Horrible experience ! I brought in an $800 figurine to be shipped. I explained to both ladies VERY carefully, that the item was fragile and even pointed out areas that were the most fragile. I asked if that was something they could do and was told "no problem". As I knew it might take a while, I left. about 20 minutes later, I received a call from the owner and she stated," We were very careful, but a piece fell off". I had this item for 14 years and never an issue, but suddenly a piece decides to magically "drop off" while in the possession of Pony Mailbox??? I quickly returned and sure enough, one the fragile areas I had pointed out was now broken. Now the fun part.....When I asked if she had insurance, the answer was, "Yes, but not for something like this". I can only assume she may have fire insurance, but nothing that covers items damaged while in their possession. NO LIABILITY INSURANCE??? Smart. The best part came next. While I was upset at this situation, she stated that "Well, I didnt have to tell you. I could have just packaged it up and shipped it". SERIOUSLY???? I dealt with Pony Express for many years under the previous ownership and was always pleased. The change in ownership has certainly changed my mind. A word of caution.... If you have a fragile item, take it to a more professional and responsible shipper. And make sure your item is insured from the time you drop it off. Very poor business practices here, BEWARE !!!

I love Pony Mailbox! The new owner is very friendly and accommodating. I couldnt figure out how to pack an oddly-shaped, over-sized mirror to ship and she made a custom box for me that worked perfectly. She even calculated the best shipper for the box, and packed it carefully. The mirror arrived in perfect condition. I also rent a mailbox here and sometimes rent computer time when I need to access the Internet on my lunch break.

My rating would be zero if it was availale. i went to this place aug 29th to send a fax to the dept of education it was 9 pages and o was charged 18.00 Ive called the D.O.E since I sent this and they have still not received the fax. so the pony mailbox ripped me off. i would never go to this place again and woild not recomed it to anyone else. im also reporting them to the better buisness beaure.
