My car sustained considerable hail damage in the most recent hail storm - cracked windshield and 20+ large dents that paintless dent removal cannot cure. I went to this shop yesterday (Thursday 4/23), parked my car, got out and as I was half way between my car and the front door I was approached by a big, sweaty man who proceeded to ask me (verbatim) "what do you want?". I advised him that I was looking to get an estimate to have my car repaired after the hail storm. He told me that they do not do estimates and they simply work off of what the insurance company says. Before I could utter another syllable he told me that they would not be able to even LOOK at my car until late June. Shame on me for trying to give him my business.

This is the only body shop I"ve ever used in Austin, and its the only body shop I ever will use in Austin. Years ago, I took my Toyota Tercel to them because a friend of mine had punched a basketball sized dent in the rear quarter panel and side door when the car was brand new. They ended up replacing the rear quarter panel, and I will swear that it was actually a better, more inconspicuous weld than the factory did, comparing to the driver side. These guys had earlier done an amazing job matching a faded paint job on my old subaru when I peeled the side off, they are just totally awesome - professional, and helpful besides being good at their job.

Solid service. They worked pretty quickly, given the amount of work I needed. Everything looks amazing now, and they even deep cleaned my interior. It was like getting the car back new. My only reservation is that they were a bit bad at communication - Theyd often tell me they thought the work would be done on a certain day, and then at 4 PM that day, Id call, and theyd tell me they had something come up and it wouldnt be done. Most of the time, it seemed like a legit issue, but it made it hard to plan.

I went to get an estimate for 1 dent and 2 door dings and he spent 40 minutes trying to rip me off. The estimate came out to more than $2500 and had things in there like doing work on both doors when there was only a ding on one of them. And removing the right side mirror? (dent on the left door) WHAT? I couldnt believe it. I walked out of the store laughing because of what they were saying was involved in fixing my car. I went down the street and got an estimate for $345.

I went to Anderson Lane after someone at my apartment complex put a big scrape and a deep dent in the side of my beloved Volvo. I chose Anderson Lane because it was the lowest of the three quotes I got from a big bodywork chain, the dealership and them. I am so glad I did. The guys were genuinely nice to me, I got a great deal, and the work is flawless. Thanks!

Working with the technician was a breeze. I think I spent more time walking to and from Anderson Lane Body from my around the corner office than I did inside dropping off the car and key and paying after. Came here originally because they came highly recommended by a mechanic that doesnt do body work - and certainly will return for any future needs.

Anderson Body Shop has exceptional service. They were courteous and professional, they got my car back to me in two days, and the price was reasonable. In fact, they washed my car inside and out. My car looked like nothing ever happened to it. Just like new! In short they were so awesome I took some of their cards to pass out to my friends.

I had the front bumper on my Prius replaced here. I got several estimates around town and they had the best price. They did warn me up front that potentially some damage couldnt be seen until the bumper was removed -- the other shops said the same thing. Work was finished in two days, no extra charges, and it looks great.

I have used this shop twice. They do excellent work. The paint is a perfect match and I have a difficult color to match. I also like being able to speak with the owner about my car. Im not a fan of the chain shops.

Wanted a price on a bumber for a 99 Acura TL and the main guy said he would not do it and said that he has enough business and did not need me as his customer. Rude a#@ people, good luck if you use them.
