I have been here since 10:33 with my girlfriend who likes this location(since its the only place she has been). From an unbiased perspective this place is a joke. I am still waiting for brakes and rotors. We have been the only business since we have arrived and we are still sitting here. I step out for a cigarette to see the mechanics sitting on there butts listening to music and laughing when we are spending $240 for brakes and rotors. The receptionist is unaware and fails to relay vital information regarding repairs. I asked the mechanic how long it usually takes, he responded " 2 hours". Are you serious lol? No you cannot be because Ive sold cars for the past three years and Ive never heard such a thing for brakes.....and rotors. First time Ive visited and the last time I will come. If you need car work, go to discount tire in st. Charles. They value business and keep you abreast every step of the way. The owner should be disgusted with the service he is providing. I had Velasquez replace all four of my brakes when they wore out. At first, everything was great. But after a few months, the brakes started squeaking while driving. I took the car back a couple of times, but of course the squeaking stopped when I pulled into their lot. Even though the written warranty was expired, and a visual inspection revealed no problems, they kept telling me "they wanted to make things right". I elected to wait, as I had a long tip to take. Well, as it turned out, there was one defective brake pad that disintegrated after only a few thousand miles of use. It scored the left rear rotor. Velasquez replaced not only the left rear brake pads and rotor, but also the right rear as well, all at no charge. Again, they told me "they wanted to make things right", even though the warranty was expired. They exemplify good customer service.

If I could give it a Zero I would! My husband brought our vehicle in to have a new muffler installed not only did they do a terrible job on the welding (look for yourself at the photos) but they swapped the muffler that we brought to them for one that was a different part number and cheaper than the one that we gave them. Where our muffler went with the box, we have no idea. Also originally we were told a different price and when we went to pay it was more than we agreed upon. Overall this was a complete waste of money and I had to order the replacement parts all over again and had it done the right way. As you can see the welder didnt know what he was doing and did not have the welder set properly to get a clean weld.

Showed me an $80 replacement flex pipe with a flange that they said my car needed. I was under the car this weekend and found that they cut my old pipe and welded in a cheap $20 piece of flex pipe. They charged me for the $80 part. They cut and pieced crap together and made no effort to adapt pipes of different sizes together, instead they filled 1/4" gaps with crappy welds. A good weld is stronger than a clamp, these are not good welds. I will never go back

Had our brakes done at Velasquez Brakes. Its an old van, so the problems were deeper than just shoes and rotors. They told me it was done, but when I told them it didnt seem right, they ended up doing a lot of work and putting in a lot of parts for free. They went out of their way to be sure that Im satisfied with their work, and I am. I would definitely recommend them.

Best quality repair and cheapest oil change around. At $80 I got a Flex pipe fixed here for damn near half the price of Super Lube, who wanted $150. The Velasquez shop across the street (for some reason its not listed on Google) does oil changes for $18, $2 less than Super Lube or Woodmans and $20 cheaper than Jiffy Lube.

Worst service ever itzel has the biggest atittude ever and there work omg there work sucks so bad i had to get my straight pipes re welded 3 times and my flex pipes broke after a week of having them please avoid this place and goto santis muffler instead way cheaper better quality!!

They charged me 150$ to make me a y pipe and I had exhaust leaks everywhere and I went back and they said I needed new clamps. I spent another 30$ and my time putting these clamps on for it to keep leaking. Horrible service

These guy were quick! I needed a muffler on my truck. $95 bucks with labor included. You cant beat that. In and out in 20 minutes.
