Horrible!! This guys are just rookies and inexperienced.When I took my laptop for them to fix,the computer was working perfectly. The only problem was that little AC part (where you connect the charger). It was loose and to make it work I use to move the cable side to side and hold it in place but after do that,everything used to work perfectly. This guys told me that there was no problem and these little peace can be replaced and that it only cost a couple bucks. Ok,after two full weeks,they finally called me and my laptop was "fixed". They charged $99.00 for labor and $14.99 + S&H (I found that part on ebay for .99 and free shipping) plus tax! And thats not all! I wanted to prove them that my computer is working fine before leave but they told me that it wasnt necessary so I left. Now my computer works but not at all. One of the USB port is not working nor the QuickPlay,dvd or volume buttons. When I go back to them and let them know the problem,they said "thats not our problem" that they only worked the AC jack. I would never take any computer to these guys again. NEVER!!!!!!!

The Hands On Computer Repair replaced my desk top hard drive with Seagate about 2 years ago. I did not like the noise it was making and I have taken it back to them but I was told it was just a loud fan. It still bothered me and I got used to using my iPad instead. I finally took it to another computer repair shop and he told me that my hard drive was bad. It needs to be replaced again. I also found out my computer had not retail hard drive but an OEM hard drive. This is only sold to computer manufacturers or computer distributors. Seagate has a 3-year warranty but I was told that I must go through the shop that it was purchased. The couple who identified themselves as owner was downright rude saying they dont believe me even I had the receipt. Since it has been 2 years, they had no intention of helping me getting a replacement from Seagate. So I have lost my money for the whole transaction but I dont want anybody else to go through the same experience.

Just left for the 3rd time, iPad mini screen fix still not done 3 weeks later. First they ordered the wrong part, next they were not open during the stated open hours time and last I asked to turn it on after the screen was fixed. I had to go get my own charger out of my car because they didnt have one. How do you not have the proper chargers to verify your work was done properly? Sure enough even though the screen was fixed the digitizer was not working. Still waiting on my iPad back. This is not the place for any screen replacement issues. Update: just picked it up, refusal from the shop to make any sort of discount or work with me as their customer. Was quoted $95 and 3 day turn around, was charged $167 and 3 weeks turnaround. Full price was charged. Worst experience possible! This is literally the first review I have ever written for any company. There is a reason. Best of luck to anyone who gives this company a chance.

Ive been working with these guys since 2003. They have always done an excellent job of building my systems, and their tech support is quick and detailed. As long as these guys are in business, I will use them. They have never inflated charges, or failed to fix what I needed, quickly and with a friendly manner.

i took a laptop to them in 2006 they fixed it and its been working perfectly ever since so i took two more to them 2 days ago and they repaired them also theyrun great even done upgrades for free these guys know what their doing their great
