I went with my son. An older hair stylist cut mine, while a younger girl cut my sons. My stylist seemed like she was explaining everything she was doing as if trying to justify it. When she was done and I stood up... It was awful! A simple fade, # 2 on the sides. There was a patch of hair here there. I walked out to my car, and my wife would not let me in looking like that! I promptly went back in and asked her to fix it. She apologized for giving me "an old man haircut" (her words.) she fixed it up...ok... Still had a line where my hair layered, but I didnt want her touching my head again. On to my son: the younger stylist could not figure out how to cut his bangs, blaming it on his head... I told her that I preferred his bangs to be a little uneven or jagged as opposed to looking like Lloyd Christmas. She did not know how to do a simple point-cut and needed to ask for assistance from the experienced stylist who quickly showed her how to angle the scissors. She fixed his hair, but I will never ever EVER let them butcher our hair again. Period.

My fiancé and I went here last night and it was the worst experience weve ever had! When we first got there they acted like it was a huge hassle to do one at a time since we had our 11 month old child with us. And I asked for a simple fade, all she had to do was follow the guidelines from my last haircut (which was at belk and was amazing!) I asked for her to square my fade, she rounded it. She cut the top way to short after I told her not a lot off the top. And then my girl got her hair cut and only wanted the dead ends cut and ended up getting layers as well, and the lady gapped the back and the layers were zig zagged everywhere. It was a terrible experice. The girl that cut our hairs name was Taylor! My girl called and complained and all they could offer us was a free hair cut... Nobody wants to go back considering we hated it the first time! I would not recommend this place to anyone!

Figured I would give this place a try, since I couldnt arrange an appointment with my normal hair stylist. I was a little worried at first because it appeared to be so commercialized, but it surprisingly turned out to be a pleasant experience! My stylists name was Taylor, I have to admit she was rather cute which made me a little nervous at first but she turned out to be very polite, professional, and easy to talk to. I was concerned since she had never cut my hair before but that she may not understand what I was wanting done. As she started cutting I quickly realized though, that I wasnt just another customer, but instead she actually cared about what she was doing. The result of this visit was the best fade Ive ever gotten! I definitely plan on returning soon and hope Im lucky enough to get my new friend Taylor again.

Ive been going to this location for about two years now. Ive had Kym, Ive had Melissa, Ive had Taylor and Ive had Melody. Kym and Melissa give the best scalp massages but all of the stylists Ive mentioned have continued to provide an exceptional experience to my hair. As long as I live here, in Horry county, I will never go anywhere else. Thank you so much to the stylists at sports clips who have made me feel confident in the way I look due to their talents.

We are from out of town and needed to get my sons hait cut. Taylor had great reviews and our hotel recommended sports clips. We did not make an appointment so we were happy she was available. She took us right back. I explained how we wanted his hair cut and showed her a pic. She was very profesional and friendly. She did a fantastic job!!! His hair is exactly how we wanted it!! I highly recommend Taylor!!!

DO NOT GO HERE! My stylist was definitely off some prescription medication and jacked my head up. No matter what do not go to this sports clips ever. I had to go to another hair place so that they could try and salvage what was left. I asked for a high fade with the sides blended in and got a buzz cut sides with a gap in the top. I REPEAT DO NOT GO HERE. I would have goven 0 stars if possible.

Ill never go back paid 20 for hair cut... Ok not bad bout the same everywhere but get home after and one side was a good inch longer than the other. Had to go somewhere else and pay 20 to have it fixed lady was nice and the did have others waiting but Ill never go back and Ill never tell anyone to go there!

Great experience with Taylor. I have been going to see her for over a year and have never have a bad haircut or unpleasant experience. She is very easy to talk to and truly cares about my satisfaction as a customer. I have recommended her to my friends and would recommend her to anyone reading this.

BAD! I wasnt paying attention at first as the stylist seemed to be a lead employee. She was given direction and advice to the others. When I got home and really saw it in the mirror, it was bad. Had to use my own clippers to even it out. Ill never return, its not worth the wait or price.

Its always 50/50 with me getting my haircut here depending who cuts my hair. Theres days where they did a great job and then theres days where is really bad. I will never forget when one of them just shaved my hair completely off when I wanted my bangs in the front.

I go there every two weeks to see Taylor. She is always friendly and listens to what I want. She is the only.person there I see but everyone is friendly. I would recommend seeing Taylor next time you need your hair done.
