When they told me that my mother board was fried I accepted the diagnosis without question. They said that they would price the replacement part and call me within 36 hours with an estimate. One and a half weeks later I called and they told me that they had yet to hear back from HP. They offered to give me the part #, so after a couple of calls I was able to track down the part and realized that I could buy a new computer for the same price. The stores representative assured me that he could remove my hard drive and put it in a stand alone case with out any problem. Needless to say there was a problem. I now have a hard drive with 500 gigs of corrupted info. All of my pictures and music are on the file, but so are all of the pictures that IE stores in its temporary memory as well as corrupted and mislabeled versions of all my songs. So I need to clear out about 40,000 pictures and 30,000 corrupted versions of songs. Any programs I was hoping to save are gone, and all of this is due to the fact that they "had a problem" when they were removing the security that I had for windows and had to organize all of the files based on file extension.

I have no idea how they are still in business. I was getting a computer repaired for a semi-famous musician from out-of-town. Super critical to be delivered within 2 days. After diagnosing, charging me, and telling me they couldnt fix it, I went to pick it up because artist HAD to have back within a couple of days, so I was going to ship it FedEx. Well, Express Computer Repair gave me someone elses computer. I figured this out while headed to the airport for two day ship. I returned other customers computer to store and asked that they help with paying for part of the overnight expense of sending laptop back since I would now have to overnight it, not two-day ship it. Of course they said no and they saw no reason why. The owners attitude, as expressed by other complaints here, was ridiculous. He couldve cared less and didnt even "get it" that I just saved him huge liability returning someone elses computer! I will NEVER EVER do business with these folks again, and everytime I walk by the store I get angry again.

Darn..I should have read this reviews before.I gave my laptop for repair almost 4 weeks ago. They told me it will be easy and only this much money....then they need a lot more money for parts and labor than they agreed to me previously. When I pointed out that that was not the agreed price they called police on me stating I am holding up their business. Also they take only cash. After I returned with cash the person told me I can not check the laptop in the store and he won`t give any guarantee that it works. If I have any problem with that I can file claim with small claims tribunal...Too much hassle and I don`t have time for that.So I ended up not getting my laptop. It is still in their store. He told me he will sell it.Hopefully they will erase data before that.I think that is the plan from the beginning for them..Avoid these people..Save your time and money...

Was told my computer would be repaired in 4 days. Four days later I called and the part had not yet been ordered. 14 days later I get my laptop back. Charged me $50 for a $2.50 part. When I went to pick up my laptop he talked my ear off about how he knew Shaq, Bo Pelini and all these ex-LSU baseball players from when he was a scout for LSU. I did some checking and he wasnt even at LSU when Bo Pelini was there, so he lied to me. Personally, I do not trust a word the guy says. I have never had a more displeasing business transaction.

A computer shop that doesnt even understand that DDRXXX and PCXXXX ratings are the same thing? DDR333 = PC2700. Seriously. Even after I told the guy, he just looked at me with a blank stare and kept rummaging around the store for a part that only existed in his mind. If you know what you want, go here. If you expect the employees to help you out, you better be prepared to leave your stuff there so that the one guy who knows what hes doing will be able to look at it.

The owner seemed very knowledgeable and willing to work with me on price, but wouldnt actually give me the names of the parts he wanted to use so I could do some research. Also the store looks really out of date. I understand that they probably spent a lot of money on their stock, but if it looks like a knockoff from 2001, Im not gonna buy it and it makes me lose confidence in the store.

Came here with an estimate from another computer company and they were able to save me 60%. All the details of my project was fully outlined and clearly communicated from beginning to end. Two words, honest and straight-forward. I would highly recommend this establishment for all your electronic needs.

Horrible experience. These guys are hacks - and not in a good way. Avoid like a computer virus. They are shakedown artists who will hold your computer hostage after what for me at least was one of the more incompetent business experiences Ive had in Bedford in a decade

I am in need of getting work done on my computer. A few years back these guys were great. It seems they have slipped in the last few years. Anyone recently have anything positive to say or are the negative reviews accurate for how theyre doing business now?

I had a horrible experience. I wouldnt purchase anything from them. Most of the parts arent in static bags. The guy spent 15 minutes insulting macs. I wanted a part not a lecture. Wouldnt recommend this shop.

$80 for an 80 GB INTERNAL hard drive for an older PC. Uh, no. This is 2009, not 2001 with the respective pricing.
