Just took my 1980 Jeep CJ5 to wellsboro Auto to fix a tire issue. I had never been to this repair shop before and do not live in wellsboro but have a cabin in the area. I am quite familiar with wellsboro as I have been coming here my entire life. The professional and friendly people at Wellsboro Auto are exactly what I have come to expect from this community and they quickly and expertly fixed the tire going above and beyond to remedy the situation and actually fixing a problem that should have been diagnosed by a different repair shop where I had the tires mounted originally. The professional repairman with whom I spoke was informative and friendly and everyone I encountered was wonderful. Their bill was more than reasonable and I am a happy customer. I will definitely be back for all my auto repairs (and with a 1980 Jeep, that will undoubtedly be many!).

More than 5 years of perfect service at a fair price. Absolutely honest, absolutely expert! (Told me when I DIDNT need work!) Also once diagnosed a very weird obscure motor problem & fixed it quickly. When I had to move out of state, I complained I would never find another Wellsboro Automotive" : Jeff found me a five star recommended shop near my new home and checked them out with his nationwide buddies for an excellent reference! I hope they are as great as Wellsboro Automotive.

No exactly pleased. Went in to get my breaks put on, just breaks. I was there for about half an hour, and walked out with a $70 bill. Amazed by this, I called my normal mechanic that cohldnt get me in and asked what their labor cost would have been for the exact amount of work, but this time I said 45 minutes. They told me $30. Feeling pretty ripped off considering that 30 minutes doesnt add up to a $70 bill for a rate of $80 and hour.

If there is nothing wrong with your vehicle they make things up so they can charge you. If you carry it in for a routine oil change, plan for your vehicle to acquire imaginary problems that they will fix without your consent and then charge you for. Good luck!
