I needed a desktop repaired. Even though it was a 5 year old Dell, it was a custom workhorse for video editing, so I really wanted to avoid purchasing a new pc. I tried to fix it myself with a new CMOS battery, and I tested the power supply, which seemed to be working. But no matter what I tried, the computer would not fire back up after I would power it down. I brought it in and the issue was identified right away, which was the power supply. They had the part in stock and the work was completed the next day. They let me know in advance what the cost would be, which was very reasonable. Service was friendly, couldnt be happier.

I took my Mac to have it looked at and after 3 weeks I picked it up with the explanation of it couldnt be fixed. I brought it home, opened it up only to find it looked like it hadnt been touched. After pulling the Hard Drive myself, dusting it off, then reinstalling it the computer worked fine. Must of been a loose wire, dust, or just needing a reset, but I find it hard to believe that it was even touched let alone anything to come to a conclusion of it being unfixable. If you dont want to mess with something be honest! They probably are very knowledgeable about computers but never trash your PC without a second opinion.

Great service. Fast--a day before I expected the work to be completed the call came to pick my machine up. My PC wasnt there 24 business hours and it was done. Extremely reasonable pricing. I think what struck me the most was how honest Jefferson is. I was thinking of doing more to my PC that wasnt really needed and Jefferson told me exactly that. It wasnt needed and was a waste of money. He was right and it was so refreshing to do business with someone like that. I absolutely recommend J. Dexter Tech.

A combination of cd-rom no longer working and multiple viruses, in addition to a battery that would barely allow my laptop to run the screen, made it more than a little difficult for me to use. After a brief call, I drove over and he was obviously extremely knowledgeable, but was also very willing to help find a new battery for me to buy myself. (from a third party with no monetary benefit to him). Also, he doesnt charge an arm and a leg! If I have any other problems I will definitely use him again.

Got the job Done....almost. He was very nice and was willing to try to help me recover files from my mac. Mac has hidden folders that store phone back ups in itunes if you chose not to use the cloud. Unfortunately the hidden folders were not recovered and i lost my back ups therefore losing many pictures songs and notes that were stored on my computer in Itunes. Great customer service, and a quick turn around; just wish i had all of the files that were on my mac before it was wiped and restored.

12/10/12 - I received a phone call from Jefferson, at this time he began berating me and threatening to call his attorney and sue me if I did not delete the post regarding his lack of customer service skills and his exceptionally poor quality computer. Any business owner who feels compelled to berate a customer and threaten them with a law suit for expressing their opinion regarding the business, IN MY OPINION certainly must have questionable business practices.

The Best computer repair in Rutherford Co. ! Good friendly customer service along with Free troubleshooting. I have tried other repair shops in Murfreesboro and was not happy. After having my grandsons Laptop repaired at J.Dexter i will only use him from now on. Service was performed in a very timely manner, unlike others. Dont waste your time and just get it done correctly the first time with J.Dexter Tech in Smyrna! You will not be disappointed.

I have been taking computers to J. Dexter Tech for a couple of years. They have the BEST customer service of any computer repair place I have been to. They are thorough, they know what they are doing, they are cost effective, speedy, and I would recommend them to anyone. I have never had a problem with any computer I have sent to them. They say people dont say anything unless theyre unhappy. unfortunately, that seems to be true alot on the internet. Ive been coming to see Jefferson for probably 3 years now and have always been happy and satisfied. I even stop by when Im in the area to see if he has any new pictures on the walls. Hes always gone above whats needed, and I am glad I know him. So count me as one of his very happy customers!

Love this place! They did an excellent job on repairing our laptop & best of all,at a great price! Ive taken computers there before & I love how honest they are,if its not worth fixing,they tell you instead of pushing you to spend unnecessary money on something that you could replace at a cheaper cost,but if it can be fixed,they do it at a very reasonable price & theyre never pushy,best pc repair around!

We went to get my wifes laptop fixed after one of the kids dropped it and broke the power cord where it meets the laptop. He was up front pricing on labor and parts. He did a great job and i recommened there service. Its been over a year since we had the work done and it is still run great. Thank you for your hard work. Will be coming back if i need and more service done.

Brought my computer in on two different occasions. Both times he told me "what it probably was," and both times failed to discover the source of the problem. To his credit, both visits were free. In addition, it was an older computer that apparently didnt age very well. He seemed very knowledgeable, so maybe my computer troubles both times were cosmic flukes.

I would give 6 stars if I could. I have taken both my wifes laptop and my laptop there for service. He was able to beat the going repair price on my wifes laptop by 10% of others I checked into and he was able to diagnose my laptop and give great advise on what to do. i will take all of my computers to him in the future!!!

Cannot say enough about J. Dexter Tech! Fantastic customer service, and he fixed my computer in a timely manner for a reasonable price. I use my computer for my home based business so when something happens to it is very important that I can trust someone to fix it quickly and professionally. Highly recommend!
