Im highly disappointed with my recent visit to Grand Spa. My friend took me there as a surprise when I was pregnant with my second baby. I asked them if they had a special prenatal pedicure and they told me that they didnt, rather, they did the standard pedi but paid special attention to certain areas and pressure points, so as not to put me in labor. My friend and I were having a nice time chatting and getting our perish when my pedicure was suddenly over....couldnt have taken more than 25 minutes. Meanwhile, my friend was still being pampered. I waited for a good 20-30 minutes for her pedi to be finished. Since she was treating me to the pedi, I didnt want to complain so I didnt day anything. When I got home, I realized that I still had calluses on my feet. Remember, Im pregnant (34 weeks) so Im not wearing heels or any shoes that would put that kind of strain on my feet in such a short period of time. So, a few days later I decided to call them to see what their standard pedicure was for pregnant women. I wad told yet again that there wasnt a different pedicure for such clients, rather they are more aware of what areas cannot be massaged. I them asked them how long a typical pedi was and they said 40 minutes. There is NO way my pedicure was anywhere near that long....plus, there is no excuse for me to still have calluses on both feet. The fact of the matter is that the nail tech, for whatever reason, did a half-a$$ job. The manager I spoke with told me that she would have their GM call me regarding my experience. She left me a message, then I left her a message. This was a week ago and Im still waiting for her to rectify the situation; however, it is clear that client satisfaction is not their priority. How disappointing because the spa has a lot to offer.

I have a few Spa Finder Gift Cards. On Tuesday March 5, I went to the spa finder website and saw that Grand Spa was available! I was thrilled! I also went to the Grand Spa website and their site said gift cards accepted. I made my appt for Saturday, March 9, 5 days later. When I arrived, I checked in and noticed a sign that said "As of March 1, we no longer accept Spa Finder gift cards." I immediately said that was what I had to pay with. They said sorry, we dont accept them. I explained that I booked the appt this week and it was still on both websites. "Sorry" they said, "were trying to fix the website." No mention of this new policy when I CALLED to make the appt. Youd think that over the phone onemight say, how will you be paying? Just so you know, we no longer accept spa finder. I said, well then I would like to cancel the appt. She then tried to tell me that they would be charging me 50% since I was charging the same day. UNACCEPTABLE. Because of YOUR mistake, YOUR website, YOUR error, you want me to pay you still? I spoke with a manager and they still did not accept the gift card. She offered to give me 10% off to keep the appt. No thanks. Luckily, they waived the "policy" of charging me 50%. I will NEVER go to Grand Spa ever again.

Over the years, I have frequented Grand Spa and I love it! They treat you like royalty and make you feel like part of the family!♡ Luane, Robin, Kerry, Anna, Alex, Lauren, Katie, Pamela, the front desk crew, Nail salon peeps and the most amazing Hair staff you could ask for, and anyone I have missed, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I always leave your spa feeling happy, relaxed, and ready to take on the day whatever it brings. I always share with how much I love Grand Spa. FYI, big shout out To Robin: Thank you for being so sweet and going out of your way for me. I could just hug you! You made me remember why I love your spa so much. Did not honor Spa Week pricing. I have been going to this spa for the past couple years on an infrequent basis and received great service. This last time was an exception. I received an email saying $50 for 50 minute Zen massage (what a great deal), so I called and set up an appointment and I also let them know I was pregnant. No word was mentioned about the Spa Week pricing not applying. I had a very relaxing massage and when I checked out the price was $100, because it was a prenatal massage. I explained my situation and the lady said she would take 20% off today, and I said that did not remedy my concern. She said she would have an office manager call me. 24 hours later, no call, so I called and spoke with Tara, who would not do anything, but offer me a 20% discount on my next service. This is not acceptable service! You should honor your rates and the statements your employees make. We will not be returning if this is not remedied appropriately.

Tania is the best esthetician I have ever gone to. I was loyal to a person for over 6 years and Tania has made me a regular at Grand Spa. She is attentive, caring, thorough and has change my skin forever. When I first came to her my skin was a mess (blemishes, uneven tone, acne) and I was very unhappy with another esthetician ruining my eyebrows. She set my mind at ease immediately and made my eyebrows even better than they were. Tania is very knowledgeable about skin care but very humble about her expertise. She diligently worked with me to customize my skin regimen which in turn has completely cleared up my face and is protecting me from unnecessary aging. Before going to Tania I had never received a facial that made a difference. She has gone above and above to get to know my skin and customize my treatments while staying in my budget. I would recommend her to anyone I know as she is awesome and made me a believer is quality skin care.

Got a Gift Certificate last Christmas to Grand Spa. It included a massage, facial and pedicure. The place is stunning, and I liked the way they put you in a robe and spoiled you.. The massage was delightful, I had Greg and he was great. I upgraded to an hour and half on the massage. The facial was nice but it you want bells and whistles its extra but I like the tech very sweet. Everything was amazing but the pedicure...well it was just ok and thats all Im going to say. Would I go back, defiantly. The only draw back is the super high prices but your paying for the pampering, upgrade for extra half hour came to almost 60.00, so after tipping my GC cost me 105.00. And for as many services that I was doing a treat or glass of wine or something else drink wise offered would have been nice. Lovely place and very nice staff, well worth it. I would defiantly recommend this place to anyone.
