Used this service for my recent move on the recommendation of a friend. This was my first experience with a professional moving company, so I wasnt sure what to expect. I called for details and an estimate and received a call back within the hour. I called three days before the move to double-check/confirm everything and received a call back within three hours (it was a Sunday, so I was a bit pleasantly surprised). The rate I was given (hourly + per-stop fee, I was consolidating multiple households) was competitive, and no surprise charges or undisclosed fees at the end. The crew was on time, polite, friendly, and efficient; I enjoyed their company! They were reasonably careful with my things. A few things got a minor scuff or scratch, but nothing was broken as far as Ive found. To be clear, I did not use their packing services, and a lot of the boxes were cheap, old, or poorly packed (by me, 10+ years ago), and a lot of the furniture was already pretty old and beat up. Thanks *were* very careful with the few things that I specifically asked them to be careful with. If they had packed me, Im sure the boxes would have been significantly easier to handle, stack, etc; maybe Ill see about their packing services in the future. This was my first time hiring movers, so I dont have any basis for my expectations. That said, this experience was a little more like a small-business feel and less like a professional, well-oiled operation. That said, I feel like I got a reasonable price and the same results that I would have expected from a large nationwide franchise, and with much friendlier service than I expected. I would use their services again. Thanks guys!

I recently hired these guys to move me from my 2 bedroom apartment to my new house. They showed up 2 hours late and with three guys instead of the two that I hired. They convinced me that having the extra guy would expedite things, but man, were they wrong. After a while, it seemed like they just kept hanging out at the truck and not coming back up to the apartment to get things. I finally went down to see what was going on, and all three were taking a smoke break at the same time. Really? At $95 an hour, I would expect at least one guy to be doing something towards getting my things moved. Four hours later, we finally made it to the house with the stuff. They did not offer to put the beds together, so I had to do that when they left. When I finally got in touch with the owner after numerous calls to him, he stated that he agreed things were not done properly. However, he only offered me a 25% discount on my NEXT move. Seriously? I just bought a house. I doubt Ill be moving for quite some time. And why would I use you guys again when I had such poor service? I should have used Two Men and a Truck like I had in the past. Two of their guys were more efficient than three of the guys with this company. I would highly recommend NOT using this company.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I am not one to post reviews but I felt the need to after today. The owner promised me a Saturday move time from 8 to 9am. I purchased this as a present for my girl friend as a gift to eliminate stress but boy did this back fire. At 9am I called and no one answered so I left a message. I called every 30 to 45 minutes to see if they were coming leaving several messages just asking please to call me back so I can make other arrangements if needed. One time the owner accidentally answered the phone and then hung up. Finally at 1030am he calls me back and says his crew did not show up and was angry with me cause I left a nasty voice mail after the 5th call to him. I prepaid this so I am unsure if I will even get my money back but that is not the point. I looked like a complete fool in front of my girl friend and her mom cause Phillip "the Owner" IS A CLOWN!!! Finally after calling 4 other movers explaining my story which they all heard no showing happens often with this company. I was able to rent a truck and get some guys to help out hours later. AGAIN DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

Not a good experience with the owner. The team of 4 movers worked hard and were pretty good guys. However; they left several items at the old house and had promised it was empty. We had 4 large SUV truckloads left to move included a large mattress set. When we contacted the owner he denied the idea that items were left at the house and stated there was no way his guys would have abandoned furniture. He refused to pick up the remainder of what they left and more or less told me I was lying to him and wanted to charge me over $200 in additional to the $1200 already paid. Not a fair business trade and they also ruined a $3000 couch which he only gave us a credit of $100 for. Overall, dishonest and unreliable.

The guys were 1-2 hours late (since they gave me a one hour window to arrive), and they wern t very careful. They did work hard and, they did charge me fairly. However, they sent three guys instead of the four we agreed upon, and they lost two essential pieces of hardware for assembling my bed frame. They were irreplacable and I had to go buy brackets and spend one hour (me and my wife both) rigging up the bed so that we wouldn t have to junk it. The owner was not much help until he noticed my negative reviews. He did accomodate me for my time in rigging the bed. He explained that my bed parts had been left on a truck that went to WV. He also sent a gift to try to make up for the negative experience.

I have used this company twice and have not been disappointed. They arrived on time or a little early, were diligent, respectful and professional, and very friendly. The prices are very fair considering the work these guys do. Also, we were supposed to have a crew of three guys helping with our latest move a couple of weeks ago, but only two arrived. The owner adjusted the price per hour for us since the move lasted a lot longer than anticipated. This way, we didnt have to shell out a bunch more money because one worker did not show as expected. It was very honest and appreciated. I highly recommend these guys!!

This place does not come with a recommendation from me. I made an appointment for a move about 3 weeks out. Called three days prior to reconfirm. On the day of the scheduled move they were supposed to be there between 8-10a. 10 oclock goes buy with no moving team. I call Phil and cant get in touch with him. Call the Main number and someone is covering the phones. She said she has no clue where the crew is and cannot get in touch with them. Tells me she doesnt know what to tell me. Mind you... I sold my home and need to be out by the evening. Called about 10 times. No answer, no call back! Such a total disaster!
