Review is based on a first time visit for an oil change. My wife and I moved within the last 6 months and I was pretty nervous on finding a new mechanic seeing as how the places around us all had mediocre if not terrible reviews. I found this place online and was basing a lot of my opinion on the google reviews. This place had the most reviews at the highest rating. Not only that, the owner responds to the reviews. The reviews were also detailed and not fabricated like other stores. You can tell because the reviews say "They were great..." and that is all, then you will see 4 or 5 of these all on the same day at the same time. If you are worried about the negative review, dont be. The individual only has negative reviews on their account. Not only that, their reviews are baseless, they use poor grammar, and most do not supply a good example of why the customer is unhappy. With that said, RAPCO was great. They got me in and out in about an hour. They offered to replace my wind shield wipers at no charge. I even goofed and bought two of the same length wipers and they simply traded me one of them for the correct size at no extra charge. The bill came and the receipt was laid out very nicely. They do what is called a "courtesy check". They looked at my fluids, lights, tires, brakes, and then let me know when inspection was up to have me come in. I was confused on why there was a 3 month window when normally I just go in the month that it is due. For me I would rather go in the month it is due so I dont feel like Im spending more money sooner than I have to. I plan on bringing in my car (which will need a lot more work done to it). I am giving them a 4 out of 5 stars only because I dont think it is fair to give 5 stars based on one visit. My next visit, if everything goes well, will be a 5 star rating/review. Thank you RAPCO for making it a comfortable experience. Question: How often does the oil filter need to be changed on a Honda CRV? My wife said the filter was changed "last time" and didnt think that it needed to be changed this time, I said otherwise. Your thoughts?

I hate getting my car serviced. I always feel like Im being taken for a ride by a shop. This wasnt the case at Rapco. After reading several positive reviews I decided to take my car here after bashing my tire into the sidewalk. You might write me off as unreliable after reading that last line but it can happen to anyone. New neighborhood, not paying attention one morning, and wham! I called and Bruce was very nice on the phone. He asked several questions about the existing tires and after giving him the dimensions of the tire I needed said, "no problem"! I was relieved to hear this because I had taken off from work to get this all sorted out. In the past Ive waited for days for a new tire. This once again was not the case at Rapco. I called at 9am, got a complete price (not just a rough estimate) and brought the car in when I wanted (11am that day). Bruce recognized me when I walked in and was helpful the whole time. The quickly fixed up my car and I was on my way. Ill be calling this place next time I need something done on my vehicle. A+

I took my car yesterday. My wife and I knew we needed a lot of work to be done, and we were a bit overwhelmed that morning. I called, and Miguel was great at easing my nerves, telling me to bring the car in right away, and keeping me constantly updated as the day went on with how my car was doing. They gave me a sense of empowerment in making decisions about my car, but also let me know when a job I recommended they do was not necessary (ex: I thought I needed an alignment, but after they made other repairs, they told me that an alignment wasnt necessary and I could go ahead and save myself the $100). It would have been easy for them to do the unnecessary repairs, but they were honest. They had the car back to me by the end of the day, which was awesome. Anyway, Im totally going back (but hopefully not too soon!) Thanks to Miguel, Steve, Joey, and everyone who made my day much better than I expected.

Bruce from rapco made my day with his amazing service. I probably had one of the worst days in a long time the day I took my husbands car to get a remote start put in after purchasing a groupon. Not only did I take it to the wrong shop (they only do remote start at the Philly location) but I accidentally readmy groupon wrong and told him I had a winterization package groupin too(which I didn't!!!). Bruce drove my vehicle to the other location for me and brought it back and then didn't make me pay for my mistake with the groupon which was probably around 100 bucks in service! He also went step by step with me over any issues and my remote start and wrote me a cheat sheet :) I love rapco and was very pleased with my service and the kindness of that family owned shop. Will be going back! :)

I had always taken my car to the dealership for service and repairs, but I happened upon Rapco Automotive a couple of years ago while driving past. After being blown away by the professionalism, respect, and expert advice I received from Bruce on a simple state inspection, I knew I had stumbled upon a truly great place. They go out of their way to provide the absolute best service possible, recommending services in order of importance and necessity, and will help break down what issues need to be addressed first for safety and what will work with your budget. Never again will I deal with arrogant, sales-based, inattentive dealerships. Ive been a customer of Rapco for a couple of years, and I look forward to many more years of great service. Rapco is the ONLY place I trust with my car.

Great Service with a Smile I work in the automotive service business for a competitor of Rapcos but we do not do exhaust work. I called them and they were able to take me in right away. When I explained what I wanted done to my new car (performance exhaust installation) they were incredibly helpful. Once they were done with the first part of they invited me to come out to check their work. The second part was new exhaust tips being welded on. They lowered the car so I could hold them exactly where I wanted them And then he tacked them on. Once I was satisfied with their placement they went ahead and finished welding them on. Fair price considering the work they completed for me in about an hour and 15 minutes. These guys are great and I highly recommend them

Today was the second time within the past year that Ive used Rapco, both instances under rather urgent circumstances. I have never had such great service! The crew is thorough, looks at the car at all levels, not just for the crisis at hand. Detailed explanations are offered without sounding condescending to those of us who havent a clue. They will offer suggestions as to what to do next and in what time frame. What a bonus to hear that as youre trying to figure out which crisis to tackle first. Done. They do it for you! And they couldnt be more polite about it. I can honestly say that Im giving up my regular mechanic of 15 years and switching to Rapco. Thanks guys for making the best of crisis situations! See you again in a few weeks!
