HORRIBLE, Horrible customer service, disrespectful and rude. I am a disabled veteran and i rent from this company because of how the old staff treated me. i send my rent in through the mail or either in person. Since day one i have NEVER been late on any payment, for the month of December my wife decided to mail it off like usual due to baby appointments and work. They claimed they never recieved the cashiers check, they didnt call to notify we were late or anything of that sort. My wife spoke in person about a late fee they charged us for the mail services losing our check. we were able to cancel the check and give them the payment but my wife was asked why didnt you check your account to see if a cashiers check had posted???? impossible! casheirs checks are instant money from a persons account that instant and can only be cashed by the recipient. They didnt notice we were never late but said the fee stands and we have to pay it, though its not my fault that the mail service lost mail in transit. They are slow to give updates and reply back, but will charge you in a moments notice saying its not their responsibility to notify the rentor of late rent, but can notify the home owner and post it to the online account. THIS IS THE ONLY PLACE IVE EVER RENTED FROM THAT WILL NOT COMMUNICATE WITH THE TENANTS! THERE EXCUSE WAS THAT THEY HAVE 100s OF OTHER PROPERTIES!!! I can see a future court date !!!

I only wish I could give them negative stars. Unfortunately 1 is the lowest you can go but they dont even deserve that. I would never recommend anyone to this place. They dont care about the people the serve and are extremely rude and disrespectful. They sent us a letter dated on the 19th but didnt mail it until the 22nd saying they sold the house we were renting and the we had 30 days to move out. I called and explained to them that I would be out of town and couldnt do that as my wife is in a wheel chair and cant possibly move the house by herself. They basically said that wasnt their problem and we had to figure it out. They did say that we could use our deposit for the rent so that we could put deposits down on another house but seeing as we didnt get finished and out in 3 weeks they werent letting us do that now and want to charge us late fees on top of it. This is ridiculous seeing as it isnt our fault and they didnt even tell us that the house was up for sale. We only found out because a realtor showed up at our door one Saturday morning want g ro show the house to a client. Complete crap what these people did to my family and then want to be rude and try and bully us. Stay far away from this place. It is not worth the headaches and Hassel.

Solie and Ruby Vega are GREAT realtors. Theyd helped us to look for a house for 4 months. We have nothing to complain about their customer service because they are very HONEST, HELPFUL, INFORMATIVE, KNOWLEDGEABLE, and DILIGENT. They kept communication with us since our first contact and they followed up after that frequently. Because of my job, Im only available on weekends. However, Solie and Ruby spent their weekends with us to show the houses we wanted to see. Solie is a detailed realtor. She takes care all my paperwork very carefully and in timely manner. They never pushed us or tried to sell any house. They always give us their recommendation, pros and cons, and their ideas about the locations or houses that we want to know. Finally, we found a house that all of our family members love it. I do not know anything about other employees in the office but Solie and Ruby are GREAT persons. They made my move smoothly and easily. Thank you Solie and Ruby for all you have done for us.

Two stars, only because during our time there any service call was answered promptly. It wasnt until we moved out that the issues started. We moved out over 2 months ago and havent gotten excuse after excuse after excuse why our deposit refund hasnt been returned. At first I was understanding because of the holidays, but now they keep blaming the post office. Whats sad is if I was 5 days late getting them their money I would be paying late fees. Not them, not even so much as an apology. Edit: After this posting I was contacted by "Mary". Unhelpful. Wanted to know my issue, explained, and got the same ol "its in the mail" response. When I asked when it was put in the mail, I couldnt get an answer, then got told "with all due respect, have a nice day" and got hung up on. Sorry but saying "with all due respect" doesnt give you the right to hang up on me. You called me, not vice versa.

Horrible doing business with this company. I wouldnt recommend them to my worst enemy. These people are just out to make a dollar they arent worried about you. I would advice you to go somewhere else. Try Keller Williams Realty, especially if your buying your first home. Once ERA knows your a first time home buyer they take full advantage of that and you end up paying a lot for very little. I bought a home and the agent lied to me on the phone saying that the seller didnt take things from the home. I then contacted ERA and asked for the sellers info so that I can take them to court the lady ignored my calls. My family was suppose to also receive a lowes gift card but once she learned that we were unhappy with her services she quit answering our calls...

Larry Chappell is an awful person to deal with and a bad man that does bad business. He takes advantage of you. He ignored our requests and our efforts to communicate. He made empty threats, when we ultimately decided to go with a different agent with a different company. Do your research and interview your realtor before choosing to use them. You WILL find there are many more individuals more qualified and helpful than ERA Chappell & Associates. Save yourself a huge headache and look elsewhere for a realtor.

This place is HORRIBLE!!! I dont usually write a review but CHAPELL ASSOC. Is not a good rental property to be dealing with. They dont even deserve a star. I can write a whole page on why this company should not even exist. As I read through all the negative comments.... They are absolutely right. I would HIGHLY NOT RECOMMEND them to anybody..... Terrible customer service and they will do whatever they can to take your money. Please dont waste your time with this company. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE.

This has been the worst place to deal with. I have been getting the run around for 2 weeks about a place that they say I was a[[roved for only now to tell me the hold up is not being able to contact my last landlord. My question is what happens if the cant ever get in touch with her and at what point do you have to go through all of this with a section 8 voucher.SMH . the worst and they never returned my phone call I had to go there in order to get this information.
