I hired Don Wood Plumbing to do a $1800 remodel job. Didnt realize the disaster I was about to experience. With such a small job it should have been simple. First,most employees dont speak english. Secondly, they failed 2 simple inspections with the shower drain and main sewer drain not hooked up. Was flushing raw sewage underneath the house!!!!! Thirdly, Don Wood always has an excuse for his slopping incompentent employees. I could go on further but too much to mention!!!! Finaly, be ready to be in court if his doesnt agree to the amount he thinks is fair!!!

Ive used Don Wood Plumbing for over 6 years, and they have a very high standard, and delivered high quality to all my jobs even though they are in Franklin Tn., They service the Middle Tennessee Area. And Folks its normal for Plumbers to come back on the same job, to do a final adjustments, and to get plumbing fixtures to seal. Ive been in business as Truax Home Imp. Inc. since, 2001 and I have used plumbers on most of the jobs. I stand behind Don Wood Plumbing, and I give them a 5- Star rating!

Wanted a shower walk in to replace tub was told "could not be done." We went with a tub, shower to be installed. Once installed, it was smaller than original. Leaving sheet rock and tile repairs to come out of our pocket. It took three weeks to get them to arrive since we were told the workers would be here on Wednesday and no show. The following week company called and said the crew was on their way that morning. Next time, we will contact someone else.

Had them come out for an estimate and never heard back. Had to call them twice to finally get an estimate. I asked how soon they could start because we are on a tight time frame. And since I went ahead and did a small portion of the work, because it had to be done and they took too long to get back to me, when I finally talked to them they refused the work. Dont waste your valuable time.

I called on a Friday morning to schedule an appointment, they gave me an appointment for Tuesday-longer than expected but decided to take the time. I received a call on Tuesday morning to say there were "other emergencies" they had to respond to that day. I stated mine was an emergency and they offered me a rescheduled time for Saturday. Not the next day... four days out.

I have had trouble with numerous plumbers in Nashville. Most recently I called Don Wood. The first visit needed a return. The repair was made with no extra charge. since then I have called several times with good results. i plan to call him Monday on a routine issue (sump pump). Their work has been good, so far, and reasonably priced. What a relief!

serciceman was polite (jamie) did his work neatly and promptly and completed the job in a timely fashion. there was a issue with the gas supply and he solved the problem as opposes to throughing up his hands and leaving.. Thanks for a job well done, one happy customer. jim nauert

MR WOOD HIMSELF HUNG UP ON ME!! Beware of customer service!! I had a fixture installed by them that breaks every year. They refused to back their workmanship up. If you want to pay every year to have something reinstalled call this business.
