Originally I came for a full service fluid change. I have a 25 year old vehicle and was about to go on a road trip with it. They seemed to do a fine job but its hard to tell without checking all that they did myself. Charged an arm and a leg but I was hoping it was a futureproofing investment. (You dont want to know how much) I end up needing some emergency work after a break-down. I usually do work for my own vehicles but was on a time crunch and thought I would give them a try since they did my fluids. It was one thing that I was charged an arm and a leg to be there but another thing was when I found remanufactured parts on my vehicle. Not only did they give me an old distributor that they spit shined to make looks halfways decent but they also set the timing to my engine WAY off. To make everything even better my Ignition Control Module that they probably took off my old distributor just took a dump on me. When I look back at my receipt it shows that they not only changed my Ignition Control Module but also my distributor assembly. What doesnt make sense if I was charged $249 (way overpriced, should have been MSD for this much instead of generic) for the assembly that should have included the Ignition Control Module in it and then charged for an ignition control module to go out 2000 miles later. I dont see myself going back especially after every second opinion I have gotten when people see their work has appeared to be a joke. I feel like they took advantage of a college student that needed quick work done. Theyre just another one of those "Quik Kar Lube" places looking to rack up the bill.

My wife and I recently had our older model (2001) SUV serviced at this Christian Brothers Automotive. The experience was absolutely amazing. We knew the vehicle was leaking oil and antifreeze and had a check engine light on. We were trying to figure out what to repair and if the SUV was even worth fixing. On top of that we didnt have a ton of money. We explained the situation to the guys at the front, Terry and Justin. They looked the car over thoroughly and then took the time to go over literally everything that was wrong with it. They prioritized the repairs in order of need for us and provided separate prices for each item. We were able to get all of the essential repairs done well and still have a list of 3 or 4 things that we could do in the future. Its now running great! These guys delivered what they promised, when they promised. In terms of car repair, we couldnt ask for more. My wife and I highly recommend these guys if you need repairs.

2 starts for customer service. Among some of the best Ive ever experienced in a mechanic shop. My problem came with their pricing. They wanted to charge me 1,500$ to do the following on a car that is worth less than 2,000$: -replace control arms (they said it was easier to replace the whole thing rather than to replace only the bushings. Sounds a bit lazy to me) -rotate the strut spring -flip a washer on the shock (yes you read right) -replace the front 10 inch break lines. (Its just a screw on, easy replacement) They made it seem like they needed to take the whole car apart. I then decides to buy the parts myself and do it everything on my own. I spent 123$ on parts from autozone and did it all in a few hours by watching YouTube tutorials. In summary, dont go here unless you are wealthy. In addition, you never talk to the mechanic himself; they make you talk to the receptionist. *UPDATE* Im yet to be contacted by Christian Brothers about my issue.

I took my car to get an alignment. However, they told me they couldnt align it properly because I needed adjustable rear control arms on the rear and a Camber kit for the front. I told them that the back had adjustable control arms, my husband had just installed them. They continued to assure me that they werent adjustable. So finally, after a back and forth argument the man helping me said "ok well Im going to go back there and tell him to double check and Ill look at them myself, but he wouldnt be telling you, you need them if you dont." Then he came back and said "well it turns out they are adjustable. Hes going to work on it again and get the back aligned properly, but you still need the Camber kit for the front." I was very disappointed, and of course my car is still not driving right because I didnt pay for the Camber kit to be installed because I just didnt trust them after that. It was a waist of $93.

UNBELIEVABLE SERVICE!!! Being new to the Houston area and having to find a trustworthy and honest mechanic was something I dreaded, but only after a quick search of the local auto repair shops in the neighborhood, I stumbled across Christian Brothers Automotive in Pearland. I quickly scheduled an appointment for an oil change for the next day, just to get a feeling for the type of work they performed. Long story short, I was greeted by Ken and Terry, who are the most professional and courtesy people and made me feel as though we where friends for years. NOW TO MENTION THE SERVICE, they took care of my car as if it was there own and recommend services that only I needed(never trying to up-sell). This is the only place in the Houston area I will take my car!!! Thanks again Ken and Terry for making this such a great business!!!

As a guy who frequently works on his car, I can certainly be very stingy on the quality of work that is done to my vehicle that is not by my own two hands. I do however know when to admit that I am over my head on repair work and had decided to "find my mechanic" that I will use. On previous vehicles as well as my current one, I had anywhere from minor to major work done on them at other shops and I have never seen anything that was more than passable. That was until I had the fortune of taking my car to Christian Brothers. Hands down this has been the best shop Ive taken any vehicle to, always very thorough and never upselling a service that the vehicle doesnt need. I can safely say that I have found my mechanic now

When it comes to auto service, its incredibly difficult for me to trust just any place. Luckily, I was able to very quickly trust Christian Brothers. The customer service provided by Terry and his crew is phenomenal! There was no attempt to upsell me, just some good plain advice. They were glad to answer any questions I had or to break down what services were being performed. They also totally worked around my busy schedule, and Terry himself drove me home and picked me up later that day to get car, which was in great shape. Excellent service and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Great Experience. I took my truck here because Big Star Ford in Pearland (which I would never go to again) had an extremely high price for a repair that they diagnosed. After Christian Brothers looked at it they found out that what the Ford dealership had diagnosed was not the issue at all. It was a simple fix that cost me more than it should, and that was just because Christian Brothers had to do additional work to figure out that the Ford dealership was wrong. I appreciated all the information they gave me and their technician Mitch was extremely helpful.
