This is a full service carwash that is as unprofessional as they come. The attendants arent very knowledgeable on the different packages and very poor customer service. I am reasonable in writing this review that maybe I dealt with the newer or less trained attendants. PLEASE READ THE REST IF YOU PLAN ON GOING TO THIS CARWASH. I took my car in for a full wash and detail. The attendant rear ended another vehicle with my car in one of their bays. The owner of the car wash played it down but the damage was done. Furthermore, I tried very hard to work with the owner to get the repairs done but he gave excuses on why he couldnt pay for repairs. I gave him an entire month to get the money together and each time he had a new excuse. Whats worst? He claims to not have business insurance on his carwash. That should be a REDFLAG in itself for anyone looking to visit this carwash. You can just tell the carwash isnt well kept and after doing some research, they have inflated prices for the services they offer. AVOID AT ALL COSTS if you want to protect your car.

I live in Hutto, but made the trek down to South Austin because of a very good Living Social Deal here. I had a bad experience with some other LivSoc & Groupon deals at other carwash places, so my expectations were low, but these guys absolutely surpassed my expectations and they did it with courtesy and a smile! Easiest time I have ever had redeeming a LivSoc deal and they even honored my last wash after the expiration date. The location looks questionable when you first pull up, but it is a clean facility and they have some surprisingly comfy bean bag chairs in the back to relax in while waiting for your car. If you are in a hurry then go elsewhere as I have never had a wash completed in less than 40mins, but they do a thorough job and this place is always busy, which is usually a good indicator that they have loyal and returning customers.

WORST CAR WASH EXPERIENCE EVER!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE.. I dont normally complain or even take the time to write reviews but this place was awful. Cost me 89.00 plus tip for the silver package. Which outrageous for what you get. Waited over 2 hours to finish my car. Watched them talk among themselves half the time and move at a turtles pace when "cleaning". Workers here dress and speak unprofessional. "Ghetto" would best describe this. When my car was "finished" I noticed many uncleaned areas of my car (especially on the interior), spots and dirty streaks everywhere. Mediocre at best. Or as my mother would say "half-assed". Didnt have time to ask them to fix it as Id been there for well over 2 hours and had things to do. Dont let all these good reviews fool you as they did me! NEVER AGAIN.

Not too impressed. Read all of the good reviews, went today and it was pretty lacklustre. Inside of my windshield and outside of the passengers side windows looked like they were wiped down with a dirty cloth. Couldnt tell until I got to driving and the sun hit it, but wow. I had a suction cup mark on my windshield and it was still there, just smeared over with the dirty cloth. Cannot stress how bad the windows looked. The wheels? - A handful of missed spots on each wheel, pretty sloppy. I guess I could have taken a better look before I left, but I was pressed for time and they just handed me the keys. To be fair, they were correcting the guy who was one of two people cleaning my car, but it isnt the customers responsibility to manage performance.

I went to Final Touch this past Thursday (12.18.08). The day was cold and blustery, but George met me outside with a handshake and a smile. I told him what I wanted to have done and he explained to me the details of the package which fitter my needs. He told me all of the prices upfront and I knew exactly what I was getting. Great, Great service. I sat inside the warm room watching The Legend of Zorro, Sports Center and having a great conversation with George. When it was all said and done, my car was completely detailed. Eveything I had asked for was done to the "T" and there were no hidden charges. All in all, my experience could not have been better. Great business run by great people! The service was completed with a lot of attention to detail. My car is still clean a week later, despite rain and pollen, I dont know how! The attention to detail however, requires a bit more time. So come by only if youre willing to wait at least ~15 minute per 2-person ahead of you. It looks like they can start 2 cars at the same time. The owner, George Murray, is a great personality who is an amiable conversationalist. I asked about one of the many portraits decorating the waiting lobby, and he was more than obliged to tell the tale of the Austins many sites that are no longer open.

This place deserves a little credit. Its a real urban experience with rap music blaring, and some of the guys that work there look like real hood rats--but thats fine with me because my ride looked great when I left. They do spend a lot of time for the 17 dollars that I paid. There is only one thing I would say as a negative, that it did take a long time. Its not a drive-through, its a true hand wash. Best thing to do is to go next door to city market and do some shopping or there is a chinese restaurant around the corner and I saw, but did not try, a roach coach across the street. Recommended for inexpensive hand wash.

As if the other hundred other people didnt convince you, this place is really quite top notch. Its looks like a showroom inside with a Vantage parked out front, nonetheless, and theyve got a living room with free beer along with all the other amenities one likes to have available while spending a non-trivial yet entirely worthwhile amount of money on making sure ones baby is as squeaky clean as can be.I dont know what other peoples gripes with the car washes was all about - it was clearly pointed out to me that car washes were available as long as I grab a Stage 1 detail every 6 weeks. Works for me.

Update: They stole all the change out of my center console! Phoned the manager, he promised to get back to me, still waiting....This is the second time I visited this car wash. The first time took well over an hour for a basic wash, (super touch) but I was happy with the results. I figured they just got backed up. The second time (today) took over two hours for the same exact wash. It was absolutely awful. I could washed and meticulously detailed my car in half the time, for a fraction of the price. This service should come with a warning, wont be coming back.

Sorry about those of you who have had negative experiences. This was my first visit based on a recommendation by my son. Got just the basics, and felt like it was real value for the dollar paid. They cleaned the inside, armoralled the dash, and even left some spare change in the coffee holder I assume they found on the floor. Most importantly, they returned a check book I lost four months ago. The exterior also looks great and no smudges on the windows. Now where else can you find a deall like that for $16.95 plus tip. Ill be back after the next rain.
