I have been wondering whether to write this review or not for a while now. I went here as a student last year; as far the instructors and the atmosphere, wonderful! The quality of the equipment and the building itself, wonderful! The complaints I have, which I have long considered talking about - it is very much a "used car sales person" type of environment as far as the financial aid people and the business itself goes. I remember when I was first interested in this school, I simply emailed them just asking the basics; pricing, course times, things like that. I received a call not too long after from Jane Ryan, she explained a little bit of the course to me, but I have to be honest, she was very pushy. She just kept asking over and over again when I could start, and my information for the financial process. She almost made it seem as if I would lose my chance if I didnt go through with things quickly, I felt very pressured. I wasnt asked about what my future plans were as far as my living situation goes, which would have been helpful for her to ask me. She knew I am military, and that my location was guaranteed to change eventually. I was quite upset and worried when I started the program, to find out that laser laws vary per state and who can perform laser services. I was completely new to laser and did not see anything that said that online, so it would have been nice for that to have been made clear before getting in almost $10,000 worth of debt added to my other student loan debt. So now because of the military, I am in a different state and an unable to perform laser, and the school also failed to give you resources on how to possibly transfer or renew the laser certification as well. I say all of this with much respect, I truly loved the staff members; but I am truly disappointed because I feel as if I was taken for a fool so they could get their tuition money. I am quite angry as well for the amount of money I owe, especially considering I can not even perform laser services anymore. They should have some sort of forgiveness program. Again, everything I mentioned is with respect.

i had a treatment here. i obviously know what i am talking about over the phone. it is very discouraging when you both to double major in molecular biology and biomedical engineering and someone is rude to you over the phone and trying to act like a snob and steering you as a minority into microneedling. when youve already had very good experience with laser skin resurfacing elsewhere. i dislike some human interaction. there are numerous reports of bad laser outcomes on realself. i dislike the rudeness aimed at me. i mean i am world traveler. i have many options and when i make a phone i expect to be treated more professionally and with respect. i am in the local google tour guide review program invited by google because they liked my reviews. americon culture baffles me because it is class obsessed. i am a much more classy person than the people pretending to be classy. i am going to tell my international friends this problem too. i think NLI was good and has tapped out because people just want to flock here instead of to medspas in the area. understandable. it appears that NLI ought to have the students practice thoroughly on eachother and on beauty contestants too. thank you reading my review. i am a famous rockstar and comedian and world policy exchange manager.

I am currently doing the vela shape treatment in the Dallas facility. I have nothing negative to say about the personnel but I wish they were better at explaining things. I started doing this in the beginning of March and up until now ive only had 2 treatments done but paid for 6. I think it is such a long time apart. When I try to schedule it for a certain day they say they dont have anything available. I have not seen any results whatsoever and I think because im not getting constant treatments. My next treatment is on the 22nd which is like 3 weeks apart from my last treatment. I wish they were honest and would tell me treatments wont work as well if they are so far apart. I was really excited about getting this done but now I am not so sure :( When I tried to ask it just seems like they sugar coated it and told me what I wanted to hear and were not fully honest.

Worst experience ever! Way over priced first of all! They offered me a chemical peel class and Im not even able to do chemical peels in Texas! I specifically asked before i took the course and they said i was going to be able to do so!!! Defiantly a waste of $500!!!! The teaching wasnt so great either. The instructors were very nice, but the instructors were not very knowlegable and were passing around the wrong information. No thanks to NLI i landed a job with a great company. Thanks to another Institute where i had to do additional training because i learned absolutely nothing from NLI. The other Institute was very affordable and the instructor was very knowledgeable. I would not recommend National Laser institute to anyone. I wasnt the only one that had issues with them we had a student write a 3 page report stating all of the negative things about this school.

Im giving them two stars because I did enjoy my Botox injection for the time that it lasted. But after a years worth of laser treatments and my hair actually just grows back THICKER, with more ingrowns, seriously?!?! The instructors dont even teach the students to thoroughly go over the clients file, thus resulting in me having treatments done at a much lower setting then Im supposed to have. SMH Complete rip-off and waste of a drive. I dont even care to finish the rest of my treatments. They would set appointments for me without my knowledge and then notify me a few days before. If I tried to reschedule it would always be 6 to 8 weeks out!! Will be finding another Med Spa ASAP

Im currently getting several (5) tattoos removed (laser tattoo removal) and this is the most best and comfortable place to go! From walking in the door the customer service is so welcoming & friendly. The teacher & students are very caring and makes sure your comfortable your whole session. The prices are very affordable! I catch their specials which they always have ($10-$25) & regular prices are very affordable as well. If youre needing laser treatment definitely go here theyre AWESOME!

I had laser hair removal done at the Dallas location. I went through the school and spa to get it all done. I had a lot of hair so it took many sessions. Both the school and spa were great. The school may not be for everyone since there are multiple students in there while you are getting treatment. If you are shy go through the spa but it is more costly.
