Please please please, read all of these reviews. You wont even make it to the end without seeing a good one. We rented with this company for 2 years and it was the worst 2 years of our lives. I would never even consider buying through this company because of how unprofessional this office is with rentals. We moved into our rental in Feb of 15 with a 1 month old baby. Just moved here from upstate New York. I wish our realtor friend would of told us how bad this company is. We saw the house in the middle of an ice storm and didnt realize the condition how bad it was. The deck was rotting away ( but we couldnt tell under ice and snow) and had nails sticking out of it which my mother nailed down so my daughter wouldnt cut her feet when she would go out in her walker. A few months later we, were sitting out in the sun enjoying the weather and the deck completely collapsed with me and my 1 year old on it and a nail went through my foot. My husband called the rental company right away to notify them and we didnt hear anything back. This was on a Saturday. Monday no one called, so he called and the receptionist Lauri only said " what do you want me to do about that?" yep! that is what she said! I couldnt believe it! It wasnt until we took pictures and demanded a manager call us back that everyone was deeply apologetic for what happened and that their maintenance had said this deck wasnt built up to code and wasnt surprised at what had happened. I was sickened not only that berkhire Hathaway didnt keep up to date tabs on the owners when something is a death trap .. but how they talked to us from the get go of this situation. We should of sued. But we dont believe in being bad people. After that our garage door broke. It got frozen stuck in September. It took 3 months of emails and phone calls to get someone to come fix it! all these work orders put In and no one fixed it. Huge cracks in the door jams. This place dosnt care about the condition of homes they rent and they dont care to fix anything either. I understand the owners have to pay for it.. but we had key locks on top of our doors instead of bolt action turn handles. Its a illegal and a fire hazard. We complained for months. Never fixed the problem... and then they will charge you for stupid stuff that should be the owners problem.. like a toilet that was coming loose. My husband went to go get our deposit back after a month and they never gave him a bill because " they forgot" but had no problem emailing it to us because they knew he was going to rip them a new one. Dont rent with these people! they dont care and just want their cut! they dont take care of their properties and there staff is so rude! BEWARE!!! I have emails and pictures as proof!!!

PLEASE DONT USE THIS COMPANY. I wish I saw these before we rented, they are absolutely horrible. My husband and I cant wait to be out of our lease with them. Every time we pay the rent and tell them there is something that needs fixing on our rental home we get MAJOR attitude. There were dirt marks and stains on walls, outlets, doors, moldings, and cabinets. They didnt even bother painting behind toilets, between light fixtures and mirrors, and other places so we can see the old colors of the home. The oven was stained as was the stove top. We barely have any carpet in the home, yet we still have to pay the $200 carpet cleaning fee. We marked "normal wear and tear" on everything where there were dings and marks and took pictures as well. We have a sickening feeling we are going to have a problem getting any of our security deposit back! We are very careful not to cause damages in the house besides what would be considered "lived in" (such as a scratch on hard wood floors). DOCUMENT EVERYTHING AND CALL FOR EVERYTHING SO ITS ON RECORD! The best is when we were signing the lease we heard the women and the male manager there bad mouthing customers (more than four or five) and laughing when the customer had voiced their frustrations. The home is pet friendly, but they gave us a hard time about our adopted dog. We called saying we were looking to foster ONE dog for TEN DAYS ONLY and it was as if we were asking to set our home on fire. They said they wanted to charge us $100, which is the YEARLY fee for a second pet. They also were grilling us about if this would be a "one time deal because we have better things to be concerned about and dont want dogs in the home." Our home is PET FRIENDLY and we were asking about one dog for at most 10 days. Since I dont work at the moment, the dog wouldnt ever be unsupervised. We get hung up on constantly once we say "ok I think thats it!". We informed them that the house has a cheap paint job and where the sun hits is peeling and they laughed and said they needed pictures because they think we damaged the home. Some rules and regulations are very common sense others are so insane it makes it impossible to make our rental home feel like ours for the three years we will be stationed here. Its disappointing because wed love to make our home more ours, and would love to foster a dog here and there for a week or two (never long term) since it is a dog friendly home. This company is making it impossible to make our house feel like home and not just a place we are staying.

DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!! I know it is hard to find a place in clarksville but this company is really bad!! I did not see the other reviews but wish I would have. There are so many bad posts on here please believe them so you dont get screwed over!! We did not want to go with them at first because of the staff they are rude! but could not find a decent place so decided to go ahead since we wouldnt be there long anyways (military). From the beginning the messed up on our lease and had to correct it, then when I did the move in inspection I found so many things wrong with the place and marked them all down, they said I didnt need to mark them all ( scratches, dents, wholes, ect) I did anyway! Then when I turned it in they told me the lady just did the walk threw a week earlier and didnt find anything, I offered for them to come look themselves but they didnt. So when we went to move out the staff messed up and were not on the same page! We moved out cleaned the place top to bottom then get a letter saying we are not getting a deposit because of damages!! The damages where the things I put on the move in inspection... and they also wanted to charge us more days of rent!!! To me it looks like they were trying to get money, why wouldnt they put those damages down when they did the walk threw? I finally proved to them that the damages were there so they took them off they then tried to charge me for cleanings that they couldnt and finally removed those also but I still did not get my full deposit back. I wonder how many people have been screwed out of money and didnt notice it or didnt know what to do. The manager is really rude and believes his staff can do no wrong!!! This company is really bad please stay away from them!! If you have to rent from them record everything on move in, write down all damages and take pictures!!! keep everything pictures, paper work, emails!!
