Have you ever notice that most "full reviews" are usually the negative ones? Well, I am as likely to post a negative review as I am a positive one. And my multiple experiences with Premium Auto have ALL been positive ones. When I first contacted Kevin (the owner) by phone because my car was making some weird noises and leaking something, he was very patient with me, and advised me to be sure the car had plenty of oil, radiator fluid, and to get by his shop as soon as possible. I have never had a mechanic advise me on precautionary measures to take...to prevent further damage...before being a customer. I was certainly impressed. His shop is not one of the "big box chain stores", like PepBoys, JiffyLube, etc. It is nondescript, and no frills. He is there to fix cars, not impress you with beautiful and stylish decor. Which also translates to lower costs for the customer, as he isnt spending revenue on frills. Long story short...he has always been able to squeeze me in on short notice, and fixed the problem the same day...for FAR less money than I expected it would cost. He even gave me a ride home and picked me up after a repair was done when I didnt have alternate transportation! Now, THAT is customer service. Yeah, I could go to WalMart, PepBoys, or another large chain for auto repairs...and get the same work done when needed. But would I have the same customer service? An equal "work me in - same day" ability? When given the chance, I try and keep my business local...supporting those businesses in my community. The owners of local stores care about me as a customer...not their bottom line or advertising budget! Call Kevin, and find out for yourself how great a mechanic he, his son, and crew are! You wont be disappointed!

My sister-in-law and I were driving from Green Bay to Ft Myers, FL. We started having trouble starting the car the day before. Took it somewhere in Kentucky in the morning to have the battery tested. They said the battery and the starter were both fine, so off we went. Stopped for gas in Nashville and lo and behold, when we tried to start the car back up: nothing. Some very nice men at the gas station tried to jump us, but quickly realized the battery was not the problem. It was the starter. So we were forced to call around to see who could fix it. We called a few places. The gentleman at Premium Auto Repair said he could help us right after lunch but wed have to get the vehicle towed over. We called 1-888-RESCUE911 and got it towed over there. Kevin greeted us. Said they would get to it as soon as they finished lunch. Gave us an exact price with tax. Said they would need to get the part and install it - it would take about an hour and a half. We told him to go ahead. He then asked if we would like a ride anywhere, maybe for lunch, while we waited. He recommended a few good restaurants close by. He took us to a good Mexican place and said to call him when we were done. He got done with the repair in an hour and 15 minutes and called us to say hed come whenever we were ready. So he picked us up, we paid and off we were. The price was fair and he went out of his way to accommodate us. All in all, the place was not overly clean or organized, but Kevin and the others who worked there were very friendly and courteous. I recommend them for auto work. You just cant find places with that good of customer service anymore.

THIS GUY IS A HUGE RIP OFF SCAM ARTIST! HE SUPPOSEDLY REPAIRED THINGS ON MY CAR THAT IT DIDNT NEED AND THAT I TOLD HIM I DIDNT WANT. IT DIDNT FIX THE PROBLEM, OF COURSE HE REFUSED TO TAKE THE PART OF SAYING IT WAS NONRETURNABLE AND SUGGESTED I SPEND ANOTHER $1,000 TO REPLACE MORE PARTS UNTIL WE FOUND WHAT IT WAS WRONG WITH IT. THEN I REALIZED WHEN PULLING OFF FROM HIS SHOP HE HAD TORE UP SOME WIRING. IT HAD TO GO INTO ANOTHER SHOP AS IT BROKE DOWN IN THE WAY HOME FROM HIS SHOP. A TOTAL RIP OFF NEVER LET THIS GIY NEAR YOUR CAR EVER!!!! HIS SHOP IS INSIDE A WRECKER SERVICE SHOP!!! I SHOULDVE HAD MY HEAD EXAIMED FOR ALLOWING HIM TO TOUCH MY CAR!!!!! VERY VERY BAD WANNABE MECHANIC. THE REVIEW HERE FROM "TIFFFURNESS" IS TOTAL BS ALSO, THE OWNERS LAST NAME IS FURNESS. WHAT A CROOK!!!! Of course after he receives a bad review he receives a glaring positive one that notes multiple visits with no negative issues. What a fake bunch of cow dung. This guys shop is inside a wrecker service...just the type of clowns you want working on your car right lol. This guy is a joke and his kids are a joke for leaving fake reviews. I think I will post ton YouTube and Facebook the receipt for a fuel pump I picked up at closing time on a Tuesday and the invoice from the dealer the very next morning saying I need to fix damage and replace the fuel pump he charged me $650 to replace. Crooks dont last long clown..

Wonderful & quick. Kevin (owner) recently performed our 90k mile check up on Ford Focus, for circa $200. He reviewed quickly & let me know via phone call once everything had been finished (same day). He is very polite, slight forward and informative. He filled out the maintenance book provided by the dealer and used the oil we purchased. He even provided us directions to the location due to his companys relocation to another address on Murfreesboro Pike. By initial review driving up to the repair shop, one may be swayed against using Kevins (family owned) services, however do not be alarmed by appearance. Kevins customer service is high & craftsmanship is wonderful. We will definitely be using his services for all of our automobile needs in the future. Thanks Kevin!

We were driving through TN on our way home from a family trip down to GA when we had engine troubles. I pulled into the local dealership and was completely ignored for about ten minutes before I just left. Went to a national chain shop and was also just passed along. A quick Google search gave us this repair facility. Pulled into the shop and got a quick estimate. With three kids and my wife in tow we waited in the shop as they got right to work on my vehicle. After the parts arrived it took about fifteen minutes and we were back on the road. They made an already hectic 14 hour drive just a little less troublesome. Thanks!

Kevin has always shot straight with me and given advance warning when things are starting to look worn or like they might need maintenance coming up. He will make time for us that day if its a pressing issue, and his prices are more than fair. He has never charged me a diagnostic fee, and his prices are better than the dealership I used to work with. Best of all, he knows what hes talking about. We trust him with all our maintenance and repairs.

I wish I had something positive to say about this repair shop. Kevin was nice enough but a scammer. He replaced a transmission for me ($1400), however, neglected to properly tighten one of the bolts right and it backed which messed up the starter etc. 10 days after the repair the car broke down again and he said it was due to a frozen engine. After getting a second opinion, it was a blatant lie and rip off.
