Stupid service. Dropped car off At 830am called at 12pm they still havent looked at my car. I call back at 130p when my break comes and they STILL HAVE NOT looked at my car they said they were planning to run a dye pack when the mechanic comes back from break. I told them that I am coming to get the car and taking it elsewhere, so I walk my happy ass in the heat from cookout to firestone which maybe a half a mile/mile. When I get to firestone the same guy told me that the mechanic has the dye in it now and it is running to find the leak. I asked why he didnt tell me that on the phone he said that he is sorry he gave me the wrong information. I told him that this is fucked up and I have to walk back to work in the heat, as i walk to the door he says I can get u a ride, I was already out the door at this point. He calls me at 4p tells me its a 3,875$ job or 2500$ if they do it a different way. I told him that I could buy a brand new motor for 2000$ he said yea I was going to suggest that but u just wanted the oil leak checked so I didnt suggest that.. on my invoice there was a different price all together for 1900 where parts were 200 and labour 1700$.. they over charge and have shitty service made me pay for the 44 for checking after he told me he wave it if I came and got it to take it elsewhere ... terrible...

Sad thing is car dealerships, firestone, goodyear, and these corporations mainly have young guys 18 - 28 working there. The reason for that is car mechanics do NOT make money. They get paid only a certain amount of time per job on a car, and even if the job takes hours longer than the book says to pay a mechanic, that is all the mechanic is going to get paid. If the book says two hours, and it takes him 5 hours, he is working for free for 3 hours.. These places train people on your vehicle too. They bring in someone off the streets who does not even know how to change a tire or oil, and they learn off your vehicle. I seen it. I worked firestone for ten years, and 3 different car dealerships on one year, and its all the same. I now work at a factory and make 3 times more money working less hours, and stress free. You get mechanics there who dont know what they are doing, or dont know what to do. I seen it... Or they sabatoge the other guys work because two guys are mad at eachother. I seen it.. I been there.. Now firestone will take care of their customers before they would their employees.... Ten years working there. Seen it all

I would never recommend this place to anybody. I went to their location for routine tire maintenance and was told by their technician that the bearings in my wheel needed to be replaced, a price of $300. I asked how urgent this work was and they told me that the bearing could break any day and that I should have it replaced within the week. So, I went ahead and opted for the repair. They didnt have the part on hand and had to order it. So, I was asked to come back the next day when they would have the part available. I came back the next day at the given time and they didnt have the part available. I had to wait 2 hours before they drove down to the corner parts shop and bought the part from them. A little while later, the technician informed me that they didnt have the tools necessary to install the new part. So, my time was wasted. I took a return and took the car to a dealership where I told them to make the same repair. The technicians at the dealership informed me quite promptly that there was absolutely nothing wrong with the bearings. 6000 miles later, my bearings are still going. Dont go there!

Todays experience. Took car and dropped off to get tires rotated, balanced and alignment. They call and try to sell the lady two tires. I got on the phone and asked why she needed tires, they said she was at 3/32. I said tires are good to 2/32 right they said yes. Then i asked if alignment was done, they said they wouldnt do an alignment til two tires were bought, i asked what does tires and alignment have to do with each other, esp when i have th lietime alignment package. Then when i get the car home i noticed an oil burnin smell come to look they changed the oil that wasnt requested, esp after i just changed the oil with high end filter and synthetic oil. No one use this place, they will mess your car up and ladies they will try to sell you services not needed. Not a trustworthy business. **UPDATE** I sent an email to the owners response as requested. I got an email reply back. The reply said I would receive a phone call and it did not happen. So the reply on here was for PR reasons as it appears to me.

Dropped my car off at 9 am to check a oil leak, waited till 12 to call asked if they looked at it, they had not so 1pm comes I go on lunch break and they still hadnt looked at it so I twll them imma juat take it elsewhere, walk there from my work a few blocks over and they said i cant take it now becuase they are ganna look at it right now... ugh fine, walk back to work in the heat wasted my break, call me at 4 with the news, claiming its a bad leak and will cost 4000$ to replace but they have a low cost method that would only be 2500$, so I call my boyfriend with the news he tells me to get a invoice that dont sound right, so after work pick up the car and the invoice says 1900$ to fix 200$ in parts and 1700$ in labor!!!!! They said its a 6 hour fix thats almost 300$ a hour... poor service, they will try to take advantage of you and scam you lie to you and waste your time and money, stay far far away!@!@!@!

i had to drop my car off their because it was sputtering and i was stuck in Anderson without tools. After they changed the filler neck, they told me that it was good to go. i made it about 100 miles on my way home and ended up sputtering and stopping the whole way back home. What usually takes 7 hours to get there took around 10 hours. I ended up figuring it out and changed the fuel pump myself. The worst part was that they charged me $100 an hour for labor. ive never been charged that much for labor. Ive been charged $80 at the most. I also have a friend that went through the same problem. She went to get her brakes changed and after they finished, they squeaked every time she stopped.

I went there to have a tire that had a nail in it patched. We waited for an hour and half only to have the repair guy come and tell me he couldnt repair the tire and that I would have to buy a new one for $140 because the tire had been patched in a different spot previously. He showed me the spot that looked more like a tiny defect in the tire and not a patch. I bought this car brand new from the dealer and have never had that or any of my tires patched before. I will never return to this shady place and would recommend that no one else does either. I went to a tire shop down the road and they fixed the tire in less than 5 mins and didnt even charge me for it!
