I never write reviews, but I feel strongly enough about this post office to write one. Its a bummer that USPS is a government-run business, because they dont give a crap how many bad reviews they get. Every single time I have to go to this post office, I leave cursing them and swearing to never return. Customer service is HORRIBLE - I run a small business and ship packages regularly, and Ive never been treated even decently. Also, if you need anything more complex than buying a sheet of stamps, you can expect a whole lot of attitude + huffing and puffing in return for your having the nerve to request that they do their job. Ive never not waited a ridiculous amount of time, regardless of the time of day. I regularly have employees lie to me when I call to ask them to hold a package for me - since theyre too lazy to go look for it, theyll just tell me its not there (even though Im tracking it and can clearly see it IS there)...and on a bad day, theyll outright refuse to go look for it. Basically, unless you know exactly what you need and what needs to be done in order to make it happen, youre screwed. Oh, and dont be fooled by all these nincompoops leaving 5-star reviews...theyre most definitely employees. There aint nothin 5-star about this place.

BIG ATTITUDE. I came in here regularly for 10 years, was always nice, had my packages ready. 5 times I got an attitude. One time they screwed up delivery of my package, I called, spoke to a grumpy man who snapped "Lady, I know how to spell!" when I spelled my name and address for him (they were totally at fault BTW). Another time a woman put on her Sherlock hat and stuck her nose in my business, got inappropriately personal when it was clear I just wanted to be left alone. Finally the blonde woman who waited on me for years got mad at me when I did not have my package ready because I needed help (one time out of hundreds of times I had my packages ready). Funny how she kept me standing there like an idiot one time while she and the aforementioned nosy co-worker chatted away, holding the line up ("working hard?" snapped a customer at her as he walked out). I felt the same way but kept my mouth shut and tried to be nice. Its OK for her to hold me up, you see. But the one time I needed help.....Look, I am basically harmless and I initiate nothing. All you extroverts gotta do is not GET AT ME, and Im friendly and easygoing; get an attitude with me and you may regret it! In the meantime, I will go to Bellevue where they are always friendly and helpful!

Looking for their hours and seeing the 1.5 stars, I decided to chime in. I have gone to this location for the past year or so, off and on. I will have to agree their attitudes are on the fence. I have seen them be short with people and then some be pretty happy. I am always friendly with them and get it 1/2 in return. But anyways, my main concern is their speed. Quality vs. quantity is true and I respect that aspect but at the same time it seems they very much take their time. The last time I was there, the older man who helped me had just said his speech about the packages contents when a worker came up to him to ask him a question. Normally that would be fine but he turned his back to me in the middle of the transaction and proceeded to talk to her for about a minute or two. No, "excuse me for minute", just turned and talked. I am a BIG proponent of customer service since so many companies lack it. I think they ride the fence way too much. Did I mention the lack of speed. ;)

Its a mess! I agree, there are one or two nice people...the rest are not nice and if you have a problem...God help you. They are confrontational and just plainly do not want to be there. They have been regularly rude to me as well as others and do, indeed, have very confrontational attitudes. I am very friendly 90% of the time, I try very hard when I go in there to be EXTRA nice, and if something happens and I either have a problem or need to ask questions, they just snap at you, and then it escalates from there....dont know how this is tolerated....and these people are in Customer Service??? I too, have witnessed lines out the door and someone will go on a break...I, too, would not have my job, at the front desk, if customers were in my lobby and I decided to go on break! Bottom line....if this were a private business...their doors would have closed years ago! Another fine example of Government Agencies.

I go to this Post Office on a HAVE TO basis ONLY. Lines are ALWAYS really long and the wait is forever. Recently, I dropped off several pre-paid packages (including a priority shipment) and they never scanned them in. I called and they said they had, but their equipment was old and doesnt download to the internet, sounded like a B.S story to me, but I said okay, thank you and the rude nasty woman hung up on me. Right before they closed, I called again, they said they will be scanning them in the next few minutes, well they didnt. Now there is no sight of these packages to be found and they were expensive items that may have to be refunded. This is the WORST post office ever. I will be taking my complaints to the postmaster and writing a letter to the postmaster general. This post office needs to close!

Service sucks... just because you work for the goverment does not mean you have to act like it. Needed to get my passport updated so i called the number listed to make an appointment... several times... no answer. So i went into the PO... waited at least 20 minutes to be told that renewals have to be mailed in and was handed a form that i could have printed from the internet. Does no one there wonder why people are not calling for an appointment? You see me with a passport in hand letting everyone go through the line for other services because i was "waiting on a Passport"... you dont ask what i needed? Hope the staff there do not have the same service we get from you when you are waiting in the unemployment line. Hope to see the day when this gov. Service gets privatized!

I called on a Wednesday to make an appointment to get my son a passport. I was told to call back Monday because they only book appointments on Monday... seriously? I thought that was strange but I said fine, Ill call back on Monday. I call the following Monday around 11:30 am and am told again to call back on Monday. I said, "Today is Monday" and am then informed I have to call at 8 am. What!? The fact that they cant schedule anything farther out than a week is absolutely ridiculous. The fact that I have to call at exactly 8 am on Monday is ridiculous! TERRIBLE customer service.

I walked in, wanting to get a passport renewed, and the man behind the counter informed me that I needed an appointment, or else he would get in trouble. He said that they only do a few a day, and that I needed to get all my documents together (which is fine) and come back with an appointment. However, when I called the number to make an appointment, it just rings to busy. It shouldnt be this hard, when this is the only avenue to get a passport. What happened to customer service, especially when we are paying the bills to keep it open?
