After going to a dozen or so different barbershops and salons in the Raleigh/Cary area over the years, I finally found a place with good, consistent service. Ive been coming here to get my haircut from Mrs Jennifer for at least 5 years now, and Ive found that she gives me exactly what Im looking for. Like another reviewer on here, Mrs. Jennifer has reopened her business for me when I showed up at closing time for a walk-in appointment. Also when I call and they are closed, she will return my calls from her private line to promptly schedule an appointment. Im sure Ill be coming here for years.

It took a few times to get the style I wanted, but when Mrs. Jenny got a feel for what I wanted ,Its almost perfect every time now. I have been a customer of many different chains and walked away with horrid haircuts, this is not the case for Family Hair Care. Like any family business they value in talking to you and making sure you are satisfied with your haircut. Now for the downside, I do have to wait for Mrs. Jenny sometimes because she is so popular, but its not bad for a walk-in place with only one stylist. I greatly appreciate it, Thanks for the Cut!

I got there when Ms. Jennifer was literally locking the door to go home. She re-opened and I told her not to worry, Id return tomorrow. She graciously let me in and I told her my accompanying daughter needed a whole new look. She found a picture my daughter liked and worked meticulously, not rushing because she wanted to go home. The cut was fantastic, the price was great and Ms. Jennifer showed real integrity, doing a great job when I know shed rather have gone home. I will definitely be a repeat customer!

I took my 7yr old daughter here to just get a basic wash, straighten and trim of her super-long, super-curly hair after going to a place in the mall that cut her hair uneven. Jennifer was the only person working, there was no wait, and after about an hour my daughter and I walked out incredibly happy. My daughters hair is softer than it EVER has been, and to use her words: "It feels like a cloud". I will definitely be taking my daughter here for her weekly wash and an occasional straightening treat.

A fair haircut...shorter than I asked for...but the biggest issue that I had was that she "white walled" my hair 1/3 inch above my ear(a little less on my right ear). NOT the cheapest cut in Cary by far. Charges are similar to the basic Sports Clips cuts. They were very friendly and for this reason alone I may give them 1 more chance sometime. But know, before you get there, that you wont be saving money. I would have liked to have rated higher.

After visiting Family Haircare and getting a top-notch budget-friendly haircut, I will never go to Great Clips or Sport Cuts again! This little establishment is tucked away in a nondescript shopping center and is easy to miss, but the stylists really take care of their customers and go the extra mile to give you a quality cut for an unbeatable price. Best of all, they are open on the weekends and walk-ins are welcome!

Our family used Family HairCare for last couple years since we moved to the area from NJ in 2008. We are happy with the services. They are appreciated our business so we are to them. They offered a free service for me when I lost my job with a good haircut for a job interview. I am working out of state but each came home for family and visited them for haircut. John

went there 3 times, first was good, second was ok third was terrible... never went back. PS - if you go there dont let the asian lady/owner cut your hair, she is the one who destroyed mine.
