Unfortunately my son couldnt attend Happy Tree for very long due to our familys rough financial situation. However, for the short time he did attended, my soon to be 2 year old son seemed to enjoy it. Bellow is a list of pros & cons in my opinion regarding this facility. ~ Pros ~ Registration process was fairly easy Loved the frequent updates of my sons activities on Daily Connect Lesson plans were very well thought out and challenged kid Clean Very sweet staff that have incredible patience with the kids. ~ Cons ~ My son missed an entire week due to an ear infection - I didnt appreciate that I still had to pay for that week but I understood I was paying for my sons spot. On Monday the week he came back he had prescription medicine he had to take twice a day for 10 days. That Monday I asked a few laddies if they could give it to him and they all said yes. Two days later my sons classroom teacher told me they couldnt give prescription medicine but over the counter was fine, wish they had told me sooner... = miscommunication. And lastly I never understood why they seemed to get irritated if my son missed days going to daycare if I paid accordingly... Some days his grandma really wanted to watch him, other days he was sick and I know that no one is going to take better care of your child than your own family. My son also has allergies and he would always come home with a very irritated and painful red nose. = We understand yall want to be a professional educational place but try not to be so serious. My daughter went to the Happy Tree from age 6 Weeks to 2 1/2 years. We left the school because we moved closer to Downtown. The school is family owned, which is nice because you can tell they take pride in what they do. The school is very clean. The staff turnover is low which means consistency for your children. The size of the classrooms are large enough for the kids to have plenty of room to play. My daughter needed special attention when it came to eating and they were very helpful and catered to her specific needs. A lot of the teachers spoke fluent Spanish to my daughter on a regular basis and now she understands English and Spanish. I am a very hands on parent and I dropped by the school unannounced on a regular basis - they truly have an "open door policy". The tuition price is very reasonable, especially considering the fact that the school is so easily accessible to Addison. They also give you 1 week of vacation, which allows you to take a week off (for family vacation) without paying. I havent found another school that offers this perk. My Husband and I both were very pleased with the Happy Tree.

Happy Tree is not just a daycare, I am sincerely Blessed to say that for the last 14 years they are family. I was fortunate to have all 3 of my children attend Happy Tree. My oldest now is in middle school, I also have a second grader and I currently have a preschooler that still attends Happy Tree as well. Happy Tree has been instrumental in all of our childrens growth and development. The Owner/Director(s) and staff are competent, professional, caring, warm and very hands on. From the moment you walk in the center there is a welcoming, creative and HAPPY aura that you can feel and its reflected on the faces and character of the children in their care. If youre looking for a quality center that offers a safe, sanitary, environment while fostering each childs needs emotionally, socially, culturally, and developmentally, Happy Tree is the center for you. From the art on the walls, to the curriculum, to the playground, each childs strengths, interests, and needs are priority. For these reasons and more, is why Happy Tree has been a hallmark in my familys lives.

I do not recommend this Daycare to anyone. Its sad to say that at first I loved everyone their, very nice & they made me feel at home. After a few weeks(October, 2012) of being their it just didnt go well. Customer service got horrible, Direct didnt know half of what was going on. Her mom makes agreements with parents & she doesnt follow through. Instead of talking in her office to wanted to talk loud in front of other parents. Now I see why they were going around house & apparments looking for business because they are so low on kids. For their bad business, horrible service & took my child out! They will do anything for any parent to take their child their but after thats done itll go a different direction. For the first time parent taking their child to daycare you would think that it would go smooth, well it didnt! As you can see, last time they had any reviews was back in 2011, so I just thought I would update this & say how I feel. Aslo, Thank you so much for you bad service Happy Tree!!

My 2 and a half year old son has attended Happy Tree since he was 3 months old. As a single dad, I spent a many many hours vetting day care facilities prior to deciding to enroll him in Happy Tree. They were referred to me by a close friend that has had her son there from 3 months old, until he went to proper school. They are a fantastic center who truly puts the needs of the children first. I am able to go to work and focus, safe in the knowledge that my little boy is happy, contented and looked after. I in turn have now refereed a friend of mine to Happy Tree, and their 7 month old is now happily enrolled. I would not hesitate for a moment to entrust your baby to Danielle and her staff. My son is a well rounded, adjusted, thriving little boy, and a lot of the credit for that needs to go to the place and people he spends 40 hours a week with. Thanks for all you do.

I switched my son from another daycare to Happy Tree and actually teared up while taking the tour. I realized that happy tree was miles above where I currently had my son and felt so bad I didnt take him to Happy Tree sooner. I love that it is family owned so you dont see all of the turnover that you commonly see in the daycare chains. The classrooms are large and more importantly CLEAN and organized; great environment for the kids. Structured lessons, daily - so it’s NOT just glorified babysitting. My son, and others are leaving Happy Tree able to test out of Kindergarten and my daughter will be there until she goes to Kindergarten as well. My daughter loves the teachers so much, some days she doesnt want to leave. Another plus is that I am in constant contact with the director through email and always get a quick response, which is important for worrisome parents.

I had started a new job in a city we didnt live in which meant a new school for my 3-year-old. I remember being stressed out during the interview process because I couldnt find what I considered a suitable school at a reasonable rate. I drove by one day and pulled in and Danielle was able to meet with me on the spot. She gave me one of the best tours Ive been on and before the tour was over I was trying to hand her a check to reserve my daughters spot. The staff is helpful and they put a calendar together that the parents can take home with upcoming events so that there arent any surprises! Also my daughter has greatly benefited from a social and educational level as well. She has really come out of her shell and we are grateful to have had this experience!
