Ive been a customer there for over 20 yrs but recently Im very disgusted and frankly frustrated. My engine light had been going off and on for over a year..first they replaced all the points, plugs and wires. That did fix the problem for several months but then the light was on again and the rpm were running very high at idle. My uncle, whos been a mechanic for over 40 years, after asking me a ton of quesions said it sounded to him like a vacuum leak somwhere. When I took it in I was told by Thomas that the "codes werent reading a vacuum leak" and they needed to hear it from a cold start. I left the car overnight and low and behold the next morning what did they tell me...I had a vacuum leak near the manifold. That was fixed $159 dollars later but within a week my engine light was on...AGAIN. This time I was told the "computer was reading a hard code for the catalytic converter". My Marta was due so I told them to order the part. In the meantime my engine light was off so on a whim I decided to run it through Marta...just to see. Well dont you know it passed MARTA....and THEY said my converter tested just fine, thank you....saved myself over $2000 because I followed my gut. If you get a quote from here for major work....GET A SECOND OPINION. Thats going to be my montra from now on.

I took my truck there and one of the workers told me they were closed...So I went another day and was actually happy with the service they provided. However, I took my wifes car there and ever since then I have had issues with her car. As soon as I pulled out from the parking lot!!!!..I drove less than a mile and the car made a rough noise and stopped. I towed the car to another place and they looked at it the said the caliber was not even attached to the disk. I had a flat tire and the axil nut was broken. After getting that problem fixed.. It doesnt drive as smooth And NOW the check engine light comes on.?????.That never happened before!!!.I am VERY UNHAPPY with the service I received and will NEVER go back to this place again. Also..After calling to inform them about the issues I am having with my car. I tryed to explain to the lady what was going on and she hung up on me 2 times..Not very good customer service. I was not even asking anything from them. Even though so far after taking it to them I have had to pay $500.00+ in repairs...I was just letting them know that it had happened.

I was referred by a friend to go get my brakes done at precision auto. All they were to do is check to find out if my wheel cylinders or master cylinder was my issue since I had no brakes and shouldnt be driving the car on the road. They checked and told me it was the master cylinder that was the issue - however they didnt take ANYTHING off my car to check it, they just did it by site and said the Master Cylinder is whats needed. Then the Manager proceeded to call me and told me that they wont touch my car because it has some rust on it. I went to go pick up the car and they refused to give me a letter of refusal for my insurance company and told me to have the car towed. I left with the car and went to another mechanic who took everything off (with no issues and stated they was no rust on the brakes) and discovered that I needed new brakes and that I shouldnt drive it at all on the road. Precision Auto doesnt know what they are doing and they are completely untrustworthy.

I took my car there june 25th for an oil change and paid for the premium oil change. 2 weeks later i had to dump an entire bottle of transmission fluid because they never topped my fluids off. I had to have a mechanic look at my transmission because it started to jump really bad. My transmission is now going out and i have a 2004 acura Rl with only 15000 miles on it. Its going to cost me 3000$. The mechanic i went to owns a shop and has owned a shop for 32 years and he even wrote out a statement saying the reason it was going out was because the fluid got so low it began to burn which in return my transmission is now screwed. I would never recommend anyone going there. Because they wont fix it. Im in the process of suing. The mechanic i actually had look at my car gave them terrible reviews also. DONT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. the owner mike refused to pay for his shops mistakes and ive been a long term customer.

I was told it would initially cost $89.95 to simply install a car battery...after some negotiation, we settled for $60. The serviceman walked around the vehicle making sure their wasnt annoying else wrong ...I ASSUMED....once he lowered my car down my tail light went out. Once I asked him about it he told me it would be nearly $25 to replace it!!! More than making up for what he was planning on gouging me for in the first place! They refused to fix what was ultimately their responsibility, which sent me out the door, in the rain, at 8pm with one tail light and my flashers on until I could find and auto parts store to replace it myself. Which cost me a grand total of $4.43!!!!!!!!! Ridiculous mark-ups paired with the unwillingness to amend their mistakes unfortunately equals TERRIBLE SERVICE when it comes to PRECISION TUNE AUTO CARE!

I appreciate Mike and his team at Precision Tune on Nolensville for taking honest care of me. I have always received reliable service from this location, and in a timely manner. Its true you get what you pay for and good service on my vehicle is not something i am willing to take a gamble on, regardless of price. Car maintenance is not "cheap", nor should it be cheap, it should be quality, and I have never had an issue with their services, their prices, or any issue following a job done on my vehicles. My father has been a mechanic his whole life and i have even had Mike speak with my dad to make sure that I was getting the correct service at the proper pricing ... father confirmed ... its a good place to go. Ive been going to Mike for years now and recommend his services.

I wish i read these rating before I got my oil change here, the have great oil change prices, but it seems they have a shady practice of "magically" pointing out problems with your car that you didnt know were there and then asking ridiculous prices to fix them. If you decide to get your oil changed here because of the low prices make sure you watch what they are doing, I would not be that surprised if they purposefully inflicted damage on peoples cars in situations where it could not be proved that it was them and then talked people with little knowledge of car repairs into paying absurd prices to get them fixed.

I had a more serious problem than an oil change. I suddenly saw that my oil pressure dropped and my oil light was on. I pulled into Precision Tune Auto Care late in the afternoon. They had to get a special part from the Nissan dealership and they STILL had my car fix by the end of business and at a reasonable price. The staff was extremely friendly and they made the time waiting enjoyable. They even called to check on me the next day. I am definitely going back for any issues.
