Havent actually gone in for my massage yet. My boyfriend and I scheduled a couples massage for last week when one of the masseuses decided not to come in that day. They cancelled on us the day of our massage! lol I know places that would charge a cancellation fee for that. Rescheduling has been a pain. Maybe they are booked up far into the future but a single time slot open next week still doesnt sound right. The person I was speaking to on the phone didnt seem to understand what I was saying/didnt want to give me straight answers. my question: what are your normal hours? Her answer: well it varies from day to day and how many masseuses are here. my question: well can I get an appointment at 6PM? Her answer: No we dont have anyone availible then. My question: Not any day? Then someone else took the phone and said, how about Sunday at 3:15? Sounds like it Sunday at 3:15 or never... I scheduled the appt but now I have to work on Sunday and I am debating if I should skip work to take advantage of this Groupon Im not sure I will ever be able to use! Based on previous scheduling experience, I dont know how easy it will be to reschedule. lol I have a monthly massage plan with Massage Envy right now...so i dont NEED the massage. It was supposed to be a nice treat for my bf while I checked out a competitor. So far...its not looking too good. I will get back with yall after the massage and update my review. -update: called them to reschedule on Friday. Left a voicemail for them and never got a call back. Saturday afternoon at 5PM I get a call to confirm my appointment. I told her that I had called to reschedule it on Friday and that I cannot make it on Sunday. She said the next massage availible isnt for weeks. I asked her exactly what days she would have the next appointments availible. She put me on hold to check and 10 seconds later the phone is disconnected. a minute later she calls me back, apologizes for the disconnection and continues to tell me that they have a 24 hour cancellation policy. Well I left a message for them on Friday with no call back. It least they shouldnt penalize me! So I ask her what next? Is there a fee or can I reschedule out for later or how does this work? She again put me on hold to ask and 10 seconds later, the phone disconnects. I never recieved a call back after that. I called them several hours later with no answer; left them a message. This place might be too much trouble REGARDLESS of the quality of the services.

Mona has been my masseuse for over a year now, and I received her contact information through word of mouth. I have been to many other massage therapists over the years in the DFW area, and no one holds a candle to Monas abilities. Not only is she the best masseuse Ive ever had, but shes a kind and friendly person as well. She has great availability (she seems to work 24/7), she uses a variety of techniques, and she customizes each massage to meet your specific needs. When I leave, I feel revitalized, my muscular aches disappear, and I feel positive and happy. My preferred massage style is very deep, utilizing multiple styles. Mona has multiple levels of intensity, and although I like a super strong massage, I can only withstand "light" mode. Therefore, if youre looking for an intense massage, look no further. Mona is the strongest female massage therapist that Ive been to. I believe she even works on professional athletes. The Monalisa Wellness Center and Spa has a nice, relaxing atmosphere. The bedding is always clean, the rooms are nice and large, and I like the aroma and the dimly lit ambiance. Although its a drive from where I live, I am happy to make it each month! My recommendation is to go on a regular plan. I go monthly and get a discount. The prices are already fantastic for a 60-minute full body massage, but I get a price break on top of that for being a "regular". I would recommend Mona to anyone - she can customize her style for any preference.

I have been seeing Lisa for the last 4 years at her own shop and I am so glad she teamed with with Mona to open Monalisa Wellness. They both give fantastic massages, probably the best in town. The new place is fantastic, I am sure it will be a hit. I know they have been a bit overwhelmed by the tremendous response they had to a Living Social coupon and they have been working through the growing pains this has caused but the service and atmosphere they offer is first rate and well worth the effort and even the wait to get in. I know they are busy because I have not been able to get an appointment since last month and I am a regular. I highly recommend Monalisa Wellness. I Wanted to update my review on my latest massage today (6/3/11). It was fantastic as usual. I dont know how she does it but Lisa is very intuitive on providing just the right amount of pressure to just the right spot - very relaxing. It Looks like some other reviewing folks have an axe to grind over not following the rules on a coupon that cost $9.00 for a massage worth at least $80.00. I gladly pay full price because I know I am getting the best.

Bought a couple of massages from the Living Social deals. Called and left a message to make an appointment. Someone immediately called me and was very flexible with my schedule. Had to book after coupon was expired and she was so awesome to work it in. Went to my massage ( it is always a little interesting going to new places as you are not sure what you signed up for). They are in a business building, on the second floor-good sign already. Immediately upon entering the office, I was relaxed due to the ambiance. Lighting, decor, smell and a soothing waterfall with plants around it, the atmosphere was amazing. Mona did my massage and it was wonderful. I got the deep tissue massage and could feel the knots going away as she worked on me. Mona was extremely professional and yet made you feel like you were so appreciated. What a incredible way to spend an hour being pampered. She made sure it was not too hard/deep or what areas I needed worked on. Yes please ALL. Already have another one scheduled and would recommend it to everyone. Coupon or not! Glad I found Monalisa Wellness Center and will continue to be a client!

I called at 3:30pm to try and schedule an appointment. And it rang and rang then finally went to voice mail. It said leave a message and we will get back to you "right away". Im an I derstanding person, so I figured, an hour max for a return call. I called back at 5:30pm thinking that if I didnt speak with someone they were going to book up for next day appointments. Again, it rang and went to voicemail. I didnt even bother leaving another message because it was clear that they were not going to call me back. So I found another place to go to in fort worth. At 6:25pm I got a call back and was busy so they left a message. They wanted to schedule my appointment for tomorrow now that They they were closed.(They closed at 6pm according to google) Then I get 2 text messages trying to make my appointment after all that. If you are running a business and you have a phone, pick it up. Not answering is how you lose ppl. And if you arent going to be prompt about returning phone calls, put that in the voice mail so ppl arent wasting their time waiting on you.
