I am a single woman who went to this Tires Plus location to get two tires. I am writing this to warn others about my horrible experience. I had recently (within the last month) gotten my car inspected. I was told by my regular trusted mechanic that my car was in good condition and passed inspection; but they alerted me that my rear left tire was "cupped". I was told that this was probably due to not rotating my tires often enough and I was encouraged to change it when I could. I decided to wait a few weeks to save some money. I went to Tires Plus to get two new tires and decided that I would keep the older un-cupped tire as a spare. As soon as I walked in the door, the salesman, Ed tried to sell me everything he possibly could. Before even looking at my car he wanted me to pay to get my car aligned; he tried to get me to sign up for the "rewards card" which is a fancy name for their store credit card. I declined any work and extras except for the two tires. When I received a call a few hours later, Ed told me that I needed all new shocks and struts. Suspicious because I had just gotten my car inspected, I declined the service and told him I would take it to my normal mechanic to check it out. When I returned to pick up my car and pay the bill, Ed repeatedly made comments about my decision. "So whos this amazing mechanic?" etc. He told me that my tires (he kept saying tires even though the cupping was only on one) would continue to cup until I got the shocks and struts replaced. I asked him if he could show me the parts that needed to be replaced; he said “The tires are all the proof you need”. However, I know that shock/strut in need of repair would have visible leaks; another demonstration would be to bounce the rear of the vehicle and ensure that it stops quickly because the shock absorbs the impact. I paid my bill, took my car and decided to make an appointment with my regular, trusted mechanic to check out the situation. A few days later my dad was riding in my car. He is a regular passenger in my vehicle so he knows how it usually handles (and how it handled the day before I took it to Tires Plus). He made a comment about how rough my car was handling and how hard it was taking any small irregularity in the road. My dad thought that perhaps there was too much tire pressure. Sure enough, when we checked, the front tires were properly inflated and the back tires were 40 and 42 pounds when they were supposed to be 33. My dad and I both believe that the tires were intentionally over inflated to make me believe that my rear shocks were causing the rough ride. My dad volunteered to go back to Tires Plus with me to talk to the manager. He repeatedly denied that his employees would intentionally over inflate my tires and did not seem willing to rectify the situation. I believe it was a blatant attempt to make me believe that I needed rear shocks; even if it was not, I still will not return to a tire store that tries to sell me products I dont need and cannot properly inflate a tire.

I had about the worst experience ever with this garage. A repair that should have taken a day ended up taking 3, because the tech took a day off in the middle and ordered a needed part on the slow boat from China. I found the part locally that could be gotten before the one he ordered, and the markup on what they were charging me was twice what I found it for brand new. I even called the tech on it and got a shrug and an "oh well". I missed work, spent more, waited longer and was treated like crap for the privilege. DONT EVER GO HERE. UPDATE: After finally getting my car back, my acceleration is now on par with a geriatric snail, and I can barely reach highway speeds. I have no idea how installing a brand new clutch would do this, be it sabotage or ignorance, I will be making sure that this is corrected. Once again, NEVER EVER GO HERE. UPDATE: I found out the problem after some extensive troubleshooting. One of the ends of a vacuum hose had been unplugged. I plugged it back in and problem solved. They must not have even turned it on after they finished. There was an obvious check engine light, no power, no acceleration, braking assist was gone and the car sounded like it stalled whenever it was turned off. You would think any mechanic would recognize these signs, especially the check engine light.

Everytime I go there they take my money and lie about the reason behind it. They lied to me and said my engine sensors needed replaced when it turns out it was just a wiring problem in my new head unit. But what they did today takes the cake. After telling them multiple times that I needed new front tires they went ahead and replaced all 4. Two of the tires were brand new. Also they "looked at" my breaks and when they did they messed up something now when I step on the break it sounds like Im running over cats. Oh and to top it all off they put down my drivers side window so the "technician" if you can even call him that could talk to another employee. The thing is my drivers side window does not work so when he tried to put it back up it only came halfway. Now youd think they would be concerned about this since it was raining but after a few attempts to pull it back up he looked at me and said "looks like thats all we can do" and left me out in the rain with a window that only comes up halfway.

We took a company van to Tires Plus for a front end alignment. They diagnosed the van that it need tie rod ends. Proposed $673.00 in repairs. I ask if the tie rod ends were changed would that fix the problem and then have the front end alignment. He said Yes, and gave me a written diagnosis. I paid $23.00 for the diagnosis. Changed the tie rod ends myself. Returned the van to Tires Plus for alignment. He gives me another diagnosis with over &1,800.00 repairs needed. Same van!! In a week! I took it to Firestone. They diagnosis something totally different. I did the repairs and took it back and had the front end alignment. Everything is good now. A friend told me Tires Plus was under investigation by the States Attorney Office. I called them. Sure enough, hundreds of complaints!!

My first experience with this company was pretty good. I was able to get 2 new tires in the front on in about 40 minutes without any notice. My second experience. Called up to get a spring for inside my steering wheel. I was never called back when they said they would call back. - Strike 1 My third experience. I personally called the counter to schedule a date to drop my vehicle off to get work done to it. Supposedly I wasnt in for a appointment today. They blamed the lack of communication on the new computer system. They also want to charge me a $29.95 Diagnostics fee. They better dock the fee off or thats the last time I go to Tires plus and right a article on all social media networks.
