPEARS NOBODY TOLD YOU LIFE IS NOT PERFECT”. SERVICE TEAM DID MORE DAMAGE THAN GOOD. DO NOT RECOMMEND I was on the market for a new 2016 Honda Civic. I received a call from Vlad Sarlat’s assistant with a very good offer on the car and made my way into the office. My initial impressions of Vlad were very positive however that did not last long. Vlad told me that he went around the car twice to ensure there were no scratches or dings. After paying for the car, I noticed a quarter inch gash on the spoiler of the car where paint was missing. Vlad was noticeably frustrated and said that they would pay for a paint pen for me to fix it myself (Vlad’s dealership was 50 miles away and I could not drive back the following weekend for them to fix). Me, a novice with cars thought that would be fine and left. I would never be reimbursed for the paint pen. After buying the paint pen at a local dealer, they instructed me that the paint pen would not sufficiently hide the gash and it would need to be replaced or repainted. After calling Vlad with this news he told me and I quote “I lost a lot of money on you. It appears nobody told you that life is not perfect. I cannot work with you anymore. Please call my manager and deal with him”. I was dumbfounded. Never in my life have I been treated so poorly by someone in the customer service industry. Per Vlad’s instructions, I called his manager and after a month of back and forth’s they finally agreed to replace the spoiler. During the spoiler replacement, I was notified that they put dents in the car and had to keep it for an undetermined amount of time, giving me a loaner in the meantime. I requested that while they have the car, they remove my PA registration stickers on the windshield as the car was now registered in Delaware. I was told by the shop manager that the stickers had been removed they were just waiting to fix the dents. I shouldn’t have been surprised when I received the car a week later (after they fixed the dents they put into the car during the spoiler replacement) that the registration stickers were still present. The Piazza Honda of Reading service team also upgraded the car software due to a recall. The first time I drove the car, I noticed my brakes were sticking. I learned that after upgrading the software, they never recalibrated the car and thus I had to go to another dealership to fix the mistakes that Piazza Honda of Reading made. Unbelievable. Overall it was a horrible experience. I dealt a horribly rude and disrespectful sales team. A service team that did more damage than good and lied about the work they did. I am very relieved that I will never have to work with this dealership again.

I did my research and found the car I wanted on their website and at a great price. I called to ask some questions on the condition of the car, but was originally told to call back an hour later. When I was able to speak to a used car dealer, they did not answer my question after asking a few times and just kept telling me how great a deal it was, so I was a bit discouraged. Since the price was so good, I decided to take a drive down (I live 2 hours away), but called to make sure the car was still available. When I got there, Nancy took care of me and already had the car pulled in front, and gave me some time alone to look over the car. I was expecting to have to overcome aggressive sales tactics but was pleasantly surprised about how easy it was working with Nancy, and she made me forget about my experience up to that point. She was very knowledgeable about the car, available financing, and costs of tax, title, and tags while on the test drive. She purposely took me on a drive over roads that were in rough shape, hills, and the highway to make sure I got to experience an array of driving conditions. Not once during the process did I feel pressured or stressed, so I decided that this was the time and place to buy my car. I was expecting to get a loan from an outside bank due to the low APR I found, and was ecstatic when they were able to offer me an even lower rate! The woman in the finance office went over the paperwork in detail, and provided me additional options like an extended warranty (that was reasonably priced), and Gap Coverage. Even after declining both services she did not push it any further and helped me finish the rest of the paperwork. While the paperwork was being done, Nancy arranged for the car to be detailed, even though it was already in immaculate condition. The car was finished by the time I signed all the papers, and she ended the great experience by helping me sync my phone to the car through Bluetooth. I am very grateful for how well Nancy treated me, and made my first car buying experience at a dealership easy and informative. I would highly recommend this place to anyone in the area and cannot say enough good things about how I was treated. Thank you Nancy!!!

I found the service at this dealership and the staff to uphold a level of excellence that was above and beyond exceptional! I purchased a 2015 Honda CR-V Touring back on September 22, 2015 and noticed a manufacturing defect in the alloy wheel that came on the Touring trim level. I worked with a Honda case manager and Mr. John Sonday, Service Manager and they happily replaced it for me. During the time my CR-V was at the dealership, they were kind enough to provide me with a loaner car - I could not have been more thankful for that because I work "graveyard" hours and it would have been extremely difficult to find a means of transportation to where I needed to go. Piazza Honda took excellent care of me. I have also brought it in a few times to have various things looked at such as brakes, AC/Climate Control, and Bluetooth and for each and every visit, the dealership and staff upheld the same level of excellence that people have come to trust Honda to provide to their customers. I love my CR-V! If you are looking for an AWD SUV that provides that MOST bang for your buck, get the 2015/2016 Honda CR-V Touring! You get a tremendous amount of car for your money!!! And how does the AWD work? Well in January of 2015 when we had 30in + of snow my CR-V and I went playing in the snow. I tried to get that thing stuck and it just kept going! I tried going up steep inclines with traction control on and off, went up with not a single issue. I then tried going up on an incline about halfway, stopping and then stepping on the gas to see if it would get stuck. The computer figured out what needed to be done and went right up the hill. Im a happy and proud Honda owner not just because I am confident that I purchased a vehicle that will last and be reliable, but because Piazza Honda of Reading or any Honda dealership for that matter is confident in the vehicles that Honda makes and upholds an exceptional level of excellence. I want to personally thank the staff at Piazza Honda of Reading for helping me take such good care of my vehicle! You truly make a difference!
