The people at this shop are very nice and friendly, however I feel like I was charged for something that I shouldnt have. I told them "I have a code. The first step in trying to resolve the code is to change the oil, so I want the oil changed." They said "Okay. Well get you in here, change the oil, and clear the code." I said "Cool. Change the oil and clear the code." They did what they said, but then charged me $40 to clear the code, which is a bit rediculous since all I asked for was an oil change. Their excuse was that their OBDII scanner is very expensive so they have to charge when they use it. Thats great, but the code I had is one that clears itself when fixed. They bragged that they could have tested the code with their scanner, but didnt and charged me less. Why didnt they fix it then? They did the job half way and charged me for it. The best part is that this shop is right next door to an auto parts store that sells OBDII scanners for $40. Im sorry to have to write a negative review for a local business, but I should not have been charged to clear a code when all I asked for was an oil change since I knew what the code was. I doubt Ill be back.

I have been using Pattersons for over 5 years now. Vern and his staff are 100% honest and do fantastic work! What needs fixed gets fixed, what doesnt need replaced or repaired doesnt. If something is showing signs of wear or a possible concern, they let you know so you can make a decision to replace it or wait until its critical. Again, I trust them 100% with all of my routine maintenance and repairs. I drive 45 minutes to get to their shop, they are great people, the trust and quality of work is worth the drive and peace of mind! I highly recommend them!

Our service related to having a new battery installed. We had experienced a problem that morning getting the engine to turn over. We anticipated it might be the battery. Drove to the NAPA dealer nearby and asked for the battery to be checked, with a few questions asked, the test was performed and it was indeed a problem with the battery. Within the hour we had a new battery installed and we were on our way. Precise indeed.

Excellent service! I just moved down here less then a year ago and had a hard time finding a excellent fair priced automotive repair shop. I was charged very fairly for what I consider a lot of engine work in my 2001 civic. I plan to keep using this company for any car repair that is "over my head" going forward.
