Ill first describe my customer service experience. I walk in and head to the service desk. Three guys at the desk and they dont acknowledge me, then one kinda nods to the last like "hell help you in a minute." Later on when Im handing my keys over to a different guy (I think this guy was getting trained) there was nothing. He took the keys and didnt say a word, barely looked at me. Im thinking shouldnt he tell me "thanks, well see you in an hour" or something? Not a word. It makes me wonder because, is he going to make sure my car gets taken care of and not forgotten? Ive already waited over an hour which brings me to my next point. TIME. I went in to simply have my drivers wheel replaced because of screw/nail punctures. They say come back in an hour. So I run an errand and come back an hour and 10 minutes later. Then as I hand him the keys, I try and get some info out of him on what to expect and make sure hes coherent and realizes hes got my keys in his hand, and he says itll be another 35-40 minutes before they get to my car. Really? I cant wait any longer, I have a 2 year old and a 5 month old. So, I say OK and have my spouse drop me off at home with the kids and then take the car back. Hell still have to wait 30 minutes before they take it in. Im not sure when they actually finished the car, but I called in because its been forever and the guy is like "oh yeah, I just finished up on that and was about to call you..." Sure. If thats true, you have no positive track record for me to give you the benefit of the doubt. Weve just moved to this city, and will ask for recommendations before we get our car serviced again. The Pep Boys we went to in San Antonio was fantastic. This one sucks. Apparently they get so much business they can treat their customers like crap because its not going to make a difference in their profit margin. It may not hurt them but it certainly wont help them.

I went in on a Sunday, June 21, 2015 to get new tires based on price. I selected some tires and was told it would be about 1.5 hrs and they would be done. After about an hour, they told me that my lugnuts were swollen, splitting and would need to be replaced. The service rep picked out a set with locking lugs and assured me that they would work. About another hour later, I was told that those would not work because "Dodges are weird"... So, they found a few packs of lugnuts that would work but couldnt replace all of them. I asked them what they were going to do and they assured me that they could "salvage" a few of my old lugnuts. They then told me that they could order some and they would be in Monday, June 22 at 4 PM. I called at 5 PM, no lugnuts. They told me to call back at lunch on Tuesday, June 23. I did, no lugnuts. They service rep that answered the phone told me "hed get right on it" and call back in 30 minutes. One hour later, no call. I then called back. I was told that the parts were never shipped and they are still sitting on the counter of wherever they are shipping from. I will no longer go to Pep Boys for any type of service other than rotating the tires I purchased and any warrantied work on said tires. Discount Tire has never steered me wrong and my money will go to them from now on.

I hated my experience. I called for a tire that I needed to be replaced, got a good price but it wasnt there so they said theyd had to order it and itll come in that day at 6pm December 20. 6pm hits so I call them and they say its not there So they tell me to call back again later, I did and still not there. I call back next say at 12pm, still not there, they dont even know where the tire is at. So finally I get fed up and just wanted till 3pm. Finally I call and the tire is there so I go to pick it up and I see the people working, (only 2 actually working) and a group of workers sitting around talking about call of duty. As I go to get my tire, they continue to talk about call of duty until I finally ask them for help. I get my tire and asked them to put it on for me and they said okay, its been 30 minutes now and my car is still parked where I left it with the donut on...oh,and theyre still talking about call of duty instead of changing my tire and theyre the people who work in the department too so its not like they dont know how to do it. At least pull my car up. Terrible service, next time Ill just pay the $500 for my tire and get good service compared to these gamers who think theyre employees.

Waited 2 hours to get 2 tires fixed even though I had an appointment. Extremely dissapointed. I have warranty for my tires and they told me one of my tires wouldnt be covered. After waiting 2 hours I now had to pay an amount out of pocket. When I finally am able to get to the counter the cashier tells me I dont owe anything so I thought ok maybe they helped me out since I waited so long. 2 days later my tire has already lost air. So dissapointed. Definitely will not be going back or recommending anyone to go to this location. Cant believe I really had to wait 2 hours and only 1 tire got fixed. Not only that but not once did they mention to me the my other tire was not repaired. So now I have to take my time to take my car somewhere else to get it fixed. Complete waste of time.

i went into your store 3 times to fix my car cost me over 300 dollars for all the test and crap they did after all that my car still is not running. the latest fu--- up was to diagnose my car as a bad cylinder # 1 well the guys thought that because all a fuel injection cap that was loose that the problem was fixed well it is still missing on that cylinder. That was the easy fix for them not me. I lost a day of work and more aggravation over this car. I think i should be able to get my money back form the imbeciles that could not fix the problem. I will never go back every again. and if any body asks me and will tell them you guys suck big time Dont waste your time with these morons

If I could I would give them a negative star....Friday went order a part not in stock early in morning 920 am paid 184...for starter...they assured me be in store for pick up Saturday next day before 12...so I called...supposedly some one forgot to call me to tell me part not in stock nearest store in arkansas..hello Im in pasadena tx.., so now I get refund..but they no help me cause mechanic had dismantle manifold and put back old starter...a waste of 54 for manifold and luckly shop worked with me on placing old starter....all cause pep boys lied..or did not do their job.
