Please read this review and exercise some caution when entering this business. I went based on how highly reviewed it was, but was utterly disappointed... Do yourself a favor and if you decide to risk it anyway, call ahead (although youll see below that that wont always help)/ I walked in yesterday and waited nearly an hour. I honestly am not complaining about that aspect, because I knew I would need to wait as a walk-in... but I think its important to know that I was patient and not complaining, because during my manicure I was told by two different people that they wanted to leave, since it was the end of the day. Look... I waited for your service patiently. I expect for you to not make me feel rushed, and I DEFINITELY expect you not to rush through my service, which they did. They also made a woman who had an appointment wait for about 40 minutes past her appointment time. Poor customer service. The tools that were used on me had been used on the previous client. I know because I sat and watched for an hour and nothing new, and certainly not anything from an autoclave bag, was introduced to the table. Disgusting. Im debating contacting the state, to be truthful, but Im not one for effing up peoples livelihoods. I got a dipping powder manicure from a young man with bleached hair. I would highly recommend avoiding him if you go here. He hit my cuticles with the drill NUMEROUS times. It hurts! I kept saying "ow" and all he did was go... "Oh, sorry." I am not sure he had any experience doing this kind of manicure; if he does, hes terrible at it anyway. The edges of the manicure are well outside the cuticle. I had a number of spots where the powder had adhered to my skin that I had to pick off later (outside what I would consider "normal" for dipping powder). You can see that on my pinkie nail, it was filed improperly, and now a jagged portion is sticking out which will look terrible once they start to grow. This is simply a bad manicure, aside from maybe the shape. Heres the kicker. While finishing up, another employee (another male), watched a video on his phone and put it in front of me and said, "Watch that." Well, it was a video of a woman being pranked -- someone scared her in her house -- and she got so scared she ran into the street and GETS HIT BY A FREAKING CAR. Do you know how upsetting that is to see? What the ever-loving-hell??? I think it was clear that I wasnt pleased. I told the older man at the register that I wasnt pleased, but that it didnt seem to matter to anyone, since my manicurist ran away from the table as fast as possible to smoke a cigarette while I was drying. You literally could not pay me to go back here. TL;DR Poor customer service, unhygienic practices, ugly manicure, and inappropriate and disturbing behavior by the staff. See Yelp for pictures if you need evidence.

Powder dip Nexgen discolored after two days. Chipped white nail polish after 7days on toes. Completely fraudulent. Products are low quality and their staff are inadequately trained. This was my first visit at M Spa, and I have to say that I am extremely disappointed in the customer service of the staff and the quality of their work. I almost never write reviews, mostly only if I have an amazing experience or a horrible one. Unfortunately, this review was because the latter. My nail artist was Ashley. Im not sure if she is a new employee or what it was but her work on my nails was very subpar. The thickness of the Nexgen was different on each nail and shapes were all uneven. In addition to this, she had to redo the design she drew because she used the wrong top coat which smeared the design completely. This is what led me to believe that she was somewhat new. Nonetheless- she fixed my design, used the correct top coat, I waited for my nails dry and left ready for my trip to Mexico. My first day on vacation my nails went from ghost white to blotchy yellow. They had become completely discolored. Mind you, I have been to Mexico nearly 10 times, and each of those times I have gotten my nails done, whether nexgen or acrylic WHITE. So- why would this time be any different? As soon as I return I go back to the salon to show them my nails. The manager proceeds to tell me there is nothing she can do for me because they warned me that discoloration can happen from make-up, sunscreen, or chlorine. This was NOT TRUE. Neither she nor her artist, Ashley, warned me of the discoloration that comes with white powder dip. I told her I was never warned and she continued to argue back to say that she did warn me. Interesting enough, she did not even do my nails. I left the store with no refund, my crappy nails still on and no sympathy. Pretty much I was accused of lying. What boggles my mind is that she looked me straight in the eyes and LIED to me in front of all her customers. She and her colleague, Ashely, knew that I was going on vacation the day I visited and that it was the exact reason for getting my nails done. They never warned me or gave me the slightest hint that I shouldnt do white due the possibility of discoloration. Regardless of them claiming to have given me a warning, I have done white powder dip countless times at other salons, and although Im not in the pool everyday, I use make-up and hair spray almost daily and have NEVER experienced this. PLEASE - save your $40 and go elsewhere. This company has no regard for their customers and the mistakes of their inadequate staff.

Lets start out with the atmosphere when you first walk in the door. Two words: Modern and Clean. I cant emphasize enough on how clean and sanitary they keep this spa. I have been to many spas and salons all over the DFW area and by far I mean far, M spa and Beauty in particular stretches the standards of keeping everything in order when it comes down to sanitation. We all enjoy things that we dont normally experience or use daily right? From the spa chairs, to the endless choices of polish, gel, and dipping powder, I have tried them all. Most importantly, you need experienced techs to do what you ask for, the way YOU want. If You are like me, I dont like playing Roulette every time I want my eyebrows waxed or my nails done. What I asked to be done the first time I was there, they do exactly that and it has not changed since. Not a lot of salons can hold up to their standards even with the fanciest and up to date equipments. If their employees dont know what the hell they are doing ( excuse my french ) then I wont be coming back. Anyways, I can rant all day about how much I like coming here again and again, without expecting more because they are very consistent. Excellent customer service from time in to the time out, but youll find that out for yourself when you check them out.

Ive always wanted to try this place since I live within walking distance. My mother and I went to go try this place and she was the only one going to get her nails done. But, as I was helping her choose colors,. I saw colors that I wanted to try so I got a pedicure as she got a manicure. Language was a barrier at times, my mother was trying to inform the lady that she did not completely put nail polish on some of her nails (had some missing spots without color). Other than that it seemed like a nice place. Its probably just me but I also at times could not understand their brochure of the services they offered for pedicures. Id probably give this place another shot, it was just mostly the technician not fully painting the nails and leaving spots. Shellac is pricey and you want to make sure you gets your monies worth.
