DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS PLACE!!!! I took my car to this Christian Automotive based on the reviews here. Extremely BAD idea. This place is a wolf in sheeps clothing, and that they have the name of Christ in their name is an insult to the Gospel of Christ. During my visit, I witnessed Bob at the front counter tell a lady she needed new tires, not knowing she had recently purchased 4 new tires from a local Discount Tire shop. When she called him out on it he backtracked and tried to clean up his lie. But it was too late. Considering that I witnessed this ordeal, you might think that he would not try and pull one over on me - wrong! I went in for a dead battery. I had my car towed in and it just so happened that I was outside at my car when Kris the mechanic came out to run the battery test. He did and confirmed it was dead and notified Bob at the front desk. When I went in to pay, Bob said my total was $257!!! I quickly said NO WAY and further questioned him and requested to see the invoice. Bob had added what he called a “diagnostic fee” that was never run on my car. Ironically, the invoice listed this – fee - as a “CBA Courtesy Inspection” that checks for oil leaks, cooling system, steering system, fluid levels, wipers, exhaust and electrical, etc. Not knowing that I was present the entire time Kris tested my battery, Bob proceeded to explain to me that Kris ran these multiple other test, which was an absolute lie! My car was in the parking lot the entire time. It was never pulled into the actual shop area, where the majority of these items would need to be tested for. When he knew he was caught in a lie, he re-ran the invoice listing the diagnostic test as “$0.00” and an additional item he was charging me for as “declined.” I wouldnt be – this - upset about this if the name of this shop didnt start with "Christian," but I am a Christian and this experience DISGUST me. I will not visit this location or any other Christian automotive again. First and last time was today. I am notifying home office as soon as I hit "Post", with very little expectation based on this experience. Lastly, if you’re reading this and are considering this shop, please DO NOT waste your time. And if you are a Christian, don’t assume anything based on the name- it’s nothing more than a scam. P.S. the invoice showed nothing about the warranty of my battery, so I had to ask about it and had Bob write and initial what he told me on it before leaving.

I went to get my car inspected at Christian Brothers, and during my conversation with the service manager, let them know that recent repairs had been made to the car although the check engine light was on. He offered to have their technician give the once over for my vehicle, which was nice. They did fail my car, which I understood because the check engine light is indeed on (still not sure why after all the repairs Ive made on the car, haha). They let me know that my car had leaked a huge puddle of coolant onto their platform, which concerned me greatly because my car had not been leaking that much coolant. The technician had also indicated that the parking brake would not hold the car, as well as the headlights in front not being properly mounted. Needless to say, I had the service manager test the parking break, and it does hold the car. He and another manager also checked my headlights and found that they are mounted properly. They claim that they did nothing to make my car leak coolant, that it did that of its own accord. I do not think that is the case; however the tech was not present with both managers to account for himself, so I cant lay any blame on him. The two managers I worked with were both friendly people; however I would not recommend this particular establishment to take your vehicle to. It concerned me that there were several "big" items that had been labeled as wrong, when they actually were not. There were other things that need to be fixed, such as one tire with a bulge, a small hole in the drivers side turn signal (in the front), etc, and they are legitimate issues that the managers showed me, so I understand that they need to be fixed; however I am dubious as to whether their technicians do their work thoroughly or not, due to the items that were retested and found to be fine.

I dont like other people working on my cars. Im a typical sceptic when it comes to someone else being under the hood of one of my vehicles. A few days ago I connected my battery in reverse and thought I just blew a fuse in my grandpas old farm truck. My brother and I towed it up to Christian Bros. Not having the right tools or amount of time to diagnose the problems with the truck we would have never realized how much damage had been done. Bill and his wife not only diagnosed the problem quickly and fixed the truck up but even offered to give me a ride back from my house to the shop where my other truck was since I live near by. Unbelievable turnaround time. No one likes spending the additional money to have something on your car worked on but even after the problems were diagnosed it would have taken me a a whole weekend to install the parts needed that they had done in a few hours. Nice to know I have a shop like that near by.

Our turn signal light on our minivan went out. I called Christian Brothers to get a price and Blane said, "Just come on down, if its just the bulb, Ill pop a new one in for you free of charge." I highly doubted that would be the case, but made the trip anyway. I was first incredibly impressed by the warm and comfortable waiting area and then Blane met me at the counter with a smile and said hed take a look at the van. Ten minutes later, he came back in and said we were ready to go. Hed replaced the bulb, topped off my oil, and inflated my tires…all free of charge. Being 8 months pregnant, tears come pretty easily these days and I had to fight them back. I was very impressed by their absolute promptness, kindness, and excellent service I was was given when the shop was very busy. They will have my business from now on. Very impressed and grateful.

I come from a family that runs a car repair/gas station/rental small business. New owners Bobby & Sandy are the best in the business. Honest, caring, helpful, respectful and it seems the last thing they would try to do would be to upsell me parts I didnt need. As a single mom of two young boys we felt at home in their waiting room. Sandy offered my boys drinks and snacks as we waited. Another mom came in who had just broke down on the highway. You would have thought they were old acquaintances. Im not sure where the other not so great reviews are all about but I cant imagine them not being for the old owners. I dont live in Bedford/Colleyville but you can bet I am making the drive to see them for all my future automotive needs.
