I drive from San Antonio to Boerne just for Chase! Im particular about my hair as its its long with layers. Ive been somewhat spoiled from working in an upscale salon for many years therefore I was able to receive topnotch $100 haircuts and for free! After my hairdresser moving and several unfortunate life events, I found myself not only without a stylist but without any extra funds to afford another of her caliber. I had no choice but to "sacrifice" my hair to a "stranger" who I KNEW wouldnt cut it (get it: cut it?!)...anyway...thats when I met Chase. I explained my quandary as politely as possible, and she listened wholeheartedly and replied with THE MOST AMAZING RESPONSE. She said, "Sal, Ive only been doing hair for a short while. Im most certain I wont get it as good as your friend of so many years, but Ill damn sure try. And, if you dont like it, you just keep coming in until I get it to your liking." Upon returning for my 2nd visit, I was greeted with a hug (we bonded on the 1st!), presented with my earrings Id left there almost a year previous (not even IIIII remembered!) and then she broke out her detailed notes she took. I was like "When have I become so special??!" What Im trying to say is, I dont care if I ever get the funds to afford that "topnotch haircut" again. And, Chase and I are STILL trying to figure out how my layers should be cut, and Im totally fine with that! Chase-I havent had to go bald yet, but if I do, youll STILL be my hairdresser! (cancer) Youre a blessing!!

I checked my children in for their appointments and when I got there was told they were taken off of the list because they already made it to the top of the list and were called. At other GC locations they have never done that and just move on to the next client. I was then told that it would be less than a 30 minute wait but it took well over an hour before they were called. We watched stylists go on lunch breaks, chat with clients etc. Finally when it was our turn, it took 10 minutes to cut both of my childrens hair while they spent 45 mins with someone who had less hair than my son. Too much talking and not enough cutting. We have never had a problem with any Great Clips, but I am very dissatisfied with this particular visit to this particular location.

Very high turnover for their staff which is frustrating but i guess that is the nature of this business. As for their work, i go about every 2-3 weeks with my son and daughter (ages 4 and 7) and they do a good job with me. They are not particularly impressive with childrens haircuts, sometimes having trouble with a simple buzz cut for my son. Im sure that sometimes kids squirm, but the lazy and sloppy lines and fades are probably more a result of practical skill cutting hair. Ive never had that probnlem when i pay $20 for the kiddie cuts --guess you just have to pick your poison whether it be the price savings or the better haircut. All in all though, for adults they do a very nice job. Maria and Esmerelda are great and very patient.

We have been going to this salon for a while however today while my son was getting his hair done by the wonderful stylist. The stylist next to us proceeded to talk to her customer telling stories with words and phrases that are not the least bit child friendly. Considering she had children herself youd think shed know better. She even acknowledged my child, so she was well aware that he could hear. That being said we will never be back to this location as wonderful as the stylists we have had are. I dont pay for my child to hear things he shouldnt. Extremely unprofessional, which is upsetting for the stylists who are losing customers due to acts like this.

This is a shoutout to Rosa-Marie. She has worked on my hair and my wifes. Rosa-Marie is awesome when it comes to styling my hair and helping me look my best. She is quick and consistently cuts my hair just the way I like it. She is friendly and always has something to share. Great Clips has an amazing employee.

Received a haircut and shortly after I was finished the lady sat me down in the front turned away then looked back at me and asked if Id like a haircut. She didnt recognize me or remember working on my hair. Pray you dont get the old blonde woman.

Not impressed. They do not do what you ask. Both my mother and I have gone in, and walked out extremely dissatisfied. All they said was, " Youll learn to like it". Will not be going back.
