Update: Shades corrected the situation and gave us another Gift card :) Purchased a gift card for Our sitter as an end of the year present. The gift card was purchased over the phone and was supposed to mailed out. A week and half later (I live 2 minutes away) still NO gift card. I call and they said once it is out in the mail there is nothing they can do. No refund No nothing! Absolutley ridiculous! So now not only do we not have the gift for our sitter we are out the $50!!! Will NEVER go here or send a friend!!

The lady I had cant do haircuts from pictures. My friend went earlier in the day and came out looking the same (the haircut he wanted was above the shoulder, he walked out still with mid back length hair). I went in in the evening and the design was all wrong which until I got home and had someone else take a picture I couldnt see how wrong it was. Very disappointed. This was my first time there and I doubt any of us will go back. Wish scissors and sun was still there....

I was hesitant to stop in the first time, but Ive been back a number of times to see Heather, the nail tech. Shes amazing at what she does and incredibly nice to chat with. My nails (which are natural) are healthier and stronger than theyve ever been and she has stayed late to accommodate my schedule more than once. The atmosphere is so homey and comfortable too! I would recommend this salon to anyone looking for some good old fashioned girl talk and pampering!

The staff at Shades is very professional. It is a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Everyone is wonderful at what they do. Magen is my very favorite. She can create or re-create a color and style for you. And if you change your mind often (like I do!) she can help you transition from short to long, dark to light, and back again :)

I love shades. Everyone is extremely nice. Everytime I want to suprise my boyfriend I send him here to get a massage. (Katie) does awesome massages and I get my hair done by Meghan and I am always pleased when I leave. I would recommend this place to anyone. They have so many different services and good prices.
