Im not exaggerating when I say this: to me, a single, mechanically-disinclined woman, Essy is one of the major perks of living in Nashville. Id never realized how important having a good, trustworthy, and fair mechanic really is, but I do now. Not only does he know his stuff, but hes actually a really good guy. He doesnt take advantage of people or overcharge them just because he can get away with it. Think about that for a moment: he CAN lie to people about whats wrong with their car, he CAN overcharge them because everybody else does, but he chooses not to! How refreshing is THAT?! He has a really high standard of morality. He came recommended to me by several people, all unrelated, from totally different circles. Now that hes been my mechanic for a couple of years, I recommend him every chance I get. And everybody Ive recommended him to has thanked me for one of the greatest gifts a car owner can have: an honest, reliable mechanic! He is, forever, on my list of things I am grateful for at Thanksgiving. Truly. Doesnt matter what you drive, doesnt even matter if you live an hour away, if youre lucky enough to have learned about the existence of Essy, youve found your new mechanic! Congratulations!

Ive used Essey Auto Service repeatedly for my Volvo S40 T5, and with each experience, Ive been extremely pleased with the owners customer service, his fair business practices, and his willingness to ensure quality work. My Volvo is now reaching high miles, and there have been some costly repairs that would have been exorbitant if completed elsewhere. Ive had a timing belt replaced, an alternator and battery replacement, engine mounts replaced, a new fuel injector, oil sensors and PVC breather box replacement as well as new brakes / regular oil changes. Some of my repairs have taken more than one visit to fully correct, but Essey has always made it right. Essey is a kind and lovely man - and seems to be a very rare breed in the mechanic world. So grateful to support his small business operation.

Essy (the owner and main mechanic) is a truly amazing person. I had lost pressure in my brake lines in my GMC truck, so I decided to try out the local shop. The brake lines were rusted through, and I had a really bad leak (which I know was true, because he showed me the bad brake lines and how brittle they were). The parts were discontinued, so he had to make the brake lines himself. He allowed me to observe as he worked on my truck, and answered every question I had. He fixed my truck, didnt charge me nearly enough for the labor that he had to put in (including making the new brake lines and fitting them around the chassis), and was very honest and pleasurable to do business with. Ill definitely use him in the future.

ESSY IS THE MAN! I got referred to him by a friend and he went above and beyond my expectations.. he was so friendly and kept a huge smile on his face while giving us some of the lowest prices weve heard for our tire and axle problem. Most of all time was a big issue for us.. we left him our car over the weekend in order for him to order our part and first thing this Monday morning we woke up to a text saying our cr was finished. We are so pleased and will definitely be back to our now ONLY auto service guy!

After moving to Nashville over a year ago my daughter began having car trouble. Living 2+ hrs away , I couldnt do much to help her. Thats where ESSY came in , these guys are literally a Godsend !! Honest , trustworthy, reliable and genuine are only a few of the words I would use to describe them. Shes had to use them on several occasions now and EVERY time theyve done a great job at a very reasonable rate !! Said nothing was wrong with our car, but it turns out we had to replace quite a few parts when our check engine light came on later. Changed our spark plugs and when brought to a different mechanic he said they were the wrong plugs. Cant believe we got ripped off by them. This place is fine for oil changes and they are friendly which is why I didnt leave a 1 star rating. Do NOT go here for bigger car problems or if you dont know whats wrong with your car. Not very knowledgeable over there.

ESSY is the MOST TRUSTWORTHY mechanic I have found in Nashville. It took me living there for 5 years to find him! If you have any problem at all, take it in. He wont charge you hundreds of dollars to check it out. He will tell you what needs to be fixed and the best way to do it! They do GREAT WORK, in a TIMELY manner. SO Thankful for ESSY and the team, and all of their help! **I am even living in Asia now, and writing because I feel that strongly about him!! NOW GO SEE ESSY TODAY!

We have been so thrilled to discover Essys business - over the last two years, he has given us quality, affordable service (on a 22 year old Chev, a 20 year old Dodge, and a 13 year old Oldsmobile) that is always at a much better rate than any other auto services. I was referred here by a friend and now I can see why ... from the moment we walked in the receptionist was so helpful and welcoming... then the owner came out and greeted us and in depth explained detail by detail what was wrong with our car... and last but not least they are the most reasonably priced auto shop I have ever been too!!! This is def the place to take your vehicle for whatever whenever !!
