14 days before my sons wedding 8 hours away, I took my brand new dress to be cleaned at Bellevue Cleaners. It still had the tags on it from the online order & I had only tried it on to make sure it fit. The care tag explicitly said DO NOT DRY CLEAN. I was to pick it up on Monday afternoon, but when I got there, the attendant said there had been a stain on my dress and that they put it through the dry cleaning solution and all the sequins fell off. I couldnt speak to the owner until the next day, so I went home to see if the store still sold the same style & color. The style was still available, but not the color. I ordered the dress in the new color & had it shipped 2day which cost me $15. When I spoke to the owner, he argued with me about the stain. He picked out sequins & his wife put them on but at their other location several miles away. I had to go their other location twice to approve of the color of the sequins. The dress was available to me on Tuesday at the store close to my house, 3 days before the wedding. When I saw the dress, the lighting was different than at the secondary store and the sequins were a bit brighter than what was on it originally. I asked if I could take the dress home to try it on & verify that it looked acceptable & let him know. He said no, since I authorized the work, they did it & he felt he was done. He didnt care if I was satisfied. I asked him if he would pay for the shipping of the alternative dress or the gas money for two trips to the other store and he said no even though I he gave me incorrect information about time they opened. He didnt budge. I took the dress because he said now he wasnt obligated to do anything else for me, but he wouldnt charge me for any of the cleaning or extra work. I certainly will NEVER use his facility again. I only asked for payment for the extra costs that I had to pay out due to his screw up. He obviously didnt care that he was losing a customer. I have never been treated with such disrespect for my clothing or my feelings.

BEWARE I had a rug cleaned at Bellevue cleaners which when I went to pick it up, it still had dog hair and still smelled bad. I asked had it been cleaned and he said yes.I explained my findings with the rug and I told him I would take it somewhere that would do a better job. Before I could get the rug he had me write a post dated check for 8/6, and if I brought a receipt in showing I had taken to another cleaner, he would give me my check back. I went in today, 8/3, with the receipt, and he apparently had cashed the check on 8/2 and would not honor the agreement. I now have contacted US Bank who cashed the check even though it was dated 8/6. U S Bank has informed me that even if I post date a check to be held, it can be cashed at any time. Good to know.

The owner Dreamed up an outstanding invoice for 9 months ago and charged us an additional $38 to get our clothes. He said he had "made a note" on the ticket. He couldnt provide any documentation, we were just to take his word for it. We never have an outstanding invoice. He obviously had us confused with someone else, but there was no reasoning with him. Weve been going there for over 10 years. We will never use this place again.
