My wife went to Firestone to have an inspection done because I regularly HAD gone there to get oil changes done and liked the service. During the inspection they found that her power steering fluid was low and her serpentine belt needed to be replaced. The cost to replace the belt alone was over $300. Being a mechanic myself, I got home and checked the fluid, it was low so I topped it off. Then I checked the belt which they said was dry rotted and cracked and needed to be replaced immediately. The belt looked like it had been on a 12 year old vehicle, but it wasnt cracked or dry rotted. To get a second opinion we took it to another Texas inspection station. I specifically told them to look at the belt and give me their opinion. Their opinion was that it was fine. Firestone was simply trying to get an extra $300 out of a $30 inspection. I have advised the rest of my family and friends to not use Firestone. I would rather go through the effort of changing the oil myself then give money to a bunch of mechanics that completely fit the stereotypical profile of being crooks. Shame on you, Firestone, hopefully the $300 in the belt change was enough to compensate for years and years worth of oil changes and tire alignments/rotations.

A woman named Michelle answered the phone and I was upset but respectful over the phone she told me that I can take my business somewhere else i said I dont care for the attitude, Michelle then sa I told her that Ive spent almost 600 dollars on the engine they charged me for a complete work on the tune up but they only changed 1and 3 spark plugs they said they could not change 2 and 4 spark plugs do to the fact it was as they said melted or frozen in and the only way to able to get them out is to possibly snap the heads or remove the head completely with the spark plugs i did however tell them no go on that cuz it just seemed shady so I left it at that then on top of it they charged me for shop supplies witch the money I pay to get my car fixed pays for that why do I have to pay for a can of wd-40 they use if thats the case Im going to take the can of wd-40 home with me.

This is one of the locations that does things the right way. Yeah they RECOMMEND services, but so does every dealership. You can take your car here and they will take care of you and honor their word or you can take it to an independent shop where they usually have no guarantee or warranty. Anyways, love the people and will take my car here for years to come. They are one of the most highly trained and most knowledgable staff Ive ever met.

Never again will I dare use Firestone, the most slowest service ever ,all though I will recommend it anyone that literally wants to spend there day at there service center. I would prefer anyone to take it to a small mom and pop shop that will get the job done in minutes. Ive been here so long I already missed half my work day for a single nail on one tire .

The manager Randell sold me a lifetime alignment on a car that had a bent frame, when I came back to get another alignment they said I had wrecked the car after paying for the lifetime alignment and they can no longer align the car, when I said that simply wasnt true, he said "prove it"

I was treated very well when I visited this store. Josh explained what mechanical work was needed on my vehicle (tie rods), and gave me several options on pricing for tires. I appreciate his honesty and him taking the time to tell me what was needed any why. Thank you Firestone!

Came in Saturday morning. Got 4 tires and oil change. There was a few other vehicles already there but, they got me in and out in a reasonable time. Randall communicated to me well. Explained all my options clearly. The service tech did a good, clean job. Overall good experience.

They told my wife she needed a new tire that had a small screw in it on the flat surface of the tire. They wanted $200 for the tire. Took it to Dorsetts Auto and had it patched for $17.50. This isnt the first time they tried to screw her over too.

I just couldnt believe the way I was treated , very bad , very disrespected customer service will never return to that store, maybe another store will show more support, but I really wont recommend that fire stone.
