All my life I have been empty. The doctors could not tell me why I was so depressed, and I never knew myself until today. Travelers Rest Auto Repair has filled the void in my life. I knew as soon as I hit the truck with my truck that this was what I had been missing. I flew through the air in slow motion, tongue flying around, hitting the edge of Travelers Rest and rebounding back, landing on (and falling through) the roof of a house. I could not get out, but that did not matter. I was treated with the ability to look down into the house beneath me, seeing the unsuspecting people casually sitting at their computers, oblivious to the sheer terror of the truck above them. I didnt think it could get any better than this. I was wrong. As I jumped and screamed my way around the shop, leaving a path of destruction in my wake, I happened upon a golden statue. Curiosity overtook me and I resisted the urge to grab it no longer. My life as a customer changed completely. I had a jetpack. I knew that this was meant to be, and what my mission from the Great Coffee Stain in the sky was. I was granted the super power of being able to lift people and cars with my mind. I could survive any impact. I could slow down time with mere thought. Now I could fly. It was time for world domination. Humanity had to be silenced so that the new overlord could reign supreme. All the humans are dead or enslaved. I have won. I am the one, the one is me. One hell of a ride. It is your duty as a human to get your car fixed here, so that you may truly know your car. This is your weapon against the lemons. Be prepared, for the lemons are coming to get us. 10/10 recommend.

Best repair shop in Greenville!! I am kind of apprehensive about writing this review as I dont want them to get too busy and lose that "small shop" feel lol. But I have tried a LOT of mechanics in the Greenville area and most either cannot diagnose a problem correctly or if they can and are good, they fail to communicate well with the customer. What do I love about TR Auto Repair? Namely, Robert and John (owners) are great... they excel at customer service, always going out of their way above and beyond to make the customer happy. They do excellent work and check into things and call me when they are supposed to to keep me in the loop. I simply cannot say enough good things about these guys! One quick example... I had a humming/buzzing noise when going down the highway around 70 mph in my Suburban. I had taken it to a few other mechanics but they recommended alignment and such (even though I had already had that done). Nothing would fix the problem. I brought my Suburban to TR Auto Repair and they diagnosed it as being my transfer case. I had them go ahead and replace it and have had zero issues since! These guys know what they are talking about. As a side note, they are about to replace my complete engine thats how much I trust them. Keep up the good work guys!

I had broke down in the middle of the night traveling and I had no idea where to be towed, the tow truck driver said Travelers Rest is new but they where really my only option. I slept in my car, when they opened in the morning he looked at my car told me what was wrong. To my surprise it was not as expensive as I thought it would be, and he said he would get right on it. The owner was very courteous and understood my situation. Completion was done in a timely matter and I was back on the road before I knew it. I highly recommend them. Did I mention it was a Volvo and it has been worked on before so I knew what I was in for when it came to cost of parts and labor. Thanks again for helping out a wayward traveler that could have easily been gouged.

I have found TR auto repair staffed by very friendly and decent people, and speedy, cheap, and honest in their work and recommendations. They go out of their way to try to explain to me whats going with my car, without making me feel stupid, even though I am clueless about cars. I would recommend them to anybody. The waiting area is clean and comfortable as well. Another upside is that its in TR, a great place to be. While you wait for your repair, why not stroll down the street for a crepe and coffee at Tandem? Or think about the pizza youre going to eat later at Sidewall. Or contemplate your next lunch at Williams Hardware. Or just gaze off towards the mountains.

My sons 2002 Honda Civic overheated and was brought in via tow truck to Travelers Rest Auto Repair. I did not realize how fortunate we were until the next day, when Josh and I spoke. I am located in GA and my son works in NC. Having your car break down in the state in between is not the best scenario. I could have been told anything was wrong with the car and been charged a large amount of money. The team at Travelers Rest Auto Repair diagnosed the issue and it turned out to be minor. They made the repairs quickly and at a very fair price. What a blessing to my family and they strengthened my faith that there are still honest people out there in the world.

My good friend and coworker, Steve Waddell told me about Travelers Rest Auto Repair and the great experience he had with the shop so I tried them. My experience was exactly like Steves - GREAT!!! The guys who own the shop and work there are very nice to work with and VERY good at what they do. Ive had oil/filter changes, tire rotation and balance, and 40,000 and 50,000 mile checkups and every time the work has been done in a timely fashion to my complete satisfaction AND for less cost than I have ever experienced with any other shop before. I highly recommend Travelers Rest Auto Repair.

Really great service. I took my truck in a few months ago for a new water pump and the guys really went above and beyond. Took my girlfriends jeep in this past week, the guys test drove it, pulled out the shield under the engine, and couldnt recreate the issue. I know it took them at least an hour and they didnt charge us a penny, and refused the tip we tried to give them. They even stayed after hours so we could pick the vehicle up after work. One of the most important things to look for in any mechanic/auto shop, is integrity and honesty. These guys have it. Go here, you will not regret it.

The guys at TR Auto Repair were awesome. They took my truck at last minutes notice, they were extremely helpful, listened to everything I wanted to say about my truck, and, even though they were SLAMMED busy, they got my truck back to me faster than I even thought they would. Another great thing was that they kept me in the loop for every step. By FAR, going to TR Auto was the BEST experience Ive ever had in going to an auto place. The shop itself doesnt look like much from the road, but dont be fooled; BEST PLACE EVER. I HIGHLY recommend.
