FedExs SmartPost ALWAYS makes my items delay at least 4 days. This time, Amazon used SmartPost. It shows it shoud arrive on Friday which was YESTERDAY. But, it has been three days without updating the tracking information on FedEx website. I did a live chat online with one representative, and she replied: ( 14m 33s ) Rachelle C: Upon checking the package is currently in transit and will be deliver today by the end of the day. ( 14m 36s ) Rachelle C: It is possible for a shipment not to have scans for a couple of days if they are in a trailer and in transit, especially for long travel to reach the destination terminal. . It will be scanned internally for sorting. But rest assured that packages will arrive on the due date. Last night when I came back home hoping to see the package, but it shown schedule delivery TOMORROW which is today 12/05/2015 Saturday. This morning, it finally updated, BUT "Scheduled delivery: Wed 12/09/2015 by end of day" which is 4 days later....... My opinion: SmartPost looks like a great idea, but FedEx just could not make it work AT ALL. The transition between them and post office is very unsmooth. With the shipping fees I saved, it cost many of my time wasted waiting on the things I needed days ago. Totaly not worth it!!!

I WANTED TO CHECK THE ARRIVAL DATE OF MY SHIPMENT, ON FRIDAY 07-07-2017. I DID ON THE FRIDAY LISTED AND THE ARRIVAL DATE WAS TO BE ON SATURDAY 07-08-2017, BUT WHEN I CAME HOME FROM WORK I REFRESHED THE BROWSER PAGE AND IT CHANGED TO TUESDAY 07-11-2017... WHY IT CHANGED I DO NOT KNOW, SO I CALLED THE REPRESENTATIVE AT THE SMARTPOST, AND SHE DID NOT KNOW WHY EITHER. I LIVE 28 MINUTES AWAY, AND I INFORMED HER THAT I COULD PICK IT UP TO SAVE TIME. I MEAN FEDEX SMARTPOST IS 28 MINUTES AWAY BUT INSTEAD THE DATE CHANGED BY ADDING 4 MORE DAYS TO THE DELIVERY DATE. I COULD WALK THERE AND BACK TO MY HOME WITH THE PART IN LESS THAN FOUR DAYS. THIS FEDEX SMARTPOST IS A JOKE.... PLUS THEY DO NOT ALLOW CUSTOMERS TO COME AND PICK UP A DELIVERY AT THEIR LOCATION... THESE FOLKS MOVE AS SLOW AS MOLASSES!!!! IF I COULD GIVE THEM 0 STARS I WOULD SO I GUESS THEY GOT FORTUNATE BY GOOGLE REVIEWS ALLOWING REVIEWERS TO MANDATORY AT LEAST GIVE ONE STAR!!!!

FedEx SmartPost keeps changing the delivery date which makes it impossible to determine when the package is actually being delivered. Therefore, you dont know when to be home. My package was scheduled for Monday, which was great, I was going to be home. The delivery date changed to Sat. 7:00 in the A.M. The package was taken off my porch before I even woke up! . Hey, at least knock on the door to see if anyone is home before you just leave it!!!!!!!!!! When I expect deliveries, I keep track of delivery dates so I can be home. Stop changing delivery dates, stick to your original schedule date so people know when to expect the package. And for God sack, knock on the door. I am so sick of dishonest people just walking up in some ones property stealing. What the hell has this world come too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Never been there but for the employees trying to give the bosses a good review you can kma the people are speaking but fedex isnt listening they dont care!!!!!! Folks you guys need to start boycotting sellers and businesses that use this shipping service or request another shipping service.. Horrible service. I live in Mesquite. My package arrived in Hutchins facility yesterday. Thats 20 minutes from here. Today its in FedEx smartpost facility on the other side of Dallas. Forty-Five minutes away. Its Friday afternoon, and my delivery date has been adjusted to next Tuesday! Come on FedEx, are you kidding me? So I called their customer service #. Wouldnt you know it, its a robot. I plug in my 20 digit tracking number (wondering why cant I, and if I, can come pick it up?!) , and it tells me, my package isnt eligible for pickup. Whhhyyyyyyyyyyy??????????????? If I had known FedEx was gonna get their grubby mitts on my merchandise, I wouldve done business with someone else. You can believe that I will check next time before I buy from someone online. YOU SICK FedEx!!

What is Smartpost? I just started tracking a pkg. and it went through Shreveport, LA from Atlanta, GA to Dallas, TX via Winona, TX where it took 35 HOURS to go 110 miles to Dallas. This is Thursday and they say they can not get it back to Shreveport before Monday!!!!!! And I am reading everyones remarks and looks like I need to plan on a later arrival date??? What has FedEx gone and done? They used to be reliable and trustworthy. The old USPS is beginning to look good again. Just found out what Smartpost was, Fred Smith with his HEAD up HIS ARSE. Most STUPID thing he has ever done. No wonder pkg. take forever to get to there dest. Now can we have the OPT OUT Option as to how we want our orders sent, or does a retailer lose a sale.

Horrible, do not do it. I ordered two items through Walmart on December 1st of this year to have it here on the 14. To this day 21 I have not received the package, I have called Walmart and it was a waste of time- the representative was unorganized and all I for her response was to refund me the money in 3 days and for me to go to another store to buy the item. As far as the postal it kept changing the delivery date 3 times- the first 14,16,18 and it took 4 days for the tracking to show and it was constantly pending. To this day I am still pending...

Not only was this package delivered slowly, and I mean over a week for a small package, they delivered to the wrong house. Now, UPS, USPS and Amazon have done this, but this was five doors down and the numbers are big and above the garage. Now, UPS and USPS, and Amazon have apologized and Amazon usually offers a makeup to this problem, but FedEx blamed me. Not only did they claim the package was misaddressed but never got back to me. Checked the box and online, both were correct. So, FedEx has positioned itself forth in the derby of mailing issues.

Packages seem to magically disappear at this location. It may be an economical solution for a business shipping to residential customers, but it wont be economical when your customers stopped ordering because of businesss bad choice of an unreliable delivery method. Most consumers are willing to pay a little more to get there stuff on time. If you promise a certain range for it to be delivered and it isnt, you better offer me more than "Im sorry" because you chose this to be your delivery service, not me. Im going elsewhere.

Purchased an item on ebay and seller used fed ex smart post. First the item arrived in my home state just to move around constantly between fed ex locations for days on end, possibly the slowest shipping Ive ever experienced. Then the day it was out for delivery they delivered it to the wrong freaking post office in another state adding another 3 days. Customer service was absolutely no help didnt even know what I was saying had to explain 3 times. This is absolutely pathetic customer service and even 1 star is way to much.
