Outstanding! Exceptional! Fantastic! These are just a few words that I can use to describe the incredible experience my fiancé and I had with our realtor Luis Bordon at ChuckTown Homes. I would like to express my immense gratitude for the stellar service I received and also thank Luis for making one of our lifelong dreams come true. Before meeting Luis, we were actually thinking about giving up our search for a new home. We began our search with another realty company (that shall remain nameless) and had a horrible experience. The realtor was cold, impersonal, and was obviously trying to make a quick sale. We are first time homebuyers and the agent never really went through the home buying process or explained anything. She never even asked my fiancé or myself what we did for a living or how we would be using the space. It was clear that all she saw was dollar signs and could really care less if we got the home we really wanted and needed. After we finally cut ties with this realtor, we were so stressed out with our house search, we were just going to give up. Then we met Luis Bordon, who was actually referred to my fiancé’s mother by one of her friends. Meeting Luis was like a breath of fresh air! From the start, Luis let us know that he would be there for us to answer our questions and help us find exactly what we need. There was no pressure as he showed us various homes and let us decide for ourselves what we really wanted. He was patient and listened to our concerns as we were very apprehensive and reluctant to trust another real estate agent. However, working with Luis was easy and stress-free! He also put us in touch with several other wonderful professionals that made the home buying process effortless. My fiance and I would like to give a huge “thank you” to our home inspector Bobby Schmutzler from Cardinal Home Inspection, our number crunching broker Travis Howard of Midland Mortgage Corporation, and the awesome staff at McCants Law Firm who handled our closing. Once again, I would like to give Luis Bordon at ChuckTown Homes a HUGE “thank you” for making our dreams come true! We are loving our new home and our new neighborhood; we’re looking forward to enjoying our home for many years to come!

It is with gratitude that I write these comments about our experience working with Shawn Pillion. From the moment that Shawn made first contact with me, I knew that he was going to make things happen and happen fast. He IS one of those people. Mark and I sought Shawns help as we were at a crossroad where we were going to make a final decision on a real estate property and I thought we needed more consultation and guidance on the transaction from a real estate agent. I was advised by the sellers agent not to seek the advise of a buyers agent. Well, using my better judgment, I reached out for help and luckily Shawn was available through Dave Ramseys endorsed local providers channel. After beginning my home search in the Charleston area with a realtor whom only wanted to show me homes when it was convenient for him, I became very frustrated. That’s when I stumbled upon Luis Bordon with ChuckTown Homes and I could NOT have been any more pleased! Luis was OUTSTANDING throughout the entire process! He took me to see houses the day after I called him and he had taken it upon himself to set up a bunch of showings of homes that fit my want list! All the while, his family was in the car on their way out of town. He was EXTREMELY patient! It just so happens that one of the houses he had set up for me to see, was the one I fell in love with! Knowing this market, I knew I needed to act quickly and was nervous that with he and his family heading out of town that he would not be available to get the offer put in quick enough. Recently, Jeremy Wilson and his team help us sell a house in the Charleston, SC area. We live out of state and flew in to hire an agent and met with Jeremy. He was prepared with comparables to help us decide on a price. He also surveyed the house to help us determine a plan of action to make the house market and move in ready. He promised us he would find and follow up with a contractor to get the work done since we lived on the other side of the country and couldnt do it very easily ourselves. He did just that. He also was in touch with us every few days with updates and pictures so we felt as if we were there making sure the work was done ourselves. The work was done extremely well. Once the house finished it was listed in the planned time frame. The house was sold the day it went on the market for full price. We were sent all of the paperwork through secure emails and signed and handled everything from our home thanks to Jeremy and his team. Jeremy was professional in all the business aspects of this sale, yet very friendly and personable in dealing with us. I am moving from Westerville, Ohio to Mt. Pleasant SC. Such a move can contain many pitfalls and frustrations...as I am here, but for when my son and I were there to see the home I purchased. My agent is a true angel disguised as Andrea Parler. Andrea went far beyond any expectations. Dealing with all the nonsense of utility companies etc...but for Andrea That would have been a true disaster. She went to my new home to check on all utilities, deal with what needed to be done etc. My current home is lovely and I was in tears wondering if I could replicate such décor success and live through the move. Andrea called me after hours and did so out of concern for me. and my well being. I have moved from West Coast to east and elsewhere....not my first rodeo. never HAVE MET AS CARING AND COMPETENT AGENT AS ANDREA PARLER.. I will arrive at my new home 8/1. It has been a long standing (20+) years to live where I love as I love Charleston and Mt. Pleasant. Andrea helped my dream come true. I cannot give her enough kudos. If more people were as kind, caring and understanding, supportive as Andrea, the world would be a much better place. I will never be able to thank her adequately.
