Contrary to the horrible review of one customer, these guys are class act people! My alternator was about to leave me stranded on the side of the road. I called Lawsons and these guys are the best, most professional mechanics Ive ever dealt with. I called them expecting them to say it would be a few days before they could fit me in but they said to bring it on down that they could fit me in SAME DAY! I drove my vehicle to their shop and they drove me back to my house while I waited for the repair to be completed. Well, impatient me took the bus back down to their shop. While I was there, the mechanic working on my vehicle pointed out the I should replace my valve cover gaskets soon. He said it didnt have to be done today but said they would need to be changed soon. Another plus was the final price was CHEAPER than their original quote they gave me! Great service, spacious air conditioned office with a giant TV AND great, Professional service..... Cant beat it. I Highly recommend these guys for ALL of your car care needs!

I recently moved into the area and hadnt yet found a good, trustworthy auto shop to take my car to when it decided to die on me during traffic one morning. AAA suggested Lawson and Son Auto Repair, as they were the closest repair shop to my break down location. I got lucky! Not only did the guys find the problem that same day, fitting me into their already busy schedule, they also had the parts on hand and were able to repair my car by the end of the day! When I received the call from PK, saying my car was ready to be picked up, only hours after Id left it with them, I was beyond thrilled. When I heard what the problem had been and the total cost of the repair, I was even more excited. When I picked up my car the next morning, PK noted that I needed new tires, and printed me up a quote at my request. No pressure to get extra work done, only concern for what was necessary and needed attention soon. I appreciate that. These guys left a great first impression. I know where Ill be taking my car from now on.

When it comes to mechanics, I care more about honesty and workmanship than anything else. Im very careful about who I have work on my vehicles for this very reason. If I come once and get the pressure tactics about the $1000 worth of work I "need right now" on my car I wont be back. Being able to ask "What needs to be done now and what can wait?" and knowing I will get a response I can trust is very important to me. So, when my prior mechanic moved too far away, I was worried. However, Lawson and son came highly recommended from a good friend. I was not disappointed; its awesome to find another highly competent and trustworthy place to take my car so close to work.

I have been a Lawson & Son customer for many years. I brought in my 2014 Subaru for an oil and filter change at my 8:00 a.m. appointment, and once again Pete and the guys were exceptional. Attention to detail, professionalism, timeliness, friendly help, and good prices. The day before, Id bought a quart of oil to be sure I wasnt too low until I got mine changed, and Pete offered and installed for me. That was very helpful, as I was to teach that day, and couldnt afford to get greasy. Good guys, a long-term, exceptional family business. Thank you PK, Pete and Lawson!!

I love Lawson & Son! They are reliable, honest, excellent mechanics. As a customer of theirs for 7.5 years, I have felt comforted knowing that if my 145k mile Honda Pilot runs great because they make sure I get the maintenance I need. We have had no breakdowns with any of our vehicles that have all been used Hondas or Acuras and I credit that, in part, to the great service and attention we have received over the years from PK and Pete and their staff. RUN FOR YOUR LIVES! My clutch was going out. PK the owner said I needed new slave cylinder which will cost $808! Thats more than my mortgage. I was gonna have to blow my mortgage payment to pay Lawsons. My boyfriend came with me and alas all I needed was one simple "o" ring. PK the owner was gonna get almost $1,000 from me which I needed to pay my mortgage. He is a WHITE LIAR and ha, ha, ha he didnt get not one penny from me.

I called this morning to see if Lawsons could do an oil change and tire rotation for me. I also asked them to make a small repair on the underside of the car. Always excellent. You see a lot of women there, and that tells you everything you need to know, if you know what I mean. Women know they are typically gonna get the shaft, and I guess these women I speak of know this is a safe place to go: an atypical auto repair shop. There must be other reputable shops but why take a chance until you have to?

Have had nothing but fine experiences with Lawson Bros. Pricing is fair, work exemplary, turnaround fast. They will attempt to "repair" a problem vs always throwing parts at it. If there has ever been an issue, its always been dealt with in an expeditious fashion. I have my son in laws taking their autos to Lawson now.

That is the only place to get your car tuned up or worked on Lawsons has been around for years they are good people then and theyre good people now theyre honest and sincere and they do whats needed they dont sell you a bill of goods I highly recommend them

I brought my car to Lawson & Son because the AC wasnt working. Pete told me it could take 1-2 days depending on what the problem was. They called me back just a couple of hours later and it was all fixed for less than $100. You cant beat service like that!

PK and Pete have been my mechanics for nearly 15 years. I trust them implicitly. They do great work at a reasonable price. And they will also tell you when you DONT need something fixed, which is something you dont often hear.
